WHO IS PROTECTING WHO?

" Hold on..." I could feel the tension in the air grow thicker as Rowan and Austin faced each other. I was startled by Rowan's voice as I didn't know how long he had been behind me. If he had been behind me for a while, why didn't Austin say something before. Instead, he had offered me the option of running away with him.

" Yes. I said what I said. What are you going to do about that? Huh?" Austin foolishly challenged Rowan. "It's about time you stopped keeping her in here like a prisoner." The calm, collected Austin i knew while growing up changed into an angry, reckless person. He saw Rowan as his enemy. The hateful intense glare in his eyes made it clear that he was ready to fight if Rowan made a move on him.
