Chapter 7

"Well that was interesting," said Jason as he helps K to walk Simon over to the bench. "ok next we have Daniel and Jason to the centre of the stage please" both of the boys went to the centre "wow wait a minute we said they could have a few minutes break," said the headmaster "no don't worry I'm good to go now" "go," said K without a second thought Jason dashes at Daniel, Daniel dodges to the right then go to push him down but Jason grabs Daniels leg and pull him down then jumps back Daniel get up. Daniel then shot a fireball at Jason's feet causing a black cloud of smoke to fill the room in confusion Daniel attacks Jason with a volley of punches but all that happens is the cloud is blown away and Daniel is pushed back by a sudden burst of wind.

Once the cloud had lifted Jason was standing there with what looked like a large Claymore in his hands "wow when did you learn how to summon that" Said Daniel

"About a week ago now" responded Jason "well get a look at this you should already know this one," said Daniel. Daniel then throws his hand out in front of himself and the sword that he summoned the first time he had a fight with Jason appears. "Dam when did you manage to learn to control that," said Jason "About a week ago as well," said Daniel with a grin, both boys lunged forward and their sword clashed sending shock waves through the air which shattered the protective barrier keeping the others safe "ok that enough now it getting too dangerous for you two to fight with your swords so I'm ending this match," said the headmaster brushing the glass of his coat.

The boys stop in their tracks "hey why did you stop us" said Daniel "take a look around and tell me why" the boys look around the gym "wow it a mess how did this happen" said Jason the headmaster "sighs" he then clicks his finger and in a flash the gym was back to the way it was before, Simon finally wakes up "I'm guessing I lost" he said "yes but you put up a good fight though" said Daniel. Daniel put away his sword and walks over to Simon when he reaches Simon he suddenly had that same feeling of being watched. "what is it Daniel" asks Simon as he walks over to him "nothing it was just my imagination" replied Daniel Simon raises one of his eyebrows then shrugs and then walk over to the rest of the group. "Oh look at the time ok everyone please go home for today," said the headmaster.

Daniel, Simon and Jason had just left the academy gates when they hear someone screaming Daniel starts running to the sound of the screams and what he find when he get there almost made him think blink in surprise. What he saw was shadows but not the normal once they were almost 3D in appearance then through one of the shadows he see a girl curled up in a ball on the floor Daniel rushes up to the nearest shadow near the girl and blasts it away with one of his fire balls and then stand between the shadows and the girl. When Simon and Jason had finely caught up Daniel had already taken out forty but there seemed to be no end to them they just kept coming and Daniel was starting to feel the strain he try to blast the shadow that was almost on him but nothing happened "oh no I'm out of power" said Daniel in between pants the shadow rushes Daniel and swipes at him and knocks him down.
