Chapter 8 - Anonymous

Vicky opened his eyes, but this time he was on his bed, for a moment he thought he was in his room, but to his dismay, the answer was no.

Although the location looked like his room something was strange about the place.

So he got up from bed to examine the place, he went up to the door and grabbed the door knob to open the door. While doing so he saw the strange mark on his hand as earlier in the 16th century every community used to have as an identification mark.

"This mark is strange," said Vicky

Then he opened the door and darted back in astonishment. He was in some kind of space where everything was floating in the air. It looked like zero gravity out there.

There he saw several platforms floating at a distance apart.

The complete scenario looked like the earth has broken into pieces and now each n every part was floating in space. Some parts contained mountains, rivers, and jungle together, and some contained buildings, sculptures, and many places that could be seen.

Another thing to his surprise was there was no sign of any person and also the space was deprived of sunlight. Hence each n every part or platform floating was illuminated by a blue glowing orb placed on an iron stand.

Everything looked mysterious and he had never been to such an anonymous place neither he had seen such a place in his dreams.

"move forward and jump on the platform beneath you," an Anonymous voice said to Vicky

" Wait, who are you, and where am I?" asked Vicky

" do as I say and you will get your answers," an Anonymous voice said.

Vicky had no option but to obey him. He summoned his nerves and gulped, he leaped towards the platform beneath him. His eyes were closed as he thought his legs would hurt from jumping from a long distance.

Then he opened his eyes and saw he was slowly going down and then landed on the platform softly.

"So this place has very less gravity as compared to earth I see," Vicky muttered to himself.

Then Vicky walked further on the platform and he was able to walk normally as a person walking on earth.

" ok, so the parts and platforms floating have proper gravity within itself, gravity is less in between the space," Vicky concluded in his mind.

" You guessed it right," said the anonymous voice.

" Wait you can read my mind as well, who are you? show yourself" said Vicky.

A fog of blue and black fume began to appear in front of his eyes and there appeared an anonymous guy over his head.

His appearance was like a man but he lacked eyeballs in his eyes. It looked like some kind of black spirit.

"Welcome to the realm 0.5," said the anonymous guy

" realm, what kind of realm is this?" asked Vicky

"You are in between life and death, where people are alive that is termed as the realm 1 and where dead people stay is termed as realm 0," said the anonymous guy.

"And why am I here," asked Vicky.

"I didn't bring you here, you brought yourself over here," said the anonymous guy.

"what! how could be this possible?" said Vicky

" You have a power called the soul- teleportation, with this power your subconscious mind can teleport your soul to any location he wants, irrespective of time also, which means your soul can travel in the past but not in the future. But there is only one drawback of this power," said the anonymous guy.

" What is that," asked Vicky.

" If your soul bears injury then it will reflect on your body in realm 1 as well," said the anonymous guy.

" that implies if I die at that place I will die in real," said Vicky.

"exactly," said the anonymous guy

" If my subconscious mind has brought me here, then definitely it has something to do with you," said Vicky.

" yes, it has, you have some unanswered questions in your mind, which people in realm 1 can't answer. So you are here. we can see the past of any person since we are in between life and death." said the anonymous guy.

" So where did I get this power," asked Vicky.

" This power is unique and it can only be transferred from one person to another, you got this from your parents," said the anonymous guy.

"I saw a town in my dream named San Briganza, what do you know about it?" asked Vicky

" It's a cursed town, nobody lives there. That town is full of black spirits." said the anonymous voice.

" How did that town become cursed and what was the curse?" asked Vicky

" That town 20 years ago was the happiest in the realm 1. People in that town were very pure-hearted. There, the devil saw the opportunity, Devil doesn't have a body in realm 1 but he can affect people's minds. Devil wanted to acquire a body of his own with all of his black powers to rule the realm 1." said the anonymous guy

" You mean earth," asked Vicky

" yes, so he gave greed to people and also fulfilled some of them, to lure people towards himself, and he succeeded as well. Some people started worshiping him. Against fulfilling their greed, the devil made them sign a contract that mentioned that their soul will serve him for eternity after their death." said the anonymous guy

" hmmm, clever of him," said Vicky.

" Tell me more about it, then what happened next". asked Vicky

" Wait, what is happening, why is this place shaking?" said Vicky

" No, no no no, I want to know a complete truth, wait where you are going," said Vicky

As the guy disappeared, Vicky tried to jump towards him, but then he woke up in his bed. He returned surprisingly.

"damn that involuntary power, I would have known a complete truth if had stayed there a little longer," said Vicky to himself.

Then he checked the mark on his right hand and it was right there.

As Vicky stood up there was a knock on the door asking " may I come in?"

"yes," said Vicky

" Jenny what are you doing here?" asked Vicky.
