Chapter 6

Logan had walked into the classroom as he had seen how Aurora was already busy with some work as he smiled and laid his computer down.

"Morning, Aurora," Logan said as Aurora smiled.

"Morning, Logan. How are you?" Aurora asked.

"Fine, thanks. And you?" Logan asked.

"Swamped," Aurora said as Logan looked at the work she was buried in.

"Looks like quite a bit of work. What is this you're studying for? Human resources again?" Logan asked as Aurora shook her head.

"No, um... EMCRTH. Essentials of Marketing and Customer Relations in Tourism and Hospitality," Aurora said.

"Is this your last exam?" Logan asked as Aurora had nodded her head.

"Yeah. Then we have 2 more next month in January and then again in February," Aurora said.

"Assignments in between?" Logan asked.

"I think we have 2 more assignments to do and 2 group activities then we're done. But we have our work split into two. So, in March we start our new modules that go up until June," Aurora said.

"Hard work hey? Didn't think a private college up in Richmond would be this complicated," Logan said as Aurora had nodded.

"Yeah. But it's fun," Aurora said as she saw how Gabriella came into the classroom.

"Do we have to be here? I actually need to study and in here it is not..."

"You don't have to be here. You can go and sit somewhere else," Aurora said.

"I'm definitely not saying no," Gabriella said as Aurora got a text.

"Sorry. I thought the sound was off," Aurora said.

"You coming?" Gabriella asked.

"No. Noah said he saw me coming in here and wants to talk to me during his break. So, I'm staying here," Aurora said.

"Okay then. Good luck. I'll see you with our break then," Gabriella said as she had gone out.

Aurora smiled as she saw how all of the other students had come in as well. She exhaled as she saw how a lecturer came in while he had prepared for his lesson.

"Madame, are you okay?" he asked as Aurora saw what was happening.

"Yes I'm fine," Aurora said.

"I'm Joseph. I think I've seen you once before," Joseph said as Aurora shook her head.

"Not possible, Sir. I'm not one of your students. I'm from a different program," Aurora said.

"Oh okay. What program?" Joseph asked.

"Tourism," Aurora said.

"Tourism? That's good. Guys, you are all from this program, right? Since I just want to make sure," Joseph said.

"Yes, we are, Sir," Logan said as Aurora had put in her earphones and started with her class.

Going forward with her day, Aurora had wondered why Noah wanted to see her during break. As she finished her class she saw as Noah came into the classroom. She smiled at him as she had gone out and closed the door.

"Hey, was surprised to get your message. How are you?" Aurora asked as she gave Noah a hug.

"I'm pretty good. Let's go outside," Noah said as they went through the student lounge and had gone down the stairs.

"What's wrong?" Aurora asked.

"What I should be asking you. I hear you are kinda in a bit of a difficult position," Noah said as Aurora looked at him.

"How come?" Aurora asked.

"With Logan and your... Crush," Noah said as Aurora exhaled.

"Olivia spoke to you. It's okay. I'm not mad. But it's not the best situation to be in. I'm trying to deal with it on my own way, but I can't. It's hard," Aurora said.

"Have a test you need to study for this weekend?" Noah asked.

"Not at all," Aurora said.

"Tell your father I will be picking you up Saturday at 10. Time you get out of the house. And I know exactly what to do regarding your crush as well. Saturday. 10am. No excuses," Noah said as he was off.

Aurora had smiled while wondering how her life would end with the situation that she was in. Yes. She was in love. But was it with the right person? Or did she fall in love to be taught a lesson?
