It's true. Peace of mind was the key to good sleep. He used to worry about his life and the fact that he couldn't have children. Being a king for a powerful empire required him to prepare his successor. Without an heir of his own, he would have to choose one of his relatives. The devil asked his servant about Emmelyn to check if the girl had had dinner. He was surprised to hear that she was caught trying to escape her room by climbing down from her window, thirty meters from the ground, and was now being kept in the small dining room with five guards keeping an eye on her closely.

"She tried to escape? How?"

"Uhmm.. she used her bedsheets to make rope and climbed down from her window when it was already dark. She almost got away..."
