Only then Sam remembered that he got a mind skill from system task completion.
"System I wish to learn the mind skill!" said Sam.

Sam raised his brows.
"So costly eh?.. Never mind.. yes use it!" replied Sam.

The book turned into a light and got embedded in Sam's temple. Sam suddenly felt his mind full of lots of information. His head hurt with the sudden flurry of data.
After two minutes, Sam finally stabilised. The mind skill was simple. It could be cultivated easily but it was time-consuming. It had many levels and sublevels.
Speaking his head, Sam climbed up a tall tree after checking it was free of any monsters. He exchanged paper scrolls from the system and drew on them after he lit a torchlight. He needed to prepare himself fully for another group fight!

Sam who had already finished his paintings 5 minutes ago suddenly thought of taking a rest for an hour. He was mentally and physically exhausted after the whole day of constant fights. So it was justified for him to take a break!
He was feeling dizzy from tiredness and exhaustion and the only thought in his mind at that moment was to sleep a bit.
So he started relaxing in a comfortable position on the tree branch when he was suddenly jolted awake!
Sam was drenched in sweat all over and felt a chill on his back!
"What just happened?" thought Sam panicked, as he immediately jumped down the tree and checked the surrounding tree top.
"Coo..cooo"
At that moment he again heard an exceptionally sweet bird call...
Sam felt mesmerized listening to the bird's call. The sound was so soothing and calming that he felt like staying in that place and listen to the melody forever!
Suddenly, Sam felt goosebumps rising on his skin as he felt an immense fear listening to it. He searched everywhere and finally found a bird sitting on the tree beside the one he sat!
It was a level 2 three-eyed owl!
The owl was coldly looking down at Sam with its red eyes glowing in the mellow moonlight!
Sam felt nothing but bone-deep chill rising from his heart!
Every cell of his body was screaming danger at that moment! He waited for no moment as he turned around and ran at full speed! Even while running he felt like his heart was coming out of his chest.
What kind of shitty luck that he had today?
At first, it was beast tide and now a three-eyed owl! ...cursed Sam to himself.
The three-eyed owl was a higher level monster and nocturnal creature like the original owl. They had a beautiful hypnotic voice. Higher level three-eyed owl had the power to control anyone's soul. They were sometimes one of the masterminds of large scale beast attacks! They are so cunning and slippery beasts that couldn't be easily caught!
That owl was only a level 2 and it almost got Sam to sleep in the perilous forest. This signified its danger level!

As Sam fled, he was incredibly worried after seeing the beast tide. Even if the beast tide was manmade, there was no way anyone could attract a three-eyed owl which was a very intelligent creature. It manipulated others and not the other way around!
"Is the beast tide man-made or manipulated by any beast?" thought Sam as a dangerous thought swept past his mind!
He glanced at the moonlight seeping past the corners of the trees. The scenery looked beautiful yet deadly...
Sam sighed!
"I hope people can survive this time!"

After an hour Sam finally arrived at his marked destination.
"Roarrr"
A colony of Alaskan beasts resided here. The beasts were roaring, getting agitated at Sam's arrival.
He took a deep breath as he released his paperart and charged into their den. He needed to make things quick as there were more than 10 levels 3 beasts present there. Even though they won't pose any threat but he would be harassed if they decided to gang up on him!

The wind howled as Sam swiftly moved in between the trees and slaughtered the beasts. Even though he had problems seeing at night, due to sensitive hearing of their movements, he had little to no problem slaughtering them!
"Roaar"
A beast plunged at Sam from behind. Sam let forward and somersaulted and kicked it hard, rupturing its abdomen.
Sam smirked..
"Now its fun time kitties!"
