Chapter 100: Rise of The Mandalorians Part III

A/N: So 100 chapters, yay!

------------------------------------------

(3rd Person: POV)

Upon hearing Van say his sister Aria was alive Jango felt the rage that was slowly receding inside of him bubble back up to the surface to explode again.

But before he could Van took another mini holoprojector out of one of the pouches on his belt, placed it on the table, and activated it. Sending holographic images up into the air.

The second Jango saw the new holographic images, any words he had died in his throat.

For displayed with the new information from the second mini holoprojector were images of a woman. Images Jango recognized as his sister, Aria.

It was a face he could never forget.

"W...where did you get this?" Jango asked.

"From reliable sources." Van replied. "And I understand if you don't believe me, but the woman you see is your elder sister, Aria."

"W...How?" Jango asked, choking up a bit as he did. "I thought she was dead."

"I'm sure you did." Van said. "But your sister isn't. No, instead she experienced a fate much worth than death." He spoke. Anger in his voice.

Since Van was truly disgusted by what Aria went through.

He told Jango how his elder sister was captured by 'Death Watch' and tortured by them for years until she willingly joined them and became an assassin in their ranks. Van also told them how 'Death Watch' abandoned Aria two years ago after she got arrested for a shooting and then thrown into the Valorum Center. A mental institution on Coruscant.

Listening to all of what Aria had gone through Jango saw red.

His gaze directed towards 'Death Watch'.

"Agh!!!" Jango screamed at the top of his lungs.

Van very glad he made sure the room he was using for the meeting had been sound-proofed.

Jango continued screaming for a few minutes, before finally stopping. "You'd said you reunite me with Aria, no matter what choice I made, correct?"

"I did, and you have my word I will." Van replied. "But be warned, your sister is not well at all. From the information my sources have been able to gather from her file at the Valorum Center Aria is extremely suicidal. Due to the feelings of immense guilt she feels after joining her captors, 'Death Watch' in their operations and activities. So when we get her out of the center she will need round-the-clock care and supervision lest she hurt herself or others." He explained.

"I understand." Jango replied. "And as for your offer, I've made my decision. I'll take you up on it." He said.

"Really?" Van questioned.

"Yes." Jango replied.

For hearing what 'Death Watch' had done all this time to his sister Aria was the straw that broke the camels back. He couldn't let those animals get away with such a thing.

Not ever again.

Thus a single spark re-ignited the flames within Jango Fett, which would slowly begin burning brighter and brighter.

Until he once more became Mand'alor.

"Alright then." Van replied to Jango.

He then released the man from his telekinetic hold.

Once he did so Van offered Jango his hand, the man grasping it and shaking it.

Thus sealing the deal between Jedaii and Mandalorian.

----------------------------------------------------

(Van: POV)

After Jango and I shook hands we talked about a few things, as well as exchanged communication details, and then the man left.

For he had to get back to his ship, Slave-I and check on his son Boba. Who he brought along with him and left with a nanny droid.

I put a wry smile on my face after Jango told this.

Well I mean when you're a galactic bounty hunter/mercenary with a kid you do what you've got to do.

Moving on.

Once Jango left the room Komari spoke up.

"Van, are you sure about this?" She asked me.

"I am." I replied. 'This is the best path not only for us, but for Jango, and the Mandalorians. Even if this doesn't result in them joining the Galactic Systems Alliance, or forming some sort of alliance with us. At least we can probably sign some sort of peace treaty with them should the worst come to pass when we reveal ourselves to the galaxy at large."

For I meant what I said earlier, I do respect and admire the Mandalorians and their culture. But that doesn't mean I'm going to leave myself and the people I care about vulnerable if I can help it.

"Okay." Komari replied.

Dooku choosing to stay silent.

A sentiment I appreciated.

-------------------------------------------

[Mandalore Sector, Concord Dawn System, Concord Dawn]

Standing upon a platform I stood next to Jango Fett.

The both of us in our armors.

Overlooking a group of numerous Mandalorians.

Some of whom I knew were looking at me with curiosity, and others with weariness, despite their helmets being on.

Along with a few of my own allies.

Namely Komari, Sia-Lan, Obi-Wan, Serra, and HK-47.

The first three dressed in their personal Jedi battle armors, that they recently just finished creating.

[Komari's battle armor]

[Sia-Lan battle armor]

[Obi-Wan battle armor]

Looking at the three I have to say, they look good in their armors.

Anyway.

A month and a half has passed since the chat Jango and I had on Myrkr.

Once we did Jango headed back to Kamino and withdrew from training the clone army. He then made his way to Concord Dawn in the Mandalore Sector and began slowing calling on any allies he had left to help in taking down 'Death Watch' and bringing back the ways of the 'True Mandalorians'.

Me and the others adding in our expertise and preparing of the battle in the Mandalore Sector as well.

Now here we all are, together.

Looking out amongst the crowd, of what is definitely over a hundred Mandalorians, I spotted some familiar faces.

Kal Skirata.

Fenn Rau.

Walon Vau.

Along with many others who were members of the Cuy'val Dar who originally trained the clone army of the Republic in the original timeline.

Though thanks to my butterfly effects that will now never come to pass.

But since I revealed the existence of the Republic's clone army to the galaxy at large so early I think things balance out. Especially with all those activists groups I've heard about in the past year taking interests in the rights of the clone army.

Yeah, with all those eyes on them the Kaminoan's need to be pretty careful on how they treat those guys.

And should the interests from the activist groups in the clones die down, then I will be there to remind them and the galaxy at large about them.

Truly, I am such a good humanitarian.

Moving on.

Jango whispered to me "I didn't think so many would answer the call." He said, in utter shock.

Though I can understand why.

After all that happened with the 'True Mandalorian' faction, and Jango distancing himself from the Mandalore Sector and his people for years he most likely thought he would be hated and resented.

But now he's seeing how wrong he was.

"Well life is full of surprises." I replied.

"Yes, it sure it." Jango replied.

Me sensing his confidence growing, and his feelings of apathy disappearing.

Good.

That means Jango is becoming the man he once was before events of Galdirann. He is once again becoming the Mand'alor.

Which is truly a beautiful sight to see.

Standing up straight Jango stepped forward, and raised his left hand high in the air.

The moment he did so all the whispers and murmurs in the crowd in front of us ceased, and the Mandalorians present gave Jango and I their undivided attention.

Seeing this Jango put his left hand down.

"My friends, thank you for answering my call and coming here." Jango said. "I am grateful, especially given how I have not been here to lead you, to guide you, despite me being your Mand'alor. I apologize for that, and I make you all a promise. I will never abandon my duties as Mand'alor again." He said. "For it has come to my attention that in my absence in my role as your leader our people are on the edge of another internal conflict, that might see us destroyed for good."

"What do you mean Mand'alor?" A female Mandalorian asked.

"I will allow my acquaintance here to answer your question warrior." Jango said.

He then stepped back and I stepped forward.

"Greetings Mandalorians." I said. "My name is Van Sunrider, and I am a Jedaii." I spoke.

Which sent a round of murmurs through the crowd. I also began sensing fear and distrust from some of the Mandalorians. But thankfully, the murmurs stopped.

"Listen well noble warriors, I may practice the ways of the Force, but I am no longer a lapdog of the Republic. For just like Jango Fett, your leader is seeking to change the ways of your people and culture, I to am seeking to change the way of mine." I said. "Now then warrior, as to your earlier question here is the answer. The 'Death Watch' is not dead."

Speaking for the next few minutes I told the Mandalorians present about 'Death Watch' and Pre Viszla being their leader, along with what the organization did to Aria Fett.

Who HK-47 managed to easily break out of the Valorum Center.

Currently she is on Exis Station, along with Boba, receiving treatment.

As I spoke I started sensing several emotions coming from the Mandalorians present.

Outrage, anger, disgust, revulsion, hatred aimed at 'Death Watch', murderous intent, etc.

Finishing speaking I stepped back and Jango walked forward again.

"Now you see my friends. Now you see why we must fight. For if we do not 'Death Watch' will get away with the atrocities they have committed. For we all know the New Mandalorians will not deliver the appropriate punishment to those savages. That is why it falls to us and our Jedaii allies, who brought this information to my attention in the first place. So I ask you, stand with me, fight with me, and together let us turn Mandalore and our people into what they can, no what they deserve to be!" Jango passionately spoke.

Once he finished the Mandalorians raised their fists into the air and began chanting Jango's name.

"Mand'alor !!!! Mand'alor !!! Mand'alor !!! Mand'alor!!!!!"

The chanting is music to my ears.

'Death Watch' and the New Mandalorians better look out.

For with this the 'True Mandalorians' are officially back.
