6 the unseen surprise 6

the house was the same way as I had left it. my old bed was in the left hand corner of the room my mom's dresser was still here to witch was kind of odd because I had put it out back. Something was up and I could feel it. Atom went to step down before he could plant his foot I had him stop the board was loss and it wasn't the one I had left broken. someone was trying to kill us from what I had found under the floor board. it was a military grade high impact IED that could kill any one I a block radius. After I checked the rest of the foundation and floor boards I motioned for the others to come in. I sat on my bed and looked at the dresser and then the rest sat down in front of me. Jinx finally broke the silence when she asked how I knew this place so well. So I reached under the mattress and pulled out my mom and dad's dog tags and told them the truth that this was once my home.

the look of sorrow fills their face's as I put the tags around my neck. as I walked to the dresser I saw Jinx get up and follow at the dresser I found that it was still locked the way I had left it. I reached under the floor board I had left loss and found the old key for it. when I heard the click I opened the last draw and as I thought there they were. my dad's watch and my mom's ring were right wear I had left them and now I have to grab them and continue the mission. as I got the rest of the team up to speed on the briefing. They looked uneasy. We knew what we had to do. We got to the power plant on forth and main I saw the problem right away. A hooded figure was standing on the fifty-foot smoke stack. Whoever it was they were making a sever lightning storm and then I heard her voice. She rose into the air and gave us a warning to turn back before we got hurt but before I could reply she throw lightning at us I just had time to block it and we found cover.

We started by surveying the area for other enemy combatants after we saw she was alone jinx broke rank and charged before I could grab her she was ten feet away from the smoke stack and the flash of light hit were she was standing striking her down with a violent zap. When I had gotten to her she wasn't breathing so I started CPR and after a few pumps she was breathing. As I raced back to where the others were I could hear the storm gathering with electricity. I lad her down gently and told the others to give her medical attention I was so furious that I started to build up with energy myself. I looked back towards the clocked lady and started to run towards her and the next thing I knew I was throwing a bolt of electricity so fast she had only seconds to react. Then I turned to the rest of the team and we got back to the jet and flew home.
