Chapter 242: Dark Room

The Tale Bearers started to inspect the area and found a few number of people who survived. Ain started to learn his mother's medical technique even if he hated it since it was Hexel alone who can do the task. Lila, Eyel and Natalina maintained their tent and camp as the men do the labour in burrying the dead.

The palace became a ruin and is a place of horror. Kennan left the area after lamenting and is now a full pledge librarian since all the shelves were completed from first to the underground floor.

The Myrrh Cinnamon Library became a history. It also became a heritage site but no one dare to use it since it was only the building that was left standing.

Evi turned the whole Kingdom into a tomb. A nation got graved in from a life sustaining vineyard.

Kiel leaded the people. He got enthroned as the leader of the camp. The whole people followed him as they pitch their tent and started to travel as a community. Hexel would sometimes struggle in choosing what is for his daughter but at most of the time he would give his best. Ain started to learn about the herbs and used it as their main cure in every illness as they move from place to place. The south has given them a good farming life.

They struggled from drought, famine, storm and other calamities but they remained intact. Kish still prayed for the people and would claim each border as heavenly territory.

"Our God who has been sustaining, shielding and surprising us in every turns and step we took. We are in awe of your goodness and mercy upon us. Look at your people that only survived. We are but 20. Yet you have given this land as our own. Many have settled and built their own family in each place where you relocated them but here we are striding to your will. May your beyond and strength be upon us who followed and walks with you as our compass. Amen."

Nevi became a composer of many song. He also utilizes his skill in cooking but in the end his home is still a distant far shore to where he was. Nevi would often think of Lehi and the orphanage. His mind would wonder if there will be a well on the way for him to jump in but it does not guarantee his success to get back. One of the song he wrote got acknowledge by the few survivor and was using it to enlighten and inspire their day.

"This dark room where my image is form.

Light has waited for me to be born.

Room of dark where I get exposes from the enemy inside me.

Light that was present not from the door but inside me glowed in it.

Along the way only the Tale Bearers remained. Kiel can now finally smile since his people has found a new home. Kiel gladly mentored his son but it was a peacful year for them. No war, death, killing, murder, slaying or disease. It was only a continuous journey and voyage. They have climb the mountain tops. Sailed a lake but the shark were asleep.

They float by the air but the birds were kind to them. Kiel wonders if this was all there is to live.

Lila supported Kiel even if at times they have to give what they only had. Lila cheered her husband when the day were not swinging their way. Lila would provide the care she never recieved but in the end her heart longs and yearn for her husband's love to be like how they were used to be. Kiel is a good and mature leader. A very loving and protective father but ever since he had asked her to shut up his actions diverted. Lila is just a wife in status. Lila can feel the rift in their marraige as they kept their quest and pitching tents. She wanted to take it all in her hand. All her want is not what the Heavenly Father has promised her. Lila would watch Kiel gave out a kind smile and encouraging words to other people which she waited and hoped to hear again. Kiel is a good leader but he is lacking as her husband.

Lila bowed her head and opened the curtain for the guest that they bump in. The man winked at her which she politely and safely noded. A formal response to avoid any commotion. These men who were known as foreign and had lost their way seek their help.

Another man who has a good posture and symmetrical face shyly extended his hand.

"My name is Fur." the man introduced.

Lila just stared at the hand when Kiel suddenly put his arms around her shoulder.

"Hey Fur, yeah I forgot to introduce my wife Lila." Kiel voiced out as if he was to dismiss the man's presence.

The man withdrew his hand and he bowed to hide his embarrassment.

Hexel arrived with Ain as Natalina and Eyel appeared with the triplets who went for a walk. The three boys were learning and starting to play who are having their own days and fun. Nevi, Ophir and Urchin arrived later on. The three went for a hunting and collecting the food.

They gather a basket of fish. Shoot a deer and took in some leafy vegetables and fruits. Ophir and Nevi arrived with such excitement only to be welcome by a tense encounter. Ophir chuckled and threw a single apple to distract Kiel's frowning face.

"Hey Mr. Leader hands off from the beautiful maiden. We all know she is your wife, so drop that frown and we need to talk." Ophir stated as he sent a signal to Lila who sighed in relief.
