--Myth's Perspective--
"You got a new best friend?! Does that mean we won't be able to play anymore?!" I shouted out to Mitra. He laughed, putting on his shirt and cleaning up his toys as I stood right outside his bedroom door.
His room, with green walls and a blue carpet, sort of fit Mitra's entire personality. His favorite color was green, and mine was blue, so it was like our room, not just his.
"Are we going to get her favorite color put into our room as well? I still can be your friend? Right?!" I pleaded to Mitra, but he didn't seem anywhere near as concerned as I was.
"Myth, she's just another friend, she's not your replacement. My mom said we can all get ice cream, and that Buusu's parents would be gone for a while." Mitra told me.
"Chocolate ice cream does sound pretty good right now... okay, but I won't be replaced!" I declared to Mitra.
We walked down his hallway and once at the end, his mom was standing there with her hand on his new friend's back. She was in baggy clothing, in what looked like Mitra's stuff, and she seemed a little shy of the two of us.
"We'll have to get you new clothing sweetie. So, you two boys! This isn't another boy, this is a girl! No being rough with her! Am I clear?!" Mitra's mom told us. I nodded and Mitra did as well with a lump in our throats from the fear she put into us.
"Nice to meet you, Buusu!" I told the girl in front of Mitra's mom to show her I was going to be nice.
"Hi... Myth..." Buusu muttered as I told her my name.
She seemed awfully close to Mitra already, as she even hid behind him when she talked to me.
"Hey, did you two already meet in secret? So, I really am left out here!" I shouted out again, but Mitra shook it off.
"We're neighbors, you know? It's impossible that we wouldn't have seen each other. Boo and I have been friends for like two years now." Mitra told me.
Not the childhood friend! Anything but that!
"Look! I'm still one of Mitra's closest friends, which will never change! You can be his girlfriend or whatever, but the one who will be his best friend is me! Myth!" I said to Buusu.
His Mom interrupted before Buusu could say anything, "I wish I was your age again. Come on, set your quarrels aside and let's go get some desert." She said.
"What the heck is a Quarrel?"
"What the heck is a Quarrel?"
Buusu and I said at the same time.
I peered at her... Could she read minds too?! She's the ultimate competition!

"And that's why chocolate ice cream is the best!" I said, licking the top of my cone while explaining it to Mitra and Buusu.
"I don't know man! Mint is really good!" Mitra said to Buusu and I. Buusu looked like she was warming up, and braced herself for her own opinion.
"I think strawberry is the best! It has a fun color, and it tastes super good!" She said with a light smile.
"Strawberry is pretty good. Guess you're the only one with terrible taste, Mitra!" I commented, which made Buusu laugh.
She didn't seem too bad after all. I took her as a danger this entire time, but we were warming up to each other over time. I assume we'd be pretty close by the time we were older... so I should stop being so skeptical of her.
I had no idea Mitra and her were neighbors after knowing him for almost six years, but if there was another friend in our group, then that worked out just fine for me as well!
"Hey, can I call you Boo? Or, is that only a thing that Mitra can do?" I asked her.
"Y-You can call me that! I don't mind, isn't it easier to say?" She asked the both of us. Mitra nodded, but I didn't think that was the right answer.
"I wouldn't care how long your name was. If you're my friend, I'd use it if you wanted me to." I told her while biting into the cone.
She went silent for a moment, nodding, and going back to her strawberry ice cream cone.
"How thoughtful of an answer! If only you were capable of that, Mitra." Mitra's mom teased him.
"Whatever! I had no idea Myth was that nice!" Mitra argued back, but now, it involved me.
"What does that have to do with me?! That sounds like an insult!" I shouted back at Mitra.
The both of us laughed and Boo seemed confused, just looking at us with her mouth open behind her ice cream. Her eyes contrasted really well with that strawberry coloring, I just noticed.
"Are you guys actually fighting right now? I don't want you to stop being friends!" Boo told the both of us. We looked at each other, and then at her again.
I wasn't sure how to tell her how our friendship worked, but Mitra found quite the perfect way.
"We can argue and hit each other all we want. Myth and I have been linked since birth, there's no way we would hate each other for anything! He's my best friend, after all!" Mitra said with a smile. Boo nodded and looked back down at her ice cream again.
"And one day, you'll be just like us! We can all insult each other and go back and forth, but we'll forever be linked through our friendship, right?!" I said to Boo.
"That... that sounds good! Yes!" She replied, digging into the last bits of her ice cream.

-Present Time-
My memories were flashing in my head as I came to realize that I had been decapitated.
Illya slashed through my head, and killed me... but I was getting to relive all of my moments from this world... and it was so sweet.
I wanted so badly to see Mitra and Boo get married one day, as soon after those days in our childhoods, they seemed to really hit it off. I felt left in the background that entire time... but I was happy for both of my best friends. My best friends who found happiness... and who, in contrast to me... would survive against Illya.
I'm on my way now, Ali. Hopefully, I did a good job...
