Summoned by the Cosmos: Beast World

This is about a girl from a world different from earth but it has its similarities, one key difference is what the people perceive as God, talks to them and grants them a powerful gift on their 20th birthday to help keep their planet alive. Though due to overpopulation God decides that upon giving them their power, to randomly choose people to send to alternate worlds that are willing to house them. The main character here will be sent to a world of beasts, and must try to survive with the gift her God bestowed upon her. This is a story currently in my head at the moment. I may post a chapter or two to see if anyone is interested but otherwise I will just add onto it whenever I find some extra time.

Chapter 8 - Mate mark?

Kasia didn't even have the energy to turn her head anymore. The pain was too much and all she wanted to do was escape the pain already. She had lost all hope for salvation at this point. She failed her sister so quickly after they just met.

"Female. Why are you so injured? Where are you trying to go?"

" Home.. I need a home."

"You can have mine if you need to rest"

The moment he said that and she followed his eyes to the cave he called home. Kasia then tried one last time to place the healing house. To her surprise it actually worked but she felt that the things he considered his home were now within her space instead of the healing house.

She only felt a few items and the top most layer of the cave floor. Nothing else. Was that all he considered to be his home?

His eyes widened at all of his things disappearing and a strange structure was now in the middle of his cave.

"Please bring me inside... I need to go..."

Without another word this Man picked her up carefully with one arm. His other arm limp at his side and unmoving.

Kasia flinched as she's cradled so carefully in his arm pressed against his bare chest.

He was being so tender to not aggravate her injuries any further than they were.

Another beast man saw this and instantly attacked this man thinking he was unworthy of the female in his arms. But the man holding her was more agile than this other beast man and turned quickly enough. So his claws only slashed into his limp arm rather than this injured female.

Through hazy eyes Kasia felt this man gently place her just outside of her home. Even with only 1 arm this man was strong enough to fight off multiple enemies. Kicking and shoving them away until he won against all of the attackers. But he didn't come out unscathed, he was covered in gashes and scratches.

Kasia felt her body lift up from the ground and be brought into the healing house. She took her good arm and weakly pointed at Aure and asked the beast man to bring her into the healing pool.

He couldn't just dump her in the water and walk away so while holding her against his chest, he walked into the water with her. Not even questioning why she wanted to go there.

After a few moments, he could feel all of the pain in his own body fade away. And he watched in astonishment as the females wounds closed and healed in front of his very eyes. But there was a burning sensation on both of their shoulders. On his arm that was essentially dead up until now could move and on that shoulder was a purple flower resembling the color of her hair. On her shoulder was an image of a golden dragon. He instantly understood what this meant.

They had become mates through some weird method that he had never even heard of.

Kasia flinched at the pain searing into her shoulder and questioned what happened.

"What is this ? Why is there a marking on my shoulder ?? " Her mind gradually coming out of the haze.

Although she was muttering he understood every word. He also understood that she didn't do this intentionally so he told her the truth. That it was his mate mark.

Kasia hadn't heard anything about this being how mates bonds were formed. She said it was a completely different method.

Her face paled and she looked up at the man holding her, He had Reddish-brown hair and bright green eyes that never left her face.

"I'm sorry.. I don't know what happened but I'm so sorry.... Somehow I forced you to become mates with me. "

"You didn't force me. I'm not opposed to it, but I'm just surprised that there was such a method for it to happen. But more importantly, how did you fix my arm? I was told that it would never heal again in my lifetime. "

Kasia looked at him and then looked down at the water around them and pointed at the water. "that wasn't me. That was Aure.."

As though smacked upside the head, she remembered about Briar and how hurt she was. "My sister! I need to go get her and bring her here right now. She might die otherwise."

Kasia scrambled out of his embrace to run toward where she remembered her sister being.

The man chuckled at how flustered she was and followed her until she found who she was looking for.

"Briar!! Come I found a place for our home.." But try as she might she couldn't lift her body by herself. The Wolf beast attempted to stop her before holding his tongue after seeing the man that saved Kasia telling him to be quiet

With a glance.

He walked up and patted her head "I can bring her back for you. So please don't cry"

She hadn't even noticed that she had been crying so desperately. This was the first moment that Kasia truly looked at this man for who he was. He was so kind. He wasn't even angry that he was basically forced to become her mate. He followed after her to help her sister all while Never complaining with a smile on his face.

"Do you like this female Haran? " The man carrying Briar asked the Wolf. His face flushed red and he stuttered " y..yes my king"

"I am no longer your king. I am only Azra now.

But I think I know what my little female wants to do and I can't do it for her. So it's going to be up to you." While Haran was confused he was eager to do anything for this female If it meant she would survive. Kasia fully understood and looked at her sister with a sadness thinking about how she's about to force her to take a mate. Just like she had , but she might die otherwise.

After a few moments they make it back to his home and he places Briar in Harans arms and told him to walk into the pool with her.

Kasia told him to stop and explained that this might actually force them to become mates.

No matter what he deserved to know before the fact. His face blushed a little and he walked in without any hesitation.

He walked in with her in his arms but to everyone's surprise nothing happened. Why. Why...

Was it too late for her? Then all of sudden Kasia remembered the sparrow. It hadn't had any outward wounds. Much like Briar now. So she went and sliced her hand open with a sharp rock sitting near her feet. Before Azra could stop her She thrust her hand into the healing pool and saw how Aure lit up a bright yellow and all of their wounds were healed.

Haran flinched feeling a burning over his chest and red flower bloomed over his heart.

While an image of a black wolf burned itself into Briar's back. She was healed but still sleeping, Kasia felt tremendous guilt for forcing her to have a mate but she learned how it was possible now.

It had something to do with her blood entering the pool with the wounded beasts but also something to do with their own hearts. Haran seemed to like Briar more than herself so he became her mate while Azra...

After looking up at Azra " do you like me? Are you sure you're okay?"

Azra chuckled for a moment looking at this female and said "It was Love at first sight

I'm okay with anything as long as you're here"

He smiled sweetly and asked her where she normally sleeps.

Kasia pointed to the bedroom that She and Briar had been using and he ushered her and told Haran to put Briar in their bed so that they can rest properly. It's been a long day.

Without a moment's notice she was alone with Briar and they both had mates now.

Everything happens so fast. She'll definitely explain to her sister what happened and apologize profusely.

But it's crazy that two men they met today are now their husbands. No matter what, this is now a part of their fate so she was going to embrace it and try to come to love this man.

It's strange she felt so safe now and the mark on her shoulder was warm and comforting.
