First Act of Business

"Well, great, the Elenia System knows, which means all those of high power know about this too; we're totally fucked now, I hope y'all know," San said. "Yea, no shit, you fucking dumbass, it's pretty fucking noticeable, but thanks, San, for informing us about something that we totally didn't fucking know already," Dev said back to San. "Okay, can you two shut the fuck up! What the fuck is the Elenia System, and why are they punishing you guys?" Crozz chimed in, "the Elenia System is one of the oldest, most powerful systems comprised of all types of species; human, atrocity, anomaly, you name it. It's set to keep everything in order and not allow one another to cross with the others along with each kind having their own set rules to follow," Molly explained, "which were all probably broken by us already. For example, atrocities are not allowed to interfere with humans or help them out. We are to stand back and only create or destroy worlds that don't have meaning, and that's it; David has been breaking that one for a while, starting with stopping Dev; I broke it by helping out San get here and other ones of my own too. San Len and Dev aren't allowed to be on earth for long periods and can't kill just for its fun, which Dev was doing. Not just that, but they were of high ranks, and they all left their positions to be here, which is another penalty on its own. And atrocity's are not to be around anomalies either" "oh yikes!" Crozz said back. "Well, it's apparent we are not allowed back, and we're probably being looked for now too. So the best thing is to stay together now and not be out for much." David said, "you want us to now be stuck together? Yea, no," Len said "yea count me out," followed Dev. "I don't think I want that," Molly says. "I hate to have to agree with David, but that just might be the best thing to do now, it's not safe for us to be separated no more we are all walking targets on our own, and now that we have become weak, it's even worse to be alone, we could be killed with a simple scratch now," San says forcefully "so just the atrocities and anomalies right," Ash asked "well sadly no we'd all be in this now, each of our kind will be looking for us, so you two aren't excluded from this they are going to want us dead," Molly said "I hate this" Len sighed "well seems like that's our only option so now what?" She asked "wait before anything what did we get taken away? Is it only our vitality?" San asked, looking at Molly. Len checked, and she was still able to hop into the shadows and was still pretty fast; Dev still had his agility and speed and still could semi travel through shadows, and San was still able to manipulate and go through shadows too. Molly was still able to create shields of all types and reflect certain attacks. David was still able to crest portals and suppress people's senses and hold people with those weird black vine-like stuff, and he was still able to heal things, but now it took more effort and more time. "So powers are still there, let's try this, hey San come here," Len said "uh okay wh-"San was cut short by Len, who slammed a piece of stone from the ground into his head, knocking him completely out and making a mess in the ground "oooh that ain't pretty," Len said "oh my" Crozz followed "Okay so we know we do get injured like humans now," Molly said shortly "yep," David said as he got on his knees and began to heal San. "I hope you got your answer. You needed you fucking asshole.- thanks, David," San said as he got back up "we did," Len said with a smug look. "So we do have to be careful now with things we are just as delicate as them, we have to practice how we move around things now, we aren't invincible like we were before," David said to the group "that goes to you to Kit don't throw those bowls too hard because you'll make David waste energy healing," Molly said sternly to Kit who was snuggled on a broken couch that was barely big enough to keep his body on it "yea, please don't kill me with those now I beg you," Dev said anxiously. "So now we have to figure out how to come out of our forms, we're going to attract much attention to ourselves if we plan on going out. Len, how did you do it?" David asked, "oh simple, it's one of the artifacts that acts sort of like a glamour spell but like for reals and can be permanent. It takes you and makes the version of you that you would be in the species you want, so in other words, this is how I'm supposed to look like as a human." Len answered, "do you think it can add a few more people?", Len shrugged "Ima be honest I don't know if it can" "well, as a matter of fact, it actually can, I remember I had to study this artifact when I entered inventory" Dev said "all it needs is an am-""AMETRINE!" San said as he cut off Dev "yes I remember reading of it too" "it's the things the anomalies used to travel to earth to not create panic, right now it's using an amethyst which has enough power for one" Dev said annoyed "okay where do we get one of those" David asked "well it can't be just any grade it has to be a grade A high-quality ametrine, so it's going to be very hard to find" Dev said very sadly "well fuck, now what?" David replied, "Leave that to us two," Crozz and Ash said, "there's a museum in this city that has a gem exhibit, some gems can date all the way to the start of the earth, so there has to be something there," Crozz said "and we're the only ones that know how to go around and take things so we can go and get that for you guys" Ash followed "well just be careful you two don't get hurt or caught," Moly said worriedly. "Aww, you sound like a mother," Crozz said "thanks for the concern, but we'll be fine, though. That's how we lived before, so we can do it" "meet you guys back here in an hour or so," Ash said. "Okay, so the first act of business, that Ametrine," David said. "Second, turn into a human," San followed. "Third, we- wait, what is third?" Dev said, confused "we will have to find out what's our next move afterward but for now, what we do need to do is switch appearances for good if we wish to live," David said to Dev. "Let's just hope there's an ametrine in that exhibit; it's our only hope."
