Chapter 45 - Rivalry
The battle continues to rage on, with Hercules having lost control and Athena having been empowered greatly. Poseidon knows that he cannot win, but nonetheless, he pushes on, in an attempt to win a losing battle.
Hercules' power, however, explodes just then, as the ground begins to shatter. Magic comes pouring out, but nobody is able to stop it.. except Hercules himself. Poseidon attempts to charge at Hercules, so as to stop him, even if slightly, but Athena blocks his way.
Poseidon screams at her to get out of the way, for everything will be destroyed if Hercules isn't stopped, but Athena stands her ground, continuing not to let Poseidon pass through. Seeing this, the God decides to force his way through.
He lets out a mighty roar, as he uses his trident to stab Athena. It goes through her, but it does little to no damage, as Athena continues standing in his way, much to Poseidon's anger. He tries stabbing her again and again, but the result remains the same.
