After recovering from the fight and the damage done to the group by Obsidia, Sky and I reunited with Dani, Charlie, Charlotte, Khalil, Mizu, Carl, and the newly reunited Red.
"You're back..." Dani muttered. Dad nodded, embracing her into a hug as Carl shook his hand from behind her back.
"We're reunited, at long last. I can't believe it...it's you, Red." Dad said.
He walked over to his old friend, thinking that he lost her life due to his own faults all that time ago.
"You guys haven't gotten too strong without me, have you?" Red asked him. Dad smiled as everybody broke out into light laughter.
"Things have happened...that's for sure. Unfortunately, we have gotten pretty strong," Dad said. As he said that, he turned to everybody around him, smiling as Shike, Belle, Alexia, and Boo entered the scene as well.
"That just means I'll need to work harder to catch up!" Red exclaimed in excitement.
"Khalil, what's with the silence? Is everything alright?" Dad asked him. He seemed to be lost in thought, and stunned by the events that happened so far.
"I'm impressed, really. You guys handled that situation like you've been through it before. Part of me wanted to see what your plan was, the other part of me wanted to fight as well. I surrounded the city in the Leyndell Aura, so even if Obsidia made it out, she couldn't have damaged anybody," He explained.
"Now, we came here for a meeting, if I'm not mistaken. Although...Netsu and Ultima both died in the altercation, so who's going to support Antarctica and Oceania?" Dad asked. I patiently waited for Khalil to answer the question, but he never opened his mouth, only looking toward Sky.
"I will not be the leader of the entire continent. That debt is owed to somebody else," Dad said. He crossed his arms and closed his eyes, showing how adamant he was that he wouldn't budge.
"Oh, that's perfectly okay. I thought the answer was obvious anyway. Nova's heir, Mizu, will have to take her place." Khalil explained.
"Huh? Wait, I'm way too young for that! You can't do that to me!" She screamed.
"You...are my niece? Don't worry, if that's where Sky and the others live, I'll happily live there too! Maybe I can help!" Red exclaimed. It appeared that Mizu felt much more secure than before, sighing with relief.
"And Oceania? Don't forget, that's a whole area too," Khalil looked around the group of people around us when Charlotte raised her hand reluctantly.
"I can do it. If nobody else will, it's an opportunity to help those in need," Charlotte explained. She was skittish with the idea of being confronted as the leader of Oceania, but I could tell it was what she wanted.
"And I would help her, along with Alex and Asoh. We'll get the country back into its normal functions sooner than you know. But, the countries should have a fair chance to elect who they want as their leader. We'll handle that later, for now, we need to meet with who's left," Khalil stated.
We spent about two more hours waiting for Acchi, Chikyu, and Raiden to arrive in the general vicinity. Once they did, Sky created a table and chairs around the destroyed forest for everybody to sit on. And thus, the meeting began.
"Greetings everybody. I know this is a strange way to greet everybody, but Ultima and Netsu are no longer with us," Khalil started.
"Woah...that's so sudden. Did they go horribly?" Acchi asked.
"Yeah, that's pretty accurate," I explained. They nodded, losing interest in the subject immediately.
"So, what I wanted to bring everybody here to talk about was the future, with all things considered going on right now. It's to my attention that our friend Sky Asterio has a very, very hefty enemy on his list." Khalil stated.
"Eirikr Asterio?" Dad quickly replied, to which he nodded.
"So, I wanted to discuss his arrival, and what our next steps should be. For one, we need to decide if we're helping him or not."
"I decide against helping."
"Me too."
"Come on now...you guys don't want to help at all?! I don't think he'll be able to do it alone,"
"Will he be able to do it with us? That's the real question...this guy is no joke, I don't care what he's capable of," Acchi asked once more. Raiden silently nodded, letting the atmosphere take care of the conversation at hand.
"I know, you have no reason to believe Sky is stronger than that Demon...but I've seen it myself. There's a substantial chance that Sky can take on Eirikr now. I would absolutely believe it. But, we don't know what forces Eirikr has. Can Sky take on an army from him? We should do our best to support him."
"What makes you think our forces are any match for Eirikr's? This man has a lot of time to have been building an army just for this moment. Are we comparable? The moment he comes in and wills us to be dead, we are dead. There's no fighting, just suffering. Our best odds of winning against him is not fighting him."
"We need to be confident during this trying time. Cynthia, Fico, and Eirikr are the only ones left that threaten world peace. Three people, for three world leaders plus Sky and his friends. We can split that up, can't we? We need to at least take the pressure off him, however we can."
Khalil stood confidently in front of Dad, waiting for the other World Leaders to finally give in to his pleas. From the sound of it, nobody was confident enough in Sky to fight all three of those people on his own.
However...from what I saw during his fight with Obsidia, Sky was more than capable. He was...too powerful.
