Mable secretly goes to the head of the council's house and registers her name as a contender. The council head questions Mable's decision, "my girl are sure you want to do this?, your father will not be happy with you and no one will support you especially when you are a girl"

Mable convinces the council head to add her name as a contender,"I know sir but I just want to prove every single person out there that even a female child is a parents pride we women can also help and add to the development of a nation"

The village council is pleased and touched with Mable's story and he adds his name to the list of the contenders.

Early the next morning, the council come to the house to hear Riswan's response.

Riswan agrees to take part in the competition, "I Riswan is giving you my word I will be part of the competition"

The village head tells Riswan is not the only one in the competition, "alright Riswan that is amazing but you are not the only one competing for the position of the village head someone else is"

Riswan is shocked and wants to know who dared to challenge him despite knowing how fit and strong he is, "who dares to challenge the almighty Riswan! when he knows that am the best and no one can defeat me at any competition no matter what it maybe"

The entire family gets shocked. Salma walks to Mable and gives her a very tight slap,"how dare you child, you challenged your own father, wow, is this what I've taught you, what will people say tell me now.....you know what today you have proved everyone right and me wrong,what everyone says about a girl child is true you are ungrateful am ashamed to call you my daughter "

At dawn,Mable goes to the usual place where she usually hangs with her friends to cry her pain out. Kel and Mira go around the village to look for their friend but they do not see her until they decide to go to their usual place where they find her crying. Kel sits by Mable's side and asks her how everything went,"why are you crying miss champion,how did everything go?"

Mira also asks her why she is crying all alone,"we have been looking for you everywhere and why are you crying bitterly? "

Mable answers her friends in tears,"everything went wrong and terrible and worst of all my mother whom I thought would support me gave me a very tight slap in the face instead,my father told me to my very face and I don't know if she'll ever talk to me, my aunt who always supported me doesn't want to but... my poor brother Tony wants to support me but I give up. I made a terrible mistake "

Mira takes Mable's hand and helps lift her spirit, "look you can't give up now, your brother, Kel and I are counting on you. It was you who promised to change my fate so please do it for my sake and for every girl out there who is been oppressed
