Sabrina Dubois' POV
"Well, hello there, sister," Celine said as I was holding her neck, ready to choke her if she did something that would threaten us.
"Sister?" Nathan said as he was taking out her goons. "What she means by that?" He said again as I was looking deep at Celine who was smiling wickedly as I knew what she was thinking about to do.
"Oh, you don't know? Sabrina Dubois, Celine Dubois, I thought you were quick but you lack common sense, looks like it," she said as she was looking at Nathan. I gripped some more I don't want her to do anything toward him.
"getting a little territorial, aren't we? No matter, like I want him to be by my side. besides, you can do better than that, Sabby," she said as she was looking around the room.
"oh, look at that, all of you coming together at last, and for what? Another trick up this old man's sleeve?" She said before Alfred's voice filling the room.
"enough!" He said before Celine looked at him like he was a mad man.
"You will not tell me what to do, old man," she said as she was frantic to get out of my grip.
"hold still, Celine, or I'm afraid I might have to hurt you," I said as I was holding her neck as I was making a warning for her.
"you wouldn't dare. The family was so important that you will never hurt me," she said before she laughed like a maniac.
"isn't that so, White? She would never hurt me but she would hurt you, I assure of that," she said as she was looking at Nathan like she will spoil the secret that I was trying to forget. Alfred suddenly came to assist as he put duck tape on her mouth and she was frantic to talk to me.
"Now, isn't that a little bit better? Alfred said as he was satisfied to put him away. Some of the guards were helping me to get her inside the prison.
"Celine Dubois, 24 years old. She was unstable and maniac. One of the wanted list for CIA and Interpol," the director said as he took off her name from the list.
"Are you sure about that?" Nathan asked as he looked at him. The director nodded.
"positive, we can rest our case now," he said before he went away with Alfred to discuss something. Again I was left with Nathan White. I knew that he would like to ask so many questions about my past but I don't want to talk about it.
"well, that's my queue. See you around, White," I said as I went past him before he gripped my wrist. I turned to look at him before he pulled me to go somewhere with him.
He pulled me inside a janitor closet as he closed the door and locked it. He turned to look at me as I was making my stoic face again.
"sister? Really? Why you never told me this?" He said as he was putting his hands on his hips.
"I don't think it was a necessary thing to say to some stranger that I don't even know the first time," I said as I was crossing my arms in front of my chest.
"don't lie. You already know about me when we first met, didn't you?" He accused me as he was pointing his finger at me. I sighed as I closed my eyes.
"You want the whole story?" I asked him as I arched my eyebrow at him. He nodded.
"don't say I warned you to know about the truth," I said before I went to sit at the chair that was inside the closet.
"it all began when I was with my host family and I knew that I have to get out of there soon. Alfred told me that he has an assignment for me in the United States and will be working closely with the CIA. so, I searched you up," I said as I looked at him. He was listening to me attentively.
"I was young at that time, so I went to France to reconnect with my host family. They did not know about my background. All they know was that I was an exchange student from a French-speaking country. That's all Alfred gave my cover to them. I then went to Latvia to get some information on you but I knew that you will be working on the mafia crime organization so I helped you out," I said as I knew that he would not like my next answer.
"what do you mean, you helped? I was the one that took them down," he said as he was leaning on the door. I sighed.
"do you remember the mafias that chased you?" I asked him. He nodded that he remembered.
"I was the one that ticks your cover off as I was told by Alfred to get you back as soon as possible," I said as I looked at him. Nathan was pinching on his nose bridge.
"so, that night, you're the mole that told them I was undercover?" He asked as he was punching his fist to the wall. I was startled by a sudden reaction.
"what else?" He grunted as he was trying to control his anger.
"I also planned the coincidence with the chicken mango and chasing you down on the streets of France," I said as I was turning my head, avoiding his glare.
"Why you little…" was the last thing he said before the janitor opened the door to get his cleaning supply.
"oh my! sorry, am I bothering you?" He asked before Nathan walked past him.
"Good timing, actually," he said before he walked out of the closet. I went after him as I was about to hold his hand.
"if you ever touch me again, Dubois, I swear you'll regret it," he said that made me stopped in my action. I just stood there as I knew he was angry at me for lying and deceiving him. But most of all, because I made him broke his promise to the government. I stood there I watched him leave me alone. I closed my eyes as I can sense the tear dropped on my cheeks and I was stunned to know about that. I wiped it as I chuckled at myself.
"tears, huh? Wonder why I cried for him?" I said as I wiped my face and rubbed my face with both of my hands. I sighed before I took a deep breath and went to interrogate my dear, old sister.
The elevator opened as I walked out of it to the prison that was built especially for criminals that were on the top list. I walked past them all as I stopped in front of my sister's cell.
"oh, look here, my sister came to visit me," she said as she was leaning on the wall.
"what can I do for you, little sister?" She said as she was coming closer to me. I was standing in front of her, holding my stoic face as I knew that I cannot be intimidated by her.
"why you show up all of sudden? Why you decided to show yourself now when you know all the agencies were looking for you?" I asked as I looked at her. She was smiling wickedly as she looked deep at me.
"do you know why the snakes shed their skins, sister?" She replied as she was playing with her nails.
"I'm not in the mood for games," I said as I narrowed my eyes at her. She looked at me as she knew what was on my mind. She smiled wickedly as she can read my mind.
"You just got dumped, don't you?" She asked as I went to knock on her cell, making the other inmates looking in our direction.
"I said, I'm not for games, Celine. Tell me what do you plan with that bacteria?" I shouted as I was holding her by the neck. She laughed maniacally as she looked at me.
"dear old Sabrina. You may be strong now, but you will never beat me. I always two steps ahead of you," she said as she was looking at me.
"You will never find me, this body, it's only temporary before…" was the last thing she said before she melted in my hands.
"what the…" I said as I was looking at the melted hydrocarbon in front of me. I don't know what was going on until the speakers were booming with her voice.
"dear agents of CIA, I'm sorry to inform you that you only have 24 hours to get the kill switch or the half of the population will die, starting with Washington DC," she said before she laughed again. I kicked the cell before I went up to the lobby to see Alfred there.
"And to my beautiful sister, Sabrina," she said as I stopped in my track.
"I as douze Heures parce que j'ai ton ami, Nathan White. Tick tock. Tick tock," she said as she was saying the message only for me.
"damn it," I said before I saw Alfred and he was nodding at me. I nodded back before I went to the car to save Nathan from her mad hands.
