Chapter 15: The Plan

Sabrina Dubois' POV

"I'm sorry, are you asking me to work with her, director? As far as I'm concerned I can manage to get the terrorist myself," Nathan got up from his sitting as I looked at him. Alfred just arched his eyebrow at me as I was keeping my stoic face.

"White, the last rescue that you have done was unnecessary as you just gave away that we were onto them. I don't need your reckless action to be the cause of our failure again," the director said as I just watched their conversation. He scoffed as he looked at me before he looked at the director again.

"You think that she can do what I can do? please, I have enough information that can…" was the last thing that he said as I interrupted him.

"Mr. White, might I ask you something about the case then?" I said as I stepped forward in front of him to match his eye contact. He looked at me up and down as I was wearing my gear and my suit for when I went out for a mission.

"Please, enlighten us," he said sarcastically as I just narrowed my eyes at him.

"What did you have so far on the terrorist?" I asked as I looked at him. He scoffed again as he put his hands on his hips.

"I think we all know that you are not qualified to know as you're just an intern.." I cut him off again.

"and you're just a made-up CEO of the company that I was interning for, isn't that right, Mr. White?" I asked him again as I looked at him.

"yes, that's correct," I cut him again as I was moving toward the computer. I punched in the thumb drive that I managed to get inscription to crack from their protected password.

"While you were on duty, sipping whiskey and reading the dossier," I said as I punched in the thumb drive and opened up the files that contained the terrorist plan on the bacteria that they just discovered to make a bioweapon.

"I have managed to get inside the facility and stole their plan that was protected in the computer at their abandoned warehouse that might throw some police forces off. I have done some research and I went to the warehouse to see that they have a complete operation and lab equipment that can duplicate and create the bacteria inside the warehouse. fortunately, for me," I said as I looked at Nathan that was crossing his hands in front of his chest, was looking at me.

"I have managed to shut them down and took this. however, after I read the information inside the computer, they will be attacking the HQ of the CIA and that is here. We will have only 3 days to find their next HQ or we were doomed to evacuate the building," I said as I put up the bioweapon description on display.

"Any question?" I asked as I looked around the room. The only person that was brave enough to ask was no than other Nathan White.

"how do you know this was the warehouse that was operating on that illegal experiment?" He asked as he dared for me to answer. I knew that he would not believe me that easy so I just have to be honest with this.

"The night when you decided to save me, I managed to slip in the tracking devise into one the terrorist as they went on to get the bacteria that was developing inside the lab. and by doing the calculation how they know that it would be there, I might suggest that we have a mole inside the CIA," I said as I looked around the room. The other agents were talking with each other as they did not know what to say. I might as well say that I was bold enough for me to assume that the CIA has a mole inside them.

"This is absurd, how can you say that when you not even part of this," Nathan said as he stood up from his chair.

"Indeed, you're right. Because I was not a part of this that I can assure you someone was leaking information, classified information, to the terrorist. So believe how much you want to Mr. White but I can assure you it did not just a coincidence," I said as I closed the display before the director looked at me and I went to Alfred's side.

"enough," the director said as he looked around the room. I was standing and my face was stoic as I knew he wouldn't like I came so strong like that.

"This is the plan that the terrorist has sent us and with the help from Red Arrows, we know what is their next plan. White, I want you to take Ms. Dubois to get the essential for this mission," was the last thing that he said before Nathan made a bold move.

"I can't, not with her and not with this ridiculous thing about having a mole inside our organization. Perhaps, it was the red Arrows that sell the information as we don't have anything on them," Nathan said as I looked at him, knotting my eyebrows together.

"How dare you…" was the last word I said before I was being cut off from Nathan.

"I quit," he said that made all the person in the room to gasp.

"While you can't be serious," the director said as he went out of the room as the elevator dinged.

"Watch me," he said before the door closed and with that, he was gone from the room.

"no, this cannot be it. We have to get him back. He was an asset for us, for this mission to succeed," I heard the director said as I was standing behind Alfred. Alfred was just silent the whole time. I don't know what he was thinking but I know that he had a plan to bring Nathan in.

"I think I might have a plan for that," he said as he looked at me. The director was confused by that notion but I know what he talked about. Oh Boy…

Nathan White's POV

I cannot believe that Sabrina Dubois was the one that was supposed to work with me. The director think I was a boy, that I cannot handle the mission myself? I have been doing fine before she gets involved. 'Yeah, keep telling you that, White,' my mind was making a weird reminder as to how I was also involved with Sabrina.

"Damn it," I said as I was getting out of the elevator. I was heading out of the elevator when I was startled to see that Sabrina was waiting for me beside my garage.

"what? how?" I asked her as I knew that I was the one that went out of that room first.

"oh don't look so surprised, you know I would be here quicker than you," she said as she was getting off from the wall that she was leaning on. I scoffed at her as I went to the driver side of my car.

"get off, Dubois. We're done," I said as I went to walk past her. She just looked at me as if I have gone mad.

"what?" I asked her as she was still keeping that stoic face of hers. She just shook her head as she held my keys in her hands. I keep searching for my keys as she was holding in her hands.

"I see that you need this if you want to get out of this building," she said as she threw my keys at me. I caught it as I was holding my keys. It was not.

"looking for this again?" Sabrina asked as she was looking at me. I sighed again as I pinched the bridge of my nose.

"Sabrina I don't have time for games. I quit, that's it. Now give it to me," I said as I went to get it from her hands.

"nope. Since you have quit, you are not entitled to use this car that was under the government funding," she said as she was throwing the keys up and down. I tsk as I knew that she did tick me off.

"oh, don't be a sour puss, White. You have been assigned to be with me the whole time. I just taking the liberty to be better than you," she said as she went to the driver seat and looked inside my car.

"Hey, get off," I said as I took her arms. She turned around and I almost forgot how intoxicated I was as I was around her.

"what's stopping you, White?" She purred as she was caressing my chest.

"don't tempt me. I don't like liars and you were on top of my list now," I said as I was looking deep inside her eyes. Her green orbs were teasing me. I was about to caress her before the building was shaking.

"ugh," we both said as we both stumbled to the ground.

"what's going on?" I asked as I looked at Sabrina, who was looking at her phone.

"there was an attack and it was targeting the conference room," she said before looking at me. Oh, Lord.
