"WHAT DO YOU MEAN GO TO YOUR ROOM?!" Sagiri exclaimed in shock as she glared at Alex.
Urara was giggling behind her, "Oh my, Sagiri you—"
"Shut up!" Sagiri glared at her partner, but it only made Urara laugh harder. "Shut up! Its not what you think!"
Alex thought of his words and actually felt a sheepish, so he decided to clear the misunderstanding. "I'm sorry about what I said earlier, please do not misunderstand. I wanted to say that my room can recover your Spirit Power much faster if you stay there."
"Seriously?" Sagiri turned her attention back to Alex as she forced her embarrassment down. "But how? As far as I know, only the main base of Hexagrams has the ability to quickly recover Spirit Powers."
'Hexagram?' Alex raised an eyebrow at the unfamiliar word—well, not really unfamiliar but...you know, 'Hexagram? So Six? That might also what the Three Great Families and the Three Great Forces are called, but its strange. At this time, one of the Three Great Families, the Yatahagane, should have already perished with the MC of Yuragi only one left. Maybe they kept the name? Or the Yatahagane still existed.'
Alex decided to think of that for later as he answered Sagiri's question. "Yup, but mine is just a weaker version. You can say its a large-scale and stronger version of the Talisman your partner used on you."
'Hah! As if! My sub-space was created with the Concept of Rejuvenation! There's no way there's anything that can be compared to that, unless it was another concept!'
"Wait." Urara narrowed her eyes, "How'd you know I used Talismans on Sagiri? Have you been watching us?"
Sagiri's eyes widened when she heard that and she stared at Alex's eyes directly.
But Alex did not answer and instead just said, "Anyway, we should hurry up and return. But we need someone to explain what happened here so Urara-san should stay."
"Wait! You're ignoring my question! And why do I have to stay?!"
Alex ignored her and just turn his gaze to Sagiri, "I can fly us there, it will take only a few seconds."
"Hm? I wanted stay here with Urara but—" she turned her gaze to her partner before shaking her head, "My recovery cannot be delayed. I might be called for another mission soon, I can't wait a week to recover my Spirit Power."
'They keep ignoring me.' Urara muttered in low voice, looking a bit down.
"Hmm, alright let's go then. Urara should be fine here all by herself." Alex said as he walked towards Sagiri.
'Huh?' Sagiri stared at Alex in confusion before her eyes widened in realization, 'He said that he can fly us back...I-Is he planning on....p-p-p-princess carry me?!'
She tried to take a step back, but it was already too late, for Alex was already standing in front of her. Accepting her fate, she closed her eyes.
She felt his hand on her wrist, as if he was putting something.
"Alright, let's go."
'Eh?' Sagiri opened one of her eyes and stared at Alex who now has his back facing her, 'Eeeehhh?!'
"Hm? What's wrong? Let's go already." Alex turned his head and saw that Sagiri's face was bright red, he couldn't help but raised an eyebrow before shaking his head.
"Why are you so red?" Alex smiled, "Perhaps you're thinking that I'd princess carry you? Hah! You're actually quite funny aren't you Sagiri-san? There's just no way that I'll princess carry someone I barely know for a day yeah?"
(AN: Wow, I just realized, 15 chapters and only a day has passed. I think I'll speed it up a bit, though I guess its okay? It has a slow-pace tag after all!)
"Pfft!" Urara covered her mouth to try and hold back her laughter. But as expected, its a bit too much for her to handle. "Hahaha!"
Sagiri's embarrassed face was replaced by fury as she took out a kunai and glared at the smiling Alex. "I'll kill you..."
"I'LL KILL YOU!" Sagiri shouted in anger and embarrassment and—with a speed impossible for someone who ran out of spirit power—she bolted towards the smiling Alex.
Using magic to strengthen himself, Alex caught the kunai between his palms as he cursed. He may be magically strong, but this human body was weak.
Perhaps its stronger than an average adult, but for Sagiri who was trained since she was young, he'll die without strengthen himself.
In the original, Maou struggled on lifting the box of food that Suzuno easily carried.
Alex thought that because Satan only trained in his Demon Body, that his strength disappeared when he's in his Human Body, because it was left alone and wasn't trained.
The changing of his body is not only a mere size reduction and his horn disappearing, but something more.
After all, how is it Emilia remained strong despite having lost her magic? However, Alex also has several solutions on this weakness of his.
First is Strengthening Magic, second is Evolution Magic, third is Metamorphosis Magic, and last is Training. Of course the last one is out, who'd spend a lot of time training when you can grow strong in an instant?
He could evolve his body until it reached the limits of human, or he could modify his own body to surpass the limits of humans.
Or, he could use strengthening magic, like what he was doing right now.
Looking at the embarrassed yet angry look of the ninja in front of him, Alex couldn't stop himself from grinning.
"Why are you so mad about? Aren't you the one who said something like "I don't trust either of you" or something? Why are you so angry that I won't carry you?"
Using Creation Magic, Alex turned the kunai into dusts that was scattered by the wind.
Sagiri jumped back, but to her shock, she didn't land, she just remained suspended in the air.
"W-What?"
Alex smiled at her, "Spirit Artifact: Sky Bracelet, it allows whoever wears it to use the ability of "flight" of course, I can still control it. I'm the creator after all."
Sagiri looked at the ruby red bracelet on her hand, and she got to admit it looks beautiful—not that! It look useful! Useful!
For someone like her whose body was trained for battle, something like beautiful accessories doesn't suit her.
"Anyway, stay there for a bit, I've got some business left." Alex told her before looking at the smiling Urara who look confused when he gaze at her.
"Wait! Let me down! Alexander Gremory!"
But Sagiri's shout was masterfully ignored as Alex walked towards Urara.
"W-What is it?"
He put an arm around her shoulder—causing the girl to blush—but Alex ignored it and leaned to her ear and whispered, "Hey, how about we make a deal?"
Blushing, Urara replied, "D-Deal i-is it? Umu, let me hear it, though if its something I can do no need for a deal, I'll do it immediately, its the least I can do for helping Sagiri and I."
Alex stealthily conjured a sound isolation barrier as he nodded, "Okay, Okay, so here it is, please don't report that I was here. Just say something like, a mysterious man—possibly from the Hexagram, dealt with the Hollow when we were about to lose."
Urara frowned as her blushed quickly disappeared, "You know I can't do that! I need to report "everything" that happened here! I may not look like it, but my loyalty to our organization is absolute."
Alex shrugged, "Oh well, I expected as much. I guess you don't want this artifact that can develop your body to match even THE Ameno Sagiri."
"Wh-What?! Wait! No, even so! I will still report tonight's incident." Urara tried her best to suppress her desire, but one can see from her expression that she really need it. "Besides, even if I agree, there's no guarantee that you have that kind of artifact."
Pointing at the floating Sagiri, he grinned, "I can make an artifact that lets human fly, something like an artifact to develop your body to a mature one is easy."
"B-But still!"
Alex put up a thoughtful expression before shrugging, "Oh well, now that I think about it, Sagiri will also make her report, so bribing you seems futile."
With that, he walked away.
But...
"Wait!"
'Easy.' Alex smirked for a second before turning around to face her with a bored look, "What is it?"
Urara bit her lips, 'That's right, Sagiri will also make her report. I don't need to lie, all I just need to say is; a mysterious man saved us, I don't who he is, I haven't seen him before. And its not technically a lie, so its fine I guess?'
"I-I will do it!" She said it! She really done it now, but there's no going back from this! "I won't tell what you look like, but only that a mysterious man saved us."
"Well, I'll agree only if you don't tell my connection with Sagiri."
"....fine."
"Let's shake it." Alex extended his right hand forward. Urara look at it for a moment before shaking it.
Alex pulled her closer before taking out a coin size device before he whispered to her ear. "Put it on your chest before you sleep."
With that, Alex levitated and fly away, controlling the device on Sagiri to follow him.
Aa for Sagiri's report, of course he'll deal with it later.
One might ask, why does he have this sort artifact? Well, its because in this world filled with women with ridiculously large breast, there are bound to be women who will get jealous and will also wish for it.
So he made this—and many other artifacts, so that he can have some bargaining chip in making a deal to get what he wants, without using hypnotism.
Because he was afraid that if he uses hypnotism frequently, he will lose trust on anyone who wasn't controlled or hypnotized by him.
And he doesn't want that, and he also wasn't optimistic enough to say that it will never happen. Because he knew it better than anyone.
The feeling of power, the feeling of being in control of everything, it was addicting. And it was not from the memories of Satan, but Alex.
Back in his previous life, he was someone like that before someone slap him back to being human. It wasn't something he wanted to experience again.
Having that power made him feel like he stopped being a human—he hated it.
So now in this new life, he will make sure to never become what he was before.
Third Chapter for today! Okay, I post this because I might not be able to update tomorrow, so I'll do it now. Hope you enjoyed it!
