Chapter 94

The Terran Fleet, led by High Admiral Yona, was stationed above Mandalore to patrol and protect the system from any potential Imperial invasion. The Mandalorians also had their own fleet, working alongside the Terrans to defend their home. 

With the War on Mandalore over, Duchess Satine and the New Council of Clans began investing in the creation of a Mandalorian Navy to ensure the protection of their people.

Unfortunately, they lacked the necessary materials and resources to construct ships for defense against potential threats to their planet. In search of a solution, Duchess Satine turned to the Terran Ascendency and purchased ships from them. 

However, the cost of these ships exceeded their budget. In order to make the purchase more feasible, the Terran officials offered a compromise by reducing the price and providing a loan to the Duchess.

However, she would need to repay the loan within 10 years. This timeframe would give her enough opportunity to boost the Mandalorian Economy and fulfill her financial obligations. 

The initial purchase consisted of one dreadnought as a command ship, four retrofitted Venators, three Delta Class carriers, and five Terminus Class destroyers. The cost of the fighters was also included in the overall price.

This would serve as the starting fleet for the Mandalorian Navy at the moment. However, they still lacked the strength and numbers to match up against the Imperial Navy, who possessed far larger and more formidable ships than the Mandalorians. 

As the system was being monitored by patrols, Yona could be found on the planet's surface discussing matters with Duchess Satine and her sister, Bo-Katan.

Yona took a sip from her cup as she confidently stated, "In the event of an Imperial invasion, we will completely annihilate them. And the remains of their ships could be repurposed to build new vessels for the Mandalorian Navy."

Duchess Satine expressed her gratitude for His Highness' generosity and wondered how they could ever repay him. The people in the streets cheered his name, and even the warriors were eager to fight again, as they found joy in battling alongside him and his forces.

Bo-Katan teased her sister with a smile, "If you agree to Yrena and Yona's plan, you could see him every day."

Duchess Satine blushed as she responded, "I have a responsibility to my people; I can't prioritize my personal desires over their well-being."

Bo-Katan smiled as she said "Then I will just have him for myself then" Said Bo-Katan teasing her sister.

"You Can't" Duchess Satine covered her mouth before she said anything else.

"See sister your heart knows what you want" Said Bo-Katan

"Plus Master is a very rare specimen indeed" Said Yona talking about Alexander as if he was going to be used in an experiment.

Bo-Katan explained, "If you do this, it could fortify our household and potentially elevate your role from Duchess to Empress."

Duchess Satine gazed at her sister, and asked curiously, "But would you also marry him?"

Bo-Katan stated, "I don't mind being a concubine. It means I'll still be near him and able to do what I love most: fighting."

"Bo-Katan, don't fret. Master won't treat you any differently; in fact, he's completely unaware that we're organizing his marriage for him," Yona reassured.

"Why are you keeping it a secret from him?" inquired Bo-Katan.

Yona replied, "He tends to brush it off and claim he doesn't need an heir. But he fails to see how valuable someone like him is in the Galaxy. Leaving behind a dynasty would not only benefit the Royal House, but also the entire Galaxy."

Bo-Katan pictured in her mind a child who was half Mandalorian and half Terran, possessing the strength and fearlessness of Alexander. "Our children will be fierce warriors," she declared. "Their enemies will tremble at their feet." It was an image that filled her with pride and excitement, imagining the potential of such a legendary offspring.

Yona replied, "If you put it that way, there is no better partner for Duchess Satine than Master."

The three of them carried on their conversation, mostly discussing their future plans and questioning Yona about her efforts to recruit more women. All she could say was that she needed more people for the fierce battle against Alexander.

The thought made Duchess Satine blush, while Bo-Katan was eagerly awaiting for the arrival of their children in the future.

It was common for women to be drawn to strength, and with Alexander, that attraction was magnified due to the immense power he held.

Meanwhile back on Lehon Alexander had arrived back on the planet and was now meeting with Master Yoda who wanted to think him for saving the Jedi as he didn't get the chance to do it before.

Alexander was in his office when there was a knock at the door.

"Your Highness Master Yoda has arrived" Announced the Royal Guard.

"Let him in" Replied Alexander as he stood up from his desk.

 From the door Master Yoda walked in "A Pleasure to see you it is your highness" Said Master Yoda as he walked up to the desk.

Alexander walked from around the desk to greet Master Yoda "No problem Master Yoda I just didn't want the Jedi to be wiped from the Galaxy" 

"Unfortunate it was that the Clones we fought with had turned against is, lost many Jedi who trusted the Clones we did" Said Master Yoda as he looked to the ground.

"Despite the Jedi's defeat at the hands of the Sith, the fact that you are still alive means you have the power to correct what is wrong. The will of the Force has kept them alive, not my doing. Perhaps I was born for the purpose of aiding the Jedi, but only the Force knows for sure. What I do know is that you now have a chance to redeem yourselves," Alexander spoke with an attempt at wisdom, as if he were a Master in front of Master Yoda.

"just like every life has the force in them yes, sent here by the force to help us so perhaps you were." Said Master Yoda as he stared at Alexander sensing something different about the way the force felt around him.

"Yes, So let's discuss some thing's Master Yoda" Said Alexander as his faced turned serious.

"The Jedi can stay on Lehon for now until you can establish yourselves again" Said Alexander

"Search for the ancient Jedi worlds we will" Said Master Yoda "The Jedi thank you for giving them a place of refugee from the Sith so that we can still fight" Said Master Yoda as he walked towards the door.

Once he was gone Alexander sat back at his desk and stared outside of the window at the ship's coming and going from the spaceport and the people who were enjoying their lives.

He wanted to keep this peace for as long as he could.
