---Ra's Perspective---
I split off from Shinigami Asterio and the others as soon as we landed in the Americas. From what I learned during my entire time in the Americas, there was a lot to do and explore. Sky and the others had their own things to do, but I wanted to obtain more power. I wasn't sure how to go about it until I walked down the second street from the ocean by where we landed.
Down the street by the rest of the passersby stood a girl with bright blonde hair and two different colored eyes. She was confused, looking back and forth while holding a strange, red staff.
I would have to postpone my quest.
"Excuse me, are you okay?" I asked. I walked up beside the girl with one hand on her shoulder, peering at her body to examine her for damages. She had one scrape on her forehead and tons of dirt marks all over her body. She didn't look old, no older than ten years old to me.
"Hi! Um...I don't know where I am. What is this?" She asked. She turned her entire body in my direction, nervously waiting for me to explain our situation. Although she asked a specific question, I wasn't sure how to help her.
"What is...what? Do you know where your parents are?" I asked her. The girl blankly looked around the city, then turned back to me. Her confusion was mysterious.
"This doesn't even look like home! I was...doing something, then I blinked and I ended up here. What's your name, Mister?"
"It's Ra. And your name?"
"Aria. Nice to meet you. I feel like I've heard your name before in my Dad's stories... I'm looking for a girl named Cynthia. Have you seen her?"
"Aria...what are you talking about? You're looking for a girl named Cynthia? Why...?"
At this point, I was more than confused about the strange girl's motives, but the very notion that she made with her body gave me the feeling that she wasn't an ally of Cynthia. I took her by the hand and dragged her to the side of the street, crouching down so I could make eye contact with you.
"There's a lot of explaining you have to do because I also am looking for Cynthia, sort of. She's like a second-hand threat in my eyes, if I'm being honest. But you? What's a little one like you have to do with her?" I asked.
"She hurt my dad! And, I'm going to kill her." Aria told me. She held up the red staff to the sky and shook it around. I quickly blocked the ends from hitting people walking by and shyly shrugged at their dirty glances.
"That's maybe not a thing we should say out loud about anybody!"
After guiding Aria to a more open area in public, I was able to get a little bit of information out of her. Apparently, Cynthia did something to her dad that afflicted her and put her in a weird spot, only physically. Aria seemed immune to any sort of mental damage that Cynthia could do to other people in the group I found myself in. Sky seemed to take a lot of her words heavily.
"Not to be rude, but were you born with those eyes? The people I know remove eyes and put them back like crazy...did anything like that happen to you?" I asked her.
Aria poked at her left eye like it was a glass ball in her head. She poked it, and it made me squeamish. After she poked it, she shook her head.
"Nope! I had an accident about a year ago, and when it happened I lost vision in this eye. But, the green one I can see out of!" She explained to me.
What an interesting girl...
"Well, Aria, I can try to link back up with my group, but they're all spread out in this city now. Any chance your parents are nearby? Or is this location not even similar to the one you group up near?"
"Very very far."
Aria's short statement affirmed my answer and I took off with her by my side, walking through the streets of America. We passed by several people, and happened upon a blacksmith at the very end of the street we had just entered. However, before meeting up with the blacksmith, Aria was distracted.
"Where are the street lamps and cars?"
"Huh? Cars? What are those?"
"You know, the big metal boxes that take people places? Dad never got one, but a lot of other people have them. They go 'vroom'!" Aria exclaimed. She made odd noises with her mouth, but if I was being honest, they sounded cool.
"What other things does your world have that this one doesn't? Anything you realize?" I asked. Aria took a moment to think, tapping her finger on the side of her head before perking up with enthusiasm.
"Oh! Yes, something I have realized. So, all of the people here are so...unhappy! In my home, all the people are always smiling...it's a weird difference. They seem sad, and I have no idea what for." She mentioned.
"I couldn't honestly tell you the reason, but what I do know is that everybody fights their own battles. I'm sure you'll be quite the warrior one day too, won't you?" I asked her. I wasn't too good at motivating children, but I felt like my point was made with Aria.
"Yeah! A great warrior who's going to kill Cynthia!" She screamed. I sighed, nodding my head and lightly patting her on the back.
"You remind me of somebody. It's crazy how similar the two of you are," I told her. She seemed confused, but I was too busy laughing to explain who I thought of in comparison.
This girl is...interesting. I don't know why she arrived here, but I do know that she's holding a really cool staff...
