Surya used to be a hero with lowest power working with Superhero association. Due to his low power level the other superheroes used to make fun of him and humiliated him when they got any chance. He suffered and also had keep his head low to make earning for his family. For 7 years he endured until supervillains attacked him and his family. He fought the villains and failed. The superheroes told that they would investigate rather than bringing justice. Surya took it upon himself and brought death to those villains. The heroes caught him and neutralize the powers inside him. He was thrown into a wild world through dimensional gate. After 5 years of surviving he returned through a rogue gate when he decided to be an existence who will make both superheroes and supervillains tremble. "Does the host wish to bind with Anti hero system?" said a voice. Thus begins his anti hero journey.

The perilous journey

Surya along with Nightingale is travelling in the Rehara forest for days. They are just in the middle of the forest where the dangerous monsters roam. Surya wanted earn some points by slaughtering the monsters.

He took a look at the new skills that have been unlocked in the shop. Two skills caught his attention which are in his range of purchase. One is a passive skill "Max Fear Immunity" and second is an active skill "Dark Cannon"

Many blasts of Dark Magic is thrown towards the enemy which would decrease 1000 HP every minute and cause multiple debuffs like blind, corrosion and paralysis.

When he looked at Nightingale she was sleeping peacefully while he kept watch. It has been nearly two weeks since they started the journey. The reason he did not use his flight ability is because he needed to hide his powers to surprise the enemies.

After 1 hour he started hearing huge ground breaking sound. When he put his hand on the ground he came to realize the danger they were going to face. Nearly 10000 beasts are running towards them. It is a monster outbreak that happens in the forest. He decided not to take any risk because he doesn't know what level those beasts are in and their stats.

He woke Nightingale from her sleep. "What happened Surya?" asked Nightingale. "Monster outbreak" said Surya.

With one word she immediately woke up and they both ran away from there. She can completely destroy the monster outbreak with her power but she did not do that because even though she has immortality she can experience pain. She cannot destroy them all at once even with the help of Surya.

They ran for 30 minutes until they were away from the outbreak. "The next time I come here I will slaughter those monsters" said Surya with anger.

"Cool yourself down Surya. I know why you are frustrated. You felt weak for the first time after coming to this world" replied Nightingale.

Surya did not refute the point because it is the truth. Before facing "Dex Lazar" and "Ultra steel" he definitely needs to increase his levels and stats to a very high extent. Even now he is not an opponent to Ultra steel due to Ultra Steel's metahuman powers.

But his versatile powers will at least help him escape from capture. They made their way again and after 2 days they reached the edge of the forest.

When they were about to leave the forest two gigantic centipedes 20 feet tall have appeared before them.

"Oh come on" shouted Surya. Nightingale was amused with his shout.

System has definitely screwed him this time because it is not easy to bring down that much HP easily with his puny health. But Surya was smiling instead of being afraid because his eyes were on the reward rather than the danger in front of him.

This time he activated multiple skills at once. He decided that auto healing, Invincible physique, Max perception, Poison Immunity, Fear Immunity are a must to bring them down. He took out the Fire Trident.

"Are you ready Nightingale?" asked Surya. "Yes Surya" she said with a smile. Her body started glowing and her entire face has changed into a different person. Her hair turned white from red color and here eyes turned yellow from green. The hair has extended very long. One white and one black sword appeared in her hands.

Both centipedes sensing the danger from Nightingale attacked her but she jumped away. Surya said "I'll take care of the right one you take care of the left". She gave thumbs up to him.

Surya could not read the level of Nightingale. It only showed "???" to all the details except name and age.

He activated the green flame and it spread over his entire body. When the centipede used the fear on him it did not work. "I knew this would happen its a good thing I brought the immunity" thought Surya.

He jumped on its neck portion and thrusted the Trident. It lost 50000 HP. "KEEEEEE" the shout came due to pain from that centipede.

It started waving its head violently and tried to throw Surya off but Surya jumped off it before it could throw him off. Sensing the danger from the Trident it immediately covered itself with the defensive shell. But there is a drawback of using this power for centipede because it cannot attack its enemy in this state. It is like a life saving mechanism rather than a weapon.

Surya knew this would happen so that is the reason why he brought the spell dark cannon. Even the defensive shell will not be able to save the centipede from its effects. He knew about this part of forest and the type of creatures that live here that is the reason he brought these spells.

He used the dark cannon and huge dark energy blasted through Surya's hands. It directly hit the defensive shell and penetrated the interiors. The dark energy spread throughout the shell and inside the shell.

It started losing 1000 HP and debuffs were put on it. When he looked at the other fight he saw that Nightingale is fighting good and the centipede did not put on a defensive shell.

But the cuts on the centipedes body were too severe. "She is very powerful" thought Surya.

After nearly 5 minutes the centipede in front of her put on the defensive shell. But she did not care. The two long swords in her hand started emitting light and black auras. She jumped on the centipede with huge thrust and pierced the shell on the neck side with the swords and released the energy of the swords. The shell got completely blasted and the centipede tried to throw off Nightingale but she pierced the skin to balance herself and started sliding down slashing it. When Surya saw the health of the centipede it is 0.

The centipede fell down lifeless with its blood splashing all over. When Surya looked back at his target it did not come out of the shell even after the damage. A crooked smile appeared on his face and he casted the lightning tiger and Earth Bullet at the same time. The tiger just stayed there without attacking as Surya was controlling it.

The Earth Bullets pierced the shell everywhere but the damage is very less. The reason he is doing this is to make centipede open its shell rather than him destroying the shell. In other words he is completely toying with the centipede. When Nightingale looked at Surya's smile and when she saw what he was doing. "What a crook" she thought.

She understood that he could kill it easily if he used other means. In just a few seconds the centipede came out of the shell and immediately attacked him quickly. Surya got hit but only lost 5000 HP. The auto healing immediately brought the HP back to normal and wounds healed. "This is called being overpowered" thought Surya. The health of the centipede is still being drained and he secretly ordered the tiger to attack. Due to max perception he is able to understand its attack pattern.

It lifted its head back and immediately shot poison at Surya but the poison did not affect him at all. The lightning tiger ran caused a huge electric explosion. Due to increase in level of Surya the damage was whopping 150000. It again activated its shell and became immobile. It now has a health of 750000.

He did the same thing again and again until its health reached 200000.As soon as it came out of the shell he used the teleportation to appear on its head and thrusted the green aura trident on its head and activated the tornado. The flames completely burnt its body to ash in few minutes.

The reason he toyed it so much is because he needed to increase the level of his skills. The more he uses them the sooner they will reach max.

Nightingale just kept quiet seeing him playing with centipede. She did not interfere because it was fight that needs to be won by him. She also nodded her head at the ridiculousness of Surya's actions. She would have understood if she knew that he had to maximize the strength of the spells.

She came to him and said "Enjoyed toying with them". But Surya's concentration was on quest completion and the reward of points.

Before he could say anything to the system arrows started flying towards two of them. They both rolled out of the way and using several evasive actions escaped the arrows. When Surya looked at the direction arrows came from he saw the "Garuda" tribe a tribe of beast people with eagle like faces. They and paraphrings are in alliance over generations. The are nearly 50 of them all over the place.

He looked at Nightingale and they both nodded to one another. She jumped towards him and he caught hold of her hand. When arrow was very near towards each of them they disappeared. He activated the teleportation spell and transported away. He did not want to fight them because it is the home of the tribe and they are strangers here in the forest.

The destination where he teleported is just outside the forest. They did not talk but ran far away from the forest. They stopped after reaching two kilometers away from the forest.

"What a perilous journey we have embarked on " said Nightingale. "Yeah I agree with you because from now we are going to encounter intelligent beings in Naagadhaara mountains" said Surya. He has already been to those mountains during Superhero days to capture "Fear Crow" who started creating new toxins in secret.

They started walking and they reached a remote village "Hermal" and went to the inn in the village. They booked two rooms and went to bed for the day. Surya did not make any conversation with the system as he wanted rest as he was tired.
