Chapter 25

"I heard you went to have breakfast with Carina ?" Cecilia asked as she poured a cup of tea . Thomas smiled and hummed .

"Did you have a nice time ?"

"Yes . We talked about a lot of things . We hadn't seen each other in four years ." He sighed .

"Did you talk about Charles ?"

"Yes", he lied . He couldn't tell his wife that he conspired with Carina to capture Lyanna off guard .

"Something happened today", Cecilia frowned . Thomas urged her to go on .

"Charles...he became like 'that' again ." Her voice was barely audible . Thomas's brows furrowed .

"Did they call the doctor ?"

"He didn't let the doctor inside . He locked himself...again ." They both sighed .

"I wish things would go back to normal . Like they were when we were little ." She put her head on Thomas's shoulder .

"Don't worry so much . Things will get better ." Thomas smiled . But he didn't know everything was about to get worse from there .
