Chapter 8

Simon sees Daniel hit the floor and runs in to help him but suddenly Daniel just gets up but something was off about him he didn't look right Daniels's head then snaps up and the look in his eyes look empty Simon though the worst "no Daniel" said Simon then casts a wind shard on the shadow in front of him and they disappear but before Simon is able to cast another one on the next shadow Daniel start glowing the light from him his so bright it makes the closest shadow bust into flame to Simons surprise. Daniel's limp arms then shot up into the air and he summons his sword when the sword had finished forming in his hands the shadow started to grow darker they then shot to the one which was darkest and fused with it when they had all fused out of the dark mist came a monster of pure darkness it swipes at Simon and Jason steps in and blocks the claw-like thing "come on don't just stand there I'm going to distract this thing you go and get the girl" said Jason before Simon could move Daniel disappears and then the arm of the monster flies off and hit the floor near the wall of the academy as soon as it hit the barrier surrounding the academy it disintegrates.

The shadow swipes at Daniel and knocks him to the floor suddenly everything goes white "strange normal things go black when you get knocked out hm" said Daniel the sound of his voice echoes around him "I guess I'm dead then" said Daniel "no not yet you still have a sometime before that happens to you grandson" said an old but kind voice "were are you? Who are you?" said Daniel "well you already know the answer to your second question" said the voice " ok so your my grandfather but I don't have one so I'm not sure" said Daniel "to be precise I am you Grate X3 grandfather" said Daniel grandfather he then materializes in front of Daniel. "So now I know who you are where am I," said Daniel " you're in the world of the dragon my boy," said his grandfather "oh ok" replied Daniel "you're taking this very well," said Daniel grandfather " ok enough of this why am I here and how do I get back I have to help this girl she being attacked by" "shadow's," said Daniel but finished by his grandfather "yer but how do you know," said Daniel "I see what you see my boy" replied his grandfather " ok then so you know what they are then," said Daniel "what makes you think that" he replies " by the look of anger that's in your eyes at just the mention of them," said Daniel.
