Fallen Star Cities official birth!

Just as Leo was celebrating the first advisor that he had gotten for his territory, another world notification rang out that shook the new world once more.

[World Notification: Lord Leo is the first lord to successfully assign a Blue grade advisor for his territory! His name shall be etched into the hall of fame and his advisors shall all gain a 10% boost administration efficiency!]

As soon as Leo heard that notification, he groaned and quickly opened the world chat to see what the reactions to his newest advancement were like.

[Xian Be: My holy brother, share some of your fortune will you?!]

[Marcel: Ay bro, not cool, stealin' all the achievements and upgrades and leaving nothin to the rest of us? Seems like your trying to hog everything for yo' self!]

[Kyliee: I once again offer my body to the great master of the new world!]

[Jonah: I'm with Lord Kyliee on this one! Take me O' Great Lord Leo!]

[Lance: Simply unfathomable…]

[2.1 billion people are typing…]

Leo sighed as he watched the reaction roll in and turned to sally to ask he something. However before he could say anything she asked him curiously,"Lord Leo, why have you not registered your territory into the system? Surely you must want those benefits right?"

Leo's mouth was slightly agape when he heard that, and he said out loud, a little startled,"Register? I have no idea what that even means!"

Sally cocked her head and asked,"Were you not given that information?"

Leo shook his head furiously, not knowing what the hell she was talking about. He responded quickly," Quickly, Tell me what you are talking about!" Leo would be lying if he said he wasn't a little giddy with excitement, Sally did just say he could gain some benefits after all!

Sally regained her composure and said,"Lord Leo, When a territory reaches 50 population the lord of the territory is able to register his territory, singular or plural into the system. When the lord does so, his territory is officially able to start gaining refugees. These refugees are almost always of the white grade, and depending on the grade of the person who registered the city, the more refugees will 'spawn'."

Leo was still a little confused and said,"Well, I haven't been on this planet for more than 2 days, and I am still in the beginner stages of white grade. If I set up the register, how would that compare to if you did it?"

Sally beamed him an adorable smile and said,"Well, Lord Leo would gain 1 refugee a day if he did it, and I would gain 3 refugees a day If I did it. However, the point of the refugee system is to take in all of the advisors' grades, not just one."

Leo was slightly confused and asked,"What do you mean?"

Sally responded,"Well let's take the current situation, There is lord Leo, a white grade lord, and myself a blue grade advisor. Both of us on the register would create a 4 refugee spawn rate every 7 days. If we registered with only myself or lord leo as the only "leaders" of the territory, the spawn rate would be much less."

Leo was finally starting to understand and he shook his head in confirmation. He then asked her,"Sorry for all the questions, but what exactly will these refugees do once they are inside of my territory?'

Sally chuckled a little and replied."Not a problem my lord, I am happy to assist you! Anyways, the point of the refugees is a solid worker base that will increase the production of individual goods and services that simple soldiers and workers simply cannot provide. For example, most refugees, at least in the beginning, will ask to be placed under some of the workers the lord has summoned, such as the carpenters or stonemasons. Some may also wish to be soldiers, but after a while, after learning from the workers on how to do the trade of their choosing they will seek to open their own shops, religious centers, or cultural centers. They can also be asked to tend to livestock like the farmers or handle important trades like merchants."

Leo now had a solid grasp on what these refugees could mean for his territory. It was true that it would mean that he would constantly be trying to upgrade his city or maybe even cities in the future, however it would provide his people with luxury goods that would enable them to work even harder. It was the exact same on his old world, when you wanted something that was just out of your price range, you had to work extra hard to get it.

Leo took a deep breathe and made his decision, telling Sally,"Ok, Sally, please register Fallen Star City into the system."

"With pleasure Lord Leo!" Sally happily replied.

[Lord Leo has officially reached the required population and has successfully registered his city 'Fallen Star City' into the system! Congratulations Lord Leo, your future citizens will start spawning outside of your territory soon!]

Leo listened to notification with a smile and right as he was about to turn and walk with Sally around the territory another world notification sounded.

[World notification: Lord Leo is the first the lord in the world to officially register his territory! Lord Leo's territory, now called 'Fallen Star City' will now gain a 10% refugee spawn rate buff and his 'Fallen Star City' shall be etched into the hall of fame!]

Leo groaned loudly, slightly startling Sally, who was standing next to him. Leo said sorry to her but he really felt like he couldn't get a break! It seemed like stuff he just randomly did managed to be worthy of the hall of fame every time! Leo was now thinking that if he wiped his butt correctly in the future he might get an achievement!

Leo didn't even need to look at the world chat to know that it was blowing up again, he was now over looking at their constant reactions. It was cool the first time, slightly annoying the second time, and now it's just getting on his nerves.

Leo decided to completely ignore the chat box of his family as well, he was too busy today to try and explain himself. He and Sally started to look around the territory and even though Leo thought he was doing a pretty good job managing it, Sally's face started to get more and more concerned as time went on.

At the end of the tour of Fallen Star City he asked her,"What's wrong Sally? Your face looks like you've seen a ghost."

Sally took in a deep breath and rather cautiously said,"Lord Leo, I understand you have only been here for a couple of days, but it is going to be rather hard for me to even begin to develop your economy with how barebones this place is. I am sure that if what you told me is correct and everyone from your world is on the same starting line as yourself that you are probably a couple of steps ahead of them. However, you and I will need to at least get some of the basics before we can even begin trading, auctioning, or even forming routes for goods and services to travel through!"

Leo was about to speak up and try to defend himself but he realized she was right! He might be blessed with the Midas Touch that made it easy to get more powerful but he knew nothing when it came to running a village, much less a city or kingdom!

Leo shook the negative thought out of his head and simply responded,"What do you want me to do?"

Sally replied in an urgent tone,"We must first get some livestock. Anything will do in the beginning, white grade is perfectly fine as a start, then we must find some medicinal herbs to be able use for disease and trade with our future neighbors. I also recommend finding some silkworms or spiders to cultivate for their silk. I also highly recommend when some of the refugees start showing up to assign them to do some logging as we do not have any passive wood unit income, as well as building a well or two for future use. Lastly, we need to find some mines, to be able to make luxury goods for our people, and again, for our future neighbors and trade partners!"

Sally was slightly winded as she kept explaining what Leo needed to actually jump start an economy and he was slightly bewildered at this beauty in front of him acting in such a spastic manner. It was right after she finished explaining that Leo heard the systems voice in head once again.

["Mining is a special project!" quest mission details: Sally fervently asks for Lord Leo to find some mines of Iron or better for the territory to start gaining materials for use. Quest mission rewards: 1 wood chest(+)]

Leo nodded his head in appreciation and said to Sally,"I understand, I will be on the lookout for all the things you have mentioned. In the meantime Sally, I don't really know what else I can do for you, so just go and introduce yourself to the workers and get to know them a little bit. You can also do other things when you are done with that, I just still don't know what all your job implies, so feel free to act without caution."

As soon as Leo was finished he swore he saw an evil grin on Sally's face for half a second, but it was gone as soon as he did a double take. Leo tried not to think anything of it and started to walk over to the Ash and the rest of the troops.

After all the commotion of the summoning and the advisor he needed to get back on track and do the raid on the Crystal Hoarders nest like he had planned yesterday. As he walked closer to the troops he also saw the weapon smiths and Bu standing near them. Bu and Ash were currently talking with friendly smiles on their faces and Leo was happy seeing them get along.

Leo walked up to the two of them and asked,"Is everything ready for the raid?" While he asked that question he beamed his Orange grade chestpiece onto his chest and his Blue grade spear into his hand, slightly startling both Bu and Ash.

Bu and Ash both momentarily gave each other a side eye and then General Ash responded first,"Yes, Lord Leo, the old troops as well as the new ones have all been briefed on the mission and everyone is prepared. Sir Bu has finished 24 of the 50 elderwood swords, so all of our Green grade troops are prepared to kill those ants."

Leo looked to Bu and said,"Thank you for your contribution to this mission, Sir Bu."

Bu, looking slightly startled at such a respectful tone, immediately replied,"It is nothing my lord! I am simply doing my job!"

Leo nodded his head and shouted out to the rest of the soldiers,"Men!" All the soldiers stood at attention and saluted. Leo continued,"We are moving to the Crystal Hoarders cave now! Move out!"
