"Sweetheart, are you alright?"
Dimitri gave her a strange look.
"What?" Blanca asked and looked around.
He tapped his forehead and gestured for her to read his mind. 'Are you hearing what I'm hearing?''
Yes,' Blanca replied with the same confusion. Dimitri can hear her too, 'Ellon told me something.'
Dimitri nodded.
'So I'm not crazy?''
No, you're still crazy, Blanca. But take solace in the fact that you're not the only one.' He said and gestured to look around. Then the room faded before her eyes, swallowed by thick fog. A high-pitched ding chimed in the distance.
"A waking trance," Dimitri said.
"Waking trance?"
