Star Wars: The Last Je'daii

After an unexpected death and rebirth, Ian is reborn on the planet Lotho Minor. His grand journey begins with the uncovering of a piece of ancient tech; The Force System. The System isn't the cheating type, with inventory, store, levelling up, consumable 'stat points' and all that, but a more grounded one, a teaching/learning aid of sorts, it does have a stat board though. The chapters are short, but I update pretty regularly-- In fact, calling them chapters seems wrong there more like pages. Mc gets the system chapter 10, and the story at least at the beginning doesn't focus on him too much. It starts getting (In my opinion) really good around chapter 13.

Star Wars: Lascivious or Lusty...

Ian read through the ability board, and instantly honed in on the Tier one ability:

<Threat Sence // (0.5% of Skill Level Becomes Vague Passive Foresight)>

It was something he instantly recognised, an ability that every force-user in the films had used at one point or another, even the younglings that Yoda trained. It was what allowed the Jedi to deflect blaster bolts with seemingly inhuman reflexes, and what Anakin had used to escape the chains of slavery; winning a race in his self-crafted pod, despite only being a human child.

Ian looked at that skill hungrily... quite literally.

"So how does this work then? Do you just tell me what to do, and I have to figure it out? Or maybe 'magic' it directly into my mind?" Ian asked, getting fired up at the idea of learning a supernatural ability.

"Magic it into your mind? Humm, not exactly, and no I won't be just telling you what to do, otherwise, we could have quite easily just left a Holocron, and (--Beep--) Ugh." Illus answered, the system stopping her from finishing what she was about to say.

Ian's gaze was fixed on Illus's ghostly scaled face, hanging on her every word; waiting for her to continue speaking, incredibly curious about the system and the force. His eyes swelled; giving him the expression of a sad puppy begging for food and Illus was stunned for a second.

"Stop that... I'll tell you, so stop with 'that' expression, it's too... adorable." Illus said, holding herself back from trying to pinch Ian's cheeks; knowing that she physically couldn't.

Ian's face firmed up and he let out a cough, embarrassed at his unwitting look. Illus let out an almost reluctant sigh before continuing to speak.

"Memories, that is what we masters offer, glimpses into our use of the force, and of course, personal guidance as well. But how much you can grasp from the memory is up to you, and if you want to view it again it comes at a cost." Illus explained and Ian asked, "a cost?"

"Yes, a cost. Depending on how advanced the memory's lesson is, and how powerful the given memory is, you will have have to pay a fee, and the more technical the memory the higher that fee." Illus replied.

Ian rattled off a few questions, "Powerful, what do you mean? And why do I have to pay a fee? What kind of fee?"

"He-he, the fee is your rent... essentially, and it has to be paid back in the form of force-energy. Otherwise, the system would eventually run out, and without force-energy, it would stop functioning. The energy also has other uses but currently, that's all I can say on the matter." Illus answered partly, stopping for a moment to gauge Ian's reaction.

"Ok, ok, I get it, the system's rules prohibit you and all that... Then what about the 'power' of a memory, what does that mean exactly?"Ian asked again, seeing her watching him.

"What power means, at least in the context of memory; it is how 'emotional' the memories are. For example... oooh; there some of the stories I could tell you, like this one time..." Illus started reminiscing, basically telling Ian the highlights of her life. Her first crush, when she completed her Je'daii training... Her sexual conquests...

"Once after a ferocious battle me and Aspen... Uuw, Uuw, here's a juicy one, on a mission with Ray..." Illus chattering was suddenly interrupted, much to the appreciation of Ian, who had been staring at Illus slack-jawed as the lizard women boasted of her various... Battles.

{Tails of: The Lusty Argonian Je'daii Master // It popped into my head; so sorry, but I couldn't stop myself from bringing it to life.}

"Illus!" Ian heard the panicked shout of Ray.

"Ahum, ahum, maybe somethings are better left unsaid, don't worry Ray I will keep your 'big' secret," Illus said, flashing a flirtatious smile. "Ahh where were we?" she finished with.

"Force Sence... Memory Lessons, um... Let's leave it at that." Ian replied, hesitant, afraid that she would start monologuing again.

"Ah yes, the memory lessons... I'll warn you now, for some, its a rather unpleasant experience, feeling paralyzed; trapped in someone else's memory, and you don't want to try moving around, it will only make it worse, so... are you ready?" Illus cautioned, before asking Ian the question he had been waiting for.

"So you're putting me into the memory, alright... Im ready," Ian replied, psyching himself up, not knowing exactly what to expect, but wanting to quickly start learning.

Illus's phantomous blue claw reached out, tapping him on the forehead and Ian's eyes rolled back; leaving two vacant white orbs in their place.

The memory had started.

---

Ian found himself inside the body of Illus, and like she had suggested for him to do, he stayed still, not trying to move. He understood the logic behind her advice, after all, it was a memory; a recording of what had already happened, and if he tried to move around like he was in his own body it would only feel stifling.

Illus memory took place in a plain white room, the walls and floors gridded, with Illus sat in its centre.

A voice came out of Ian's, no, Illus's mouth. "Hello, disciple... This is probably going to be one of your first lessons, so concentrate hard and make future Illus proud, He-he." The memory had obviously been prearranged.

It was odd, Ian could feel the muscles in his head moving, without his will, to form Illus's words. He noticed the beating of a heart not quite like his own, the fangs in his mouth, and the scales forming his hide. Even though only recently he had been reborn into a new body, this experience was far stranger, as before he at least somewhat resembled a human... and was male.

"Temporary, it's only temporary," Ian comforted himself, feeling a certain 'appendage' missing.

Illus started her lesson:

"Force sense, can be considered as diffusion of one's self; a dispersal of your intent; your will, and a heightening of your senses; so that you can perceive with that will. Using it you can sense outside of yourself, seeing with it what is hidden, be that a simple object; obscured behind a wall, allegiances; hidden with a lie, or even the through the turbulent waters of in time itself." Illus spoke, serious, and sagely in her explanations, a far cry from her earlier self, or was that her future self?

Ian then felt it, as if there had always been something sitting inside him, threads buddled up tightly forming a ball, and under Illus's control, the thread slowly unravelled stretching out floating freely.

"This is the most basic form of Force Sence allowing you to diffuse yourself into your immediate surroundings. It facilitates up to Tier one of Force Sence, allowing you to sense around yourself, and with practice, give you a form of short term precognition."

Ian focused intently on the feeling of Illus using Force Sense, hoping to mimic it when he returned to his own body.

Never again will I try to do two, I simply don't have the time to write while keeping some semblance of quality with two chapters.
