"Phoenix Alder, take that back," Zane said affronted and he watched as the light returned to the golden orbs that he loved so much. He had also felt it once, that crippling fear of losing Phoenix, that period that he left the ruin, he did not want to remember those days and that was before he even knew how much Phoenix loved him, and now, he did not want to think about it. It would be too much.
Phoenix smiled and looked at him, "Love."
"I am here."
"My head hurts."
Zane kissed his forehead, "Sorry, dearest. What can I do to help?" He moved closer a bit, touching his forehead with his own quietly
Phoenix closed his eyes but he did not respond. Him just staying here was enough, it was not like he was not used to his skill but he had always been detached from what was playing in his mind. When the character became Zane, it just became too much. He just needed a little time.
