Celestial Blood Moon: Part 3

The blast of from the energy from Caroline's magic sent me flying. It wasn't a fatal blow but it was enough to knock the wind out of me. I wake up to my moms voice. "Dahlia wake up!" I hear her scream. My eyes flicker open almost on command. I open my eyes and through my blurry vision I see my mom standing over me, guarding me. My mom must have alerted me the royal guards and my dad because they are surrounded me where I lay. My mom is holding some relic in her hand that seems to act as a shield. This act seems to make Tobias and Caroline go even more crazed. "Dahlia are you okay?!" I hear my dad ask. "I'm...I'm fine, it just knocked the wind out of me" I manage to say. "Oh thank God, that was a close call" my dad said. "I should have known that you; Emma and Ethan would protect this evil spawn" Tobias spat. "Tobias, you're wrong! She's an innocent in this stupid blood feud!" my mom says coldly. "Caroline, what does any of this have to do with you?!" my mom asked. "Shut up bitch! If you must know, your precious little sister Genevieve, killed my twin Tynan, the Vampire kings fated mate!" Caroline screeched at my mom. "Mom it's no use, they are to driven by hate and grief, they won't listen" Dahlia said regaining her strength. "Listen to your daughter Emma she's right" Tobias said harshly. "Mom, dad, if I have to die to make this right, I will" Dahlia said defeated. "Dahlia, that's very noble of you but they won't stop until every last person in the pack is dead, man, woman and child" my dad said. "What do we do?" Dahlia asked with tears in her eyes. "All we can do is buy you time, until your transformation is completed" my mom said. You can tell my mom is desperately trying to figure out what to do but even through all this chaos she's focused and unwavering. "Dahlia, if anything happens to your father or I, just know we love you very much and to keep on living life to the fullest" my mom said reaching her hand out to help me to my feet. "Mom, dad I can't loose either of you" Dahila said sobbing. "Dahlia, nothing in this world lasts forever. Know, you were the very best of what life had to offer" my dad said. I grab my parents in a hug, I never want to let go but fate has made the choice for me. As I'm trying to embrace my parents for what seems like the last time, my destiny takes hold of me and my transformation starts to take place. I can see my guardian wolves standing guard outside of my moms relic shield. "Stay strong" I hear the guardians say. "Dahlia, the time has come" Raven Star said. "It's time" I say in a whisper and my parents grow even more intense. "Stay strong baby, we are right here" my mom says. "Hate to break up your short lived reunion but it's time to die!" Caroline yells. "Hurry Caroline!" Tobias urgently says. Caroline starts to throw what seems like a never ending assault on my moms relic shield; I hope it holds, I need more time so I can help. I can feel pain, growing deep inside of me. I feel like I'm going to be ripped in half. "It hurts!" Dahlia yells. Everyone stays silent and stays focused on the threat right in front of us. It feels like my bones are breaking and my body uncontrollably moves like I'm a contortionist. I can fell the bones in my hands, legs and ribs break. The pain is so severe I can no longer make any sounds. I listen to my spirit wolves and I embrace the pain and stay strong. I can feel my spine break and contort. I can hear Caroline and Tobias grow more upset. "Kill her Caroline!" Tobias screams. Caroline picks up her speed of assault on my moms shield. Hold on mom I think to myself. "We can't let her shift!" Tobias says again. "I'm trying!" Caroline yells. I thought the pain couldn't get any worst, I was wrong. I can feel claws grow out the tips of my fingers and toes ripping off my human nails completely off and shredding them. I let out a blood curdling scream. "Hold on Dahlia!" my dad yells as he comes over to me, in my unrecognizable form. Something half human, half wolf. "It won't be much longer now!" my dad says as he cradles me in his arms trying to comfort me. "The...The...pain...dad..." Dahlia can barely manage to speak. "I know baby it's almost over" my dad replied. The sky glows red and a rush of energy is pushed through my body and the pain intensifies. I scream bloody murder again. "Caroline!" Tobias yells. Caroline screams and sends a final assault on the shield. "Emma no!" I can hear my dad yell. Caroline's assault shatters the shield and my mom is sent flying, I see my mom land on the ground lifeless. "Mom No!" Dahlia screams. Before Tobias or Caroline can send any additional attacks, a huge concussion wave from my transformation sends everyone around me flying. I can see fur starting to sprout on my body. While the fur is piercing my tattered skin; what looks like lighting, strikes down from the blood moon straight onto me. Be it magic, spirit wolves, or energy, the beam of light from the moon pulls me, into a levitating type state to complete the transformation. I can still hear the chaos around me and Caroline tries to attack me again but this time it's futile, as this strange beam of light shields me from her assaults. "Damn it, No! Caroline yells. "Do something!" Tobias yells. "I'm trying, I can't break the magic!" Caroline yells. My body contorts again and again. I can see my hands and feet grow into paws. I can feel the base of my spine grow into a tail. All I can do is scream to ease the pain. Caroline and Tobias try to grow closer but their efforts and murderous state were interrupted. I completed my transformation and I let out an earth shattering growl which sent another concussion sound wave towards them knocking them down. The growl was so intense, it made pack members and underlings stop dead in their tracks.
