The Auguste (Indefinite Hiatus)

I didn't have a memory of who I am when I woke up. I don't know why, but I seem to have been able to think like an adult person the moment I was born. I'm smarter than everyone my age, but I think that will quickly change soon. A robotic voice, which is the tutorial bot, said that I was created for many purposes, but above those is the purpose of growing stronger until i am the strongest. I don't know who my creator was, since he's dead, but I will find out on my own. I am Auguste, a clown trying to find his own purpose, not the ones given to him, and this is my story of how I became the god above gods. _____________________ I am not that good of a writer, and quite self conscious also. If you can, please point out my mistakes so that I can fix it for later readers. Anyhow, enjoy the novel!

Chapter 27: A Petty Baby and his Mutton

We stayed in an inn in a village somewhere around the end of the countryside. We stayed here to rest for the day.

It's been 10 days since we departed from the safe house, and so far we have only been able to travel across the countryside. Nothing happened much, Alexander just taught us how to hunt animals for food, and basic survival skills like which berry would kill us and which would not.

I walked down the inn, which has 4 floors, and went to the lobby where a tavern was built. I ordered some mutton and an orange juice for lunch, and since most of my siblings were asleep, I was able to go alone without anyone following me. It's usually dangerous here in the tavern since most thugs and hunters come here to fill their stomachs, but they only come here around dinner time and no one can do anything as long as Alexander is with us, or Terra… she's pretty rough with the people around here. God, she just cusses so much. Did she learn the forbidden knowledge of curses?

Anyway, I took a sit on the baby chair, jumping a little as I am too small, and looked at my meal with a very satisfied smile.

'Damn, this is going to fill my stomach today!' I said in my thoughts as I sliced the mutton on the plate with the knife given to me by the tavern and ate it with my fork.

I didn't care whether it tasted normal or not, this is delicious to me! Though I wish I had some rice, I usually eat with rice. It's very good for filling your stomach.

As I was eating my mutton, I saw two pretty faces coming into the tavern. One was a boy and the other, a girl. They were both teens from what I can see, and they seem to be cultivators as I can see the condensed mana around their dantian. They seem to be angry though.

I ignored them and simply ate my mutton, and drank some orange juice from time to time.

Then, as I was minding my own business, a chair came flying towards my small, baby table, pushing it to the wall and my mutton dropped to the ground with a loud *plop*.

I was stunned, then my face slowly grew angrier, and looked around. I saw the two teen cultivators going against two thugs, who are very simple people who don't have any knowledge of mana whatsoever. I saw the thugs had their table missing and the male teen cultivator seems to have thrown it.

Slowly, tears came out of my eyes as I saw my precious mutton on the ground.

"Waaaahh! Waaaaahh!"

"Huh!? Harassed your girlfriend!? Are you f*cking menta—wait, what's that?"

Everyone turned around to see me bawling my eyes out. I was flailing my arms around, clearly throwing a tantrum. And in each flail, I would make the air around distort due to the force I was creating. Soon, the floor below me slowly caved in and everything was just being pushed away.

Looking at the overpowered baby that I am, everyone slowly backed away in the corner in the opposite direction of me.

The two thugs then ran towards me, as they said, "Shit, we need to calm this screaming toddler, and fast! The tavern is going to be destroyed!"

"Uh-huh, you got me, dude!"

They both ran but only got flicked away because I was flailing my arms around. They were shot to the wall, bleeding all over.

*Woosh!* *Boom!*

Everyone, I mean the normal people, ran to the door of the tavern, only to get blocked by a barrier.

"I'm not calming down unless someone gives me a new and fresh-made mutton!" I yelled.

The male teen cultivator looked around, and saw my plate of mutton on the ground with the orange juice spilled all over. And then he realized what happened. He threw the table towards the table of the crying toddler and destroyed his meal!

The female teen cultivator then looked at him and said, "Look, you made him cry! Fix it!"

While he hated to say this but, this time, it is indeed his fault.

I created the force of only 1000 times stronger than the normal man, and the teen cultivator is already having a hard time going towards me for the fear of being hit like those thugs.

He remembered my words from earlier, and immediately went to the kitchen of the tavern and got to cooking a new mutton for the crying toddler.

"Where is the meat stored!?" He asked the workers in the inn, frantically.

"Uh, around here! Come with me!"

Then the teen cultivator cooked the mutton, and fast. He professionally cooked it like a top chef from the royal palace, and in a few minutes, the mutton was cooked perfectly. He went out with the plate of mutton and an orange juice on a tray.

Sweat dripped from his forehead to the floor as he carefully walked towards the toddler who's hysterically crying 5 meters away from him. The floor around the baby was already destroyed by the force he was creating. Even he, a foundation establishment expert, cannot fight against this baby. Stunned as he was, he had always been fast to adapt to things.

Forming a barrier around him, he steeled himself as he walked towards the boy.

Countless strikes hit his barrier but he prevailed, and finally gave the baby his mutton, though he was still holding it. A short pillar of earth shot from the ground and stopped right in front of the toddler. The toddler stopped crying and gestured for him to put the tray down the earth table he presumed the baby created.

"Thanks! I appreciate that!" The toddler said in a sudden change of emotions, then started eating the mutton as if the destruction around him wasn't there.

The owner of the tavern patiently waited for the toddler to finish his meal, and the male teen cultivator stood by his side.

Then the owner slowly walked towards the baby, and said, "Uh, young master, can you perhaps fix this…? Or at least pay to fix this, yeah, yeah…"

I looked at him, and took out 10 golden bars that I found in the destroyed goblin village months ago, and dropped them on the ground as I said, "Is this enough to pay for the damages?"

The owner bowed down frantically as he said, "Yes, yes, this is enough, young master! Thank you for such generosity!" He kneeled to pick up the golden bars. This might not seem much but these 10 golden bars are more than enough to buy one more inn, and still have some money left! He could get 2 Platinum Notes for these!

Then, I saw Vane walk down the stairs, and said, "I heard a commotion going around here, what happened?"

I then yelled as pitifully as possible and pointed at the teen cultivator on the corner of the tavern, "He destroyed my meal while I was minding my own business for no reason, at all!"

Yeah… I am the pettiest baby alive right now.

Vane looked in the guy's direction, and the teen cultivator started sweating bullets.

'A Soul Detachment cultivator!? How the f*ck do you find someone like that in the countryside?!' He thought, practically scared for his life.

'Heh, Vane's not gonna hurt that guy, probably scare the sh*t out of him, that's what he'll do.' I thought in sadistic glee.

Vane walked towards the teen cultivator, who saw the girl who was scurrying away from him, and then the albino teen said, "What's your name, fellow cultivator?"

"U-Uh, my name is Aiden, senior!" Whoo, he forgot his name there for a moment.

Vane looked down on him with very cold and frightening eyes, and Aiden started sweating bullets faster and faster.

Vane leaned closer to him, scaring him further as he was afraid whether he would hurt him or not.

Then, with a smile, Vane said, "Don't do that again, got it? If Auguste wasn't so kind, he would've hit harder. Believe me, he's a lot stronger than he looks."

'You don't think I know that by now!?' Is what he wanted to say, but in his situation right now, he could get killed.

"Y-Yes, senior! I promise to never do it ever again!" He nodded and yelled nervously.

"Good." Vane said, then as he looked at Aiden, he saw a badge on his waist having the same image as the logo of the Coexistence Sect. A dragon's face on the top symbolizes the monsters, a humanoid head with two animal ears that symbolizes the demi-humans, and a normal-looking human head.

"By any chance, are you from the Coexistence Sect?" Vane asked curiously.

Aiden tried to shake his head slowly but nodded at the end.

"Oh! We're from the Coexistence Sect, too! But we haven't registered as proper disciples yet."

That single sentence made Aiden relax, and he fell to the ground after being released from all the pressure from earlier.

This is the weirdest chapter I've written so far...

Anyway, hope you enjoyed the chapter, drop some stones and reviews, stay well, and as always, thank you for reading!
