Chapter 143: Durge Is Marked

Entering my personal quarters I went to retrieve my personal holoprojector from the nightstand next to my bed.

Once I did so I opened a communications channel to HK-47, and then waited for the snarky assassin droid to respond.

Which he did right away.

Not like other times when the bastard keeps me waiting five minutes. Even when I know he's not doing anything important. He's simply trying to get a rise out of me.

But that's just who he is, and I wouldn't have him any other way.

I'm guessing that's how Revan felt, seeing how he didn't erase HKs' core programming and memory when he began developing his snarky attitude.

But really, who can say?

"Salutation: Greetings master." A miniature holo-form of HK spoke to me.

"Hey HK." I replied. "So I've got a target for you that is hard to kill, and I need you to create options to do so. And I think you're really going to like this one." I spoke.

I then began explaining to HK-47 all about Durge, from his capabilities, that I knew of, too his species. I even told him why I needed ways to end the bastards life.

"So there it is." I spoke. After I finished telling HK about Durge, and why I needed ways to kill him. "I'll send all the data and information I have collected on him as well."

"Statement: That will be most helpful master. Also, I grateful that that small fleshy sack located in the cranial portion of your abysmally weak exoskeleton, which most meatbags refer to as a brain, has finally realized the truth of my capabilities and has finally allowed you to assign me a task worthy of them." HK spoke. The red color in his eyes gaining intensity after he did.

Telling me he is truly happy about being assigned the task of finding ways to kill Durge.

Well he said just now too, even if he insulted me while doing it. But once more that's just the way he is, and I wouldn't change him for anything.

"Right." I replied to HK's words. "So, when you do develop ways to kill Durge send them to me at your best speed."

"Statement: Yes master." HK-47 replied. "There is no need for you to worry. For soon the meatpile known as Durge shall cease to function, permanently."

"Meatpile?" I questioned.

"Statement: Yes. Explanation: Since this Durge does not possess an exoskeleton like you and many other organics master but is simply a mass of muscles and nerves with a conscience he is therefore nothing but a pile of meat. Thus I have designated him a meatpile." HK explained.

"I see." I replied. Chuckling lightly after I did.

To think there would be something alive that would ever refer to someone like Durge in such a manner.

But then again this is HK-47 so it's not honestly that much a surprise.

Though it does make me wonder how Durge would react if he heard it? Maybe I'll use it when we eventually meet face-to-face. Or better yet I'll have HK-47 use it, and let him handle Durge if he is with me when I meet the Gen'dai bastard.

Since once again, a fight between Durge and HK-47 is something I would pay to see.

Who knows, in the future I just might.

"Good one HK. Now then, have you taken care of the task I assigned you?"

"Answer: Yes master, it has been handled. The meatbag Ashaar Khorda and his meatbag followers are dead and I have retrieved the Force artifact known as the Infant of Shaa." He explained.

Bringing a smile to my face.

Since in the original timeline master Poof was only able to keep Infant from destroying Coruscant with the help of Jango Fett and Zam Wessell.

But since Jango is Manda'lor now, and I have no idea what Wessell is up to, there was no way I was going to trust dealing with that matter to Poof alone.

Especially since if he failed Coruscant would've been destroyed.

I couldn't take that chance.

Especially with so many innocent people that call that planet home. Not to mention I still have friends there. So yeah. Khorda and his followers had to hide.

Plus now I have access to a Force bomb that can literally tear a planet if I need to.

Not that I'm planning on blowing up any planets.

Right now at least.

Though in the future I can't say for sure. Since there are some worlds that might need blowing up.

Like Sidious' little fortress world Byss in the Deep Core.

I'd definitely blow the shit out of that place if push came to shove.

But again now unless I absolutely must.

"Good work." I told HK.

We then talked before a few more things before ending our communication.

*Knock Knock*

Then right after we did I heard a knock on my cabin door. Knowing exactly who it was.

"You can come in Serra." I spoke.

Since as a two years when the Rapid Response Taksforce was formed by alliance high command, Serra transferred to it. Not only to improve her own standing in the alliance military forces, but also so I wouldn't be alone.

For ever since the taksforce was formed two years ago we've been quite busy.

We travel all over alliance space, dealing with warlords, pirate bands, slavers, and even the occasional smugglers. As for why I say the occasional smuggler it's because we chose to engage them depending on the cargo they are carrying.

Since all of us in command of the taskforce know not all smugglers are bad.

Hell, some of the greatest heroes in the entire Star Wars universe started out, or have been, smugglers.

Booster Terrik, Mirax Terrik Horn, Talon Karrde, and of course my boy Han Solo. Not to mention many more. Let's also not forget the Smugglers Alliance that will exist in the future.

If I don't decide to help that organization along as well.

Eh, the future holds many possibilities.

A moment after I spoke my cabin door slid open and Serra stepped inside.

As it closed behind her she went to take a seat on my bed.

When she did I turned in my chair to face her.

"So, how did the meeting go?" She asked me.

"Fine." I replied.

I then gave Serra the full run-down of what was discussed in the meeting earlier. Since most of it is going to be made public anyway I see no reason to withhold it from her.

Though the instant I told her about Durge and in interest in me I sensed her worry spike. Along with her anger.

"Serra, there's no need to worry." I told her. "Everything is going to be fine."

"But you don't know that." She immediately retorted.

"You're right. I don't." I admitted. "But if I let that sort of thing bother me too much then Durge has already gained an advantage over me. And I refuse to let that bastard to do. Besides, I just finished up a chat with HK-47 and informed him about Durge and asked him to create ways to eliminate him."

"Damn, now even I feel a little bit sorry for Durge." Serra stated.

"Don't." I replied. "That bastard is going to get what's coming to him." I said.

"Right." Serra replied.

She then got up, walked over to me, and sat on my lap.

Which caused something to start rising, and it's definitely wasn't the shield hero.

Leaning into me Serra gave me a kiss, which I reciprocated.

We then both gave into the horny like have so many times before.
