Chapter 1 PT 2 "The First Sub-Challenge

"AHHHH!" the customer screamed. "How dare you!" the customer said as he picked up his sword with his other hand and charged me. I slice off his other hand and stab his stomach.

"Why are you doing this!" I say to the man as coughs up blood and dies.

"Damn, you killed him." Arthur said as he looked at me.

"I didn't mean to, I just wanted to make sure he wasn't a threat." I said to Arthur but the truth is I figured he would die.

"RAHHH!" We hear as tall big man with blonde hair that goes down to his chin runs out of the building as well, covered in blood and killing Orcs with his bare hands.

"Wow he killed all the Orcs with his bare hands, that's crazy." Arthur says as he looks at the man in shock.

"Yeah I wonder what his stats are." I said.

"Who the hell are you guys?" the man says as he looks at me after killing the final Orc.

"We should ask that to you." I said to him.

"What the hell did you say!" he says agrilly.

"Calm down, we got off on the wrong foot here. Let's start over: how did you kill those Orcs and what happened to your sword? Did you not get one in the tutorial?" I said before he got too angry.

"The system tried to give me one but I didn't need it." The man said.

"Wow you're pretty strong." 'Damn he got 100 coins for killing the Orc and he was strong enough to kill an Orc without a sword.'

"Hey we got company." Arthur said as he cut down a Goblin and an Orc. I kill a Goblin and 2 Orcs.

'I'll save this for later.' I think as I kill 7 Goblins and an Orc, getting a new skill.

"Ah it seems you guys are pretty strong, well how about this." The voice says.

I look around confused until I realize a huge Orc about 12 feet tall slams Arthur with a club sending him into a wall.

"Arthur!" I yelled.

"And you two whoever kills each other first gets an exclusive skill." the voice said.

'Damn I just got a new skill so I don't need it but it seems he thinks differently.' I think as the man charges me. I dodge easily and try to stab him but he dodges.

He charges me and throws an overhead kick. I easily dodge but he destroys the ground under me. He runs and grabs the customer's sword. I used my new skill Fire Magic and shot a fist sized fireball to his foot, making his foot turn into a blaze. He rips off his shoe and sock showing a blistered foot. I encase my sword in fire and continue fighting.

"Damn you I'll rip you to pieces!" the man says as his eyes turn red.

'What the hell? He's so much stronger; this must be his attribute.' I think as I dodge everything now that I can't trade blows with him.

'Of course such a good ability has to have a weakness. Okay so his Attribute made him stronger, but by how much.' I think as I continue to dodge his attacks. 'Hmmm if i had to make a guess I would assume his attribute increases his strength by maybe 50%.' I thought as I continued to dodge.

I stomp the ground causing ice to go out from my foot and freezing the man's feet to the ground dashing toward him.

"You think this is enough to stop me." the man said, jumping out of the ice and cuts my throat

'Damn my mana stat is too low I couldn't finish him off.' I thought as I closed the cut in my throat with fire.

'I can only increase mana by 1 but that should be enough.' I think as I prepare my sword dashing toward the man. He swings his sword toward my head. I duck and stab toward his kidney that he easily dodged. He slices to my neck from the left that I block with my sword. My sword cracked because of his strength so I filled in the cracks with ice. We both deliver a flurry of stabs and slashes with both of us getting minor cuts.

[VITAL STAB]

Arthur came up from behind the man and stabbed him through the heart.

"Ugh I'm not done yet." The man says coughing up blood and kicking Arthur in the face.

'Damn Arthur is injured from fighting that huge Orc.' I said dashing toward the man. The man dodged and punched my stomach, making me cough blood.

"H-heh yes I'll kill you first." The man said to me as he raised his foot up to crush me. As he was about to slam his foot down Arthur's sword cut off his head.

"Come back from that bitch!" Arthur yelled as he picked me up.

"Well done, we did not expect you to defeat him as promised we will give the one who killed him a skill." the voice said.

'Oh well it's nice Arthur got a skill.' I thought in disappointment.

"However we were impressed by the one named Atlas's growth, so we will give him a skill as well." the voice said.

'Oh? I didn't expect this.' I thought as I started to get excited.

"To Arthur we give the Future Sight skill you can see up to 5 minutes in the future. And to Atlas we give the Telekinesis skill." the voice said.

"Oh, that's good." I accidentally said out loud.

"Yeah mines not bad either." Arthur said with a grin.

"Well I would take cover if I were you." the voice said.

"Huh." I let out before a huge gust of wind came from above my head.

"Wha-" Arthur let out before a dragon blew fire right toward us.

I jumped through a window and sealed up the building with ice before the flames burst through the building, burning everything around me and burning my arm to blisters.

'Heat Resistance is perfect!' I think to myself as fire continues to burn me. 'Damn it's not enough probably because it's low level.' I think as the fire burns my legs as I try to put it out with ice magic. Eventually the fire stops coming and I see the whole city on fire and buildings completely turned to ash including the one I was in. I knew Arthur was dead. I barely survived and I have Heat Resistance and Ice Magic. I ran for 15 minutes after I did my best to treat my wounds, leaving me with only a little bit of scars. I also burnt my wound in my throat completely closed. I found a place that's not on fire and I settled there. I walked into the building with my sword ready to cut down anything. I look over to my right and I see an old man.

"G-get outta here." the old man said with a sword in hand. "If you wanna live, don't come near us. All my stats are level 5." The old man says as I speed past him and put my sword to his throat.

'Liar.' He lied about his stats. "I'm really not in the mood, say another word and you're dead." I said with a blank expression. The building was a casino. I sat down on a couch in the middle of the room. "Who is 'us'."

"W-what are you-" the old man was saying before I cut him off.

"You said 'don't come near us.' Who is us." I said ready to kill.

"O-oh me and my daughter." The old man said scared.

"Where is your daughter?" I said in a demanding tone.

"She is in the back." He said, trembling.

I could tell he was lying so I unscrewed a nail in a table using my sword then I used Telekinesis to shoot the nail past the old man and it cut his cheek.

"Ah wait, please don't kill me!" The man said with terror.

"Why shouldn't I?" I asked, taking my sword out and walking toward him.

"I-I can give you weapons." He said truthfully.

"What kind of weapons?" I ask putting my sword to his head.

"Graded weapons, l-like that sword, my skill Quality Check can see that it's an F-rank weapon." The man said truthfully.

"So you can get me better weapons?" I ask curiously.

"Y-Yes my attribute Blacksmith, allows me to make graded weapons. M-My best weapon I can make is F-rank but my skill is only level 1 but I can probably make it better if I l-level up."

'Hmmm that would be useful but he just told me his attribute. I can just copy it now.'

[SYSTEM]

'Damn seems I do have to keep him alive.' "Fine, tell you what I'll take you and your daughter with me, you two can level up and I'll keep you safe, in return you give me your weapons."

"Okay thank you sir." the man said

"No!" A girl's voice said. A girl about 17 or 18 came out and slapped me. "We're not going with you!" the girl yelled.

"Miya! Say another word and I'll slap you." The man exclaimed.

"Miya huh, what is your attribute?" I ask demandingly.

"Why would i tell-" Miya started to say.

"Miya! Mister the thing is her-" the man yelled.

"I'd like to hear it from her." I told him angrily.

"I don't have an attribute." she said, rolling her eyes.

"What…" I asked. 'My attribute awakened as soon as I got out of the tutorial and the guy I fought had his attribute too, so does this old man so why?' I thought with suspicion.

"Yes mister the fact is-'' the man started to say.

"Well it seems you're ready for the next challenge so lets get on with-" the voice was saying before I cut him off.

"Of course, the next challenge, why don't you shut the hell up you bastard!" I yelled. "What is your goal, why do you do this, why did you come to our world!" I yelled at the voice as the man looked at me in shock.

"Wow all the other voices said you were special but wow talking back to us even after you know what we are capable of." The voice said smugly. "But you see even with max stats you wouldnt touch even the weakest voice." The voice said cockily. the voice said.

"I'll surpass the system, I'll surpass the voices and I'll kill you!" I said confidently as Miya looked at me with ecstasy and the man, with terror.

"Heh I like your smug, let's see if you can back it up." the voice said.

'Bastard! It doesn't matter, after all I'll kill you one day!' I thought in anger as the voice left.

"Don't talk to the voices like that." The old man said.

"Why the hell not, they killed my friend, killed everyone in my town, they have killed millions and probably even billions on this planet." I exclaimed to the man in anger.

"That's why! Sir they killed billions they can kill you too!" the man said.

'I know he's right but I can't let them get away with everything.' I thought in disappointment.

"My name is Reginald, you can call me Reggie." The man said with pity on his face.

"Okay... Reggie." I say as the building begins to rumble, the challenge is beginning now

'Damn my stats really are nerfed.' I thought as I looked at my stats but my thoughts were cut off.

"Hello. Everyone on this planet, the first challenge will now begin." the voice said.
