Our first mission chapter 5

It has been three weeks science me and Jinx started dating each other. Tonight is the Hero's ball and Jinx told me that she wanted to surprise me with what she wears so I got ready and went to the Gym to wait for her at the door. After ten minuets she came racing down the hall and tackled me into a hug to keep her self from falling. She hugged me out of love though. She was wearing a lapis blue dress with starling silver accessories And her gorges smile was highlighted by the way she put up her hair she had it bobby pined behind her ears and wavy in the back. She was so beautiful and she didn't need to wear makeup I am so lucky.  She had the most graceful laugh. when it was time to dance I bowed reached out my hand. she curtsied and took my hand I lead her to the middle of the floor and we started to dance.

As we danced she laid her head on my shoulder and looked into my eyes. I looked into hers and without meaning to said I love you and kissed her right there. she kissed me back and said I love you too but she was shocked that I said it right there in the middle of everyone. I was shocked myself but we just kept on dancing . Then the Ball was cut short by an hour when the alarm sounded. we all raced to our rooms and changed into our suits. When we got to the command center it was not like we had seen it before. Everyone was rushing around looking at consuls printing reports and running diagnostics. We looked at the briefing and went straight to the transport. it was a valcary class fighter jet with the works. it had anti-missile cannons, shield generators, and imitating clock like you would see in the predator movies.

When we reached the landing site I immediately knew where we were. We landed in front of my old house I lived in with my mom and by myself when she died. The House was in ruins. I remember the smell of burning wood as the fire burned it down.
