Epilogue: The Honesty

I don't know what has happened that night. One thing that I knew that I was in this dark place with nothing but the smoke that took over my body and the next thing I saw was Alina that was so happy to see me, sobbing while kissing me passionately. Not that I was complaining but hey, I was glad that I was out of that weird world.

"Coffee, honey?" Alina asked as she handed me the coffee as we were sitting at the edge of the pool after the renovation of the lodge. I have done the grand opening and I was hoping that she would explain more about the event but I don't want to stress her out after seeing her condition after that night.

"What a beautiful night, isn't it?" Alina said as she was looking at the sky that was full of stars.

"yeah," I replied as I was looking at her side profile. She was so beautiful even though she did not wear any makeup and was in her nightgown, which means it was lingerie, a revealing one.
