Chapter 15: History

"Damn, you're crazy strong. No one told me that you're this strong." Gabriel smiled while looking at Alex. His body now full of injuries and his shirt was ripped off, revealing his upper body.

"I aim to please." Alex smiled before looking at the blood on his finger, it wasn't his, but Gabriel's. "I wonder what's the secret of your DNA?"

'Jude?'

{Already done my master. Archangel Gabriel's DNA is 73.82% is that of something remotely close to a human, and 26.18% is that of a Sephira}

"Sephira?" Alex muttered, only to frown and raise his hand and caught a blade between his index and middle finger.

Gabriel was looking with a serious look, though the smile never left his face as he gripped his sword tighter and tried to push it forward.

"You find that out with just a drop of blood? Scary~" Gabriel lost his smile. He was now planning on killing his opponent.

Alex smiled and tapped the blade, causing it to shatter. Gabriel's eyes widened as he retreated and looked at his blade, now only a handle in shock.

"I'm really curious about your memories now." Alex grinned, "I'm so curious, I want to thoroughly examine your soul. Just what kind of hidden information and knowledge are you hiding..."

Before Gabriel could even blink, he found his vision obstructed by Alex palm. He grabbed it and tried to break free, but he could only struggle because the most he could do was wiggle in the air.

"Don't resist, or it will hurt real bad." Alex grinned and used Sprit Magic to read his memories, only to frown when he felt Gabriel's soul seem to be resisting.

"I told you, don't resist." Alex's crimson eyes glowed as he forcefully pry inside Gabriel's head.

"Ah...ARRRGGHH!!!" Gabriel screamed as he felt his own soul getting torn apart, it hurts more than getting stab in the chest.

Alex frowned as he "downloaded" the information he wanted from Gabriel. He already has some speculations, but he didn't expect for it to be like that.

He looked at Gabriel who has drool falling from his mouth. He sighed and decided to fix his soul before throwing him in a completely black space.

Death is mercy for people like them. For Alex, death and physical torture are old fashion. Its much more cruel to trap them in a black space, where they can't see, feel, smell, hear, or taste anything. Also mess with their perception of time. Make them just stare at the blank space for all eternity. Where they can never die or even move a muscle.

He looked at Emi, who seems to be beating up Camael, and then to Sagiri who just killed Daniel. He descended and sat down on a pile of rubbles, digesting the information he received from Gabriel.

Angels came from a planet that was very far away from Entle Isla, its a planet on a completely different galaxy. Most first generation angels were human researchers while Gabriel himself is the head of security.

One day, a supernova along with a series of pandemics destroyed their planet despite their best efforts to save it, and during their research in trying to save their planet they made significant discoveries into immortality as Ignora, their leader and the so-called God, discovers the Tree of Life on their planet and the Sepirah.

The Sephira they discovered were the personification of Yesod and Malkuth, who disguise themselves as Kael(Yesods) and Sheekena(Malkuth), two Human researchers who want to help them avoid the destruction of their planet.

They discovered a genotype which could help fight against the pandemic. Although the research was making progress tensions between Ignora and Sataniel—another researcher and the original Demon King Satan, began increasing because their discoveries were into a new type of engineering not seen on their homeworld, genetic engineering.

After some investigating, Sataniel and Ignora found out that the Kael and Shekeena were not really humans, but instead a special form of human, which leads to the discovery of the Tree of Life on their planet's moon and the Sephirah children.

The researchers decide to continue their research on the moon. Eventually, Sataniel and Ignora ended up getting married, and it turns out they are Lucifer's parents.

Yes, Lucifer was born in the moon.

Anyway, the researchers finally discovered a way to turn someone into an Immortal after studying the Sephira and the Tree of Life—though its still incomplete.

However, the revolutionary discovery of immortality caused the inhabitants of their home world to fight over it as countries began to seclude themselves and begin demanding access to the research.

Despite this, the researchers manage to make progress on the immortality research until one day Ignora completes it. However, around that time their research facility was attacked.

It was the Sepirah, they wanted to destroy the immortality technology in order to prevent the humans from getting it.

Ignora managed to prevent the researchers from getting killed and Sataniel manages to fight off the Sephirah—how did he it is unknown even to Gabriel, Sephira are ridiculously strong. Though it might be because the Sephira are weakened due to the Tree of Life nearing the end of its lifespan.

The researchers then decide to spread the immortality gene among themselves.

However, this attack leads to countries from their homeworld to assume that a war had started due to the immortality and thus they began to start killing each other for possession of the immortality research.

Faced with this crisis, Ignora and the researchers ended up abandoning their homeworld—while riding on the moon.

Ten years pass, and as they leave their solar system, they use a long range telescope to find out that their homeworld was destroyed.

They ended up drifting to the Ente Isla(which only have one moon at that time), where they detect heavy magic similar to the Tree of Life, and decide to settle on a nearby planet, therefore causing it to now have two moons orbiting the planet.

The after the other worlder researchers arrived at Ente Isla, Sataniel wanted to live peacefully with the new humans but Ignora looked down upon the new humans and refused to be led by them.

Faced with no choice, Sataniel took his son Lucifer and fled with the main source of Angels immortality, the Yesod Sephira—the Sephira came from the Tree of Life of Ente Isla since the Sephiras of their original world were destroyed after the world died.

In order to take back the Yesod fragment, Ignora and the researchers began experimenting immortality on the humans of Ente Isla, turning them into angels.

But some humans were rejected humans by the Sephirah began turning into demons.

Sataniel along with Lailah went beserk after knowing this and freed the victims and formed a demon army to resist Ignora and her forces.

However, Ignora's forces were stronger and Sataniel lost his life in a battle with Ignora, and eventually his followers scattered to Ente Isla's red moon, which became the Demon World.

However, before their defeat, Lailah broke the Yesod Sephira into many fragments to avoid Ignora and the others from using it.

Not only that, it turns out that Gabriel was also planning on killing "God" or Ignora, but eventually gave up hope in face of Ignora's might.

But what surprised Alex was that, the angels were actually on the verge of extinction. Right now, there are only around a couple thousands of them left.

The reason being...they couldn't handle the life in Heaven. They started to feel useless, they aren't doing anything aside from staring at the clouds or watching humans.

Some chose to become fallen, while some chose to kill themselves.

"...That was some history." Alex muttered as he thought about the Angels and Sephira.

Should he go and help the Sephira? It doesn't really concern him so he won't bother, though if Lailah or someone whom he consider as family ask for help then he surely won't hesitate.

He looked towards Emi, who seem to be just playing around with Camael. If it was the Emi three days...three months? ago, then it would be impossible for her to play around with a First Generation Angel like this.

"Emi! End it right now, I've got something important to tell you!"

Emi did not turn to look at him, but just replied with a nod. In an instant, her Celestial Force, along with a trace of Demonic Force flickered as she instantly appeared behind Camael and stabbed him from the back.

Even though she wasn't at her Demon Form, she still has access to a limited Demonic Force.

She pulled her sword back as Camael glared at her with hatred, but in only lasted for awhile he began to fall down to the ground.

Emi hesitated on throwing a fireball at his corpse but ended up not doing it. She just turned her head towards Alex and flashed towards him.

"So?"

Alex was about to speak when he was interrupted by an explosion. Frowning, he turned towards the source and saw the Captains still fighting the angels.

He turned towards Emi.

"Can you...?"

Emi rolled her eyes before smirking. She turned towards the angels and darted towards them.

Alex just decided to watch her killing those angels. He tilted his head to the side, as he saw Yamamoto walking towards him.

"Thoughts?" Alex grinned.

Yamamoto hummed softly before sitting at the pile of rubbles next to Alex. "You know these....Angels?"

"Hmm," Alex nodded, "They're....pretty much our enemies at this point. Why, you wanna blame us for them attacking you?"

"Hmph! Do you think so low of us Alexander Gremory? It doesn't matter if they are looking for you and attack our place in the process, none of it are your fault, its theirs."

"That so?" Alex smiled, he turned to look at Emi who was slaughtering the angels before he stood up, "Whatever, I'll help you rebuild the place just because. Emi's almost done with them, let's go."

"Very well."
