Chapter 302 Vs [Vajra] (3)

Cloud quickly increased his speed as he slashed with all his might at the [Aragami]'s body, only to notice how it seemed to not even feel pain from how fast he was counterattacking.

"This is bad..." - Sakuya said as her eyes widened in concern when she arrived on the scene and saw the blond's new appearance.

"Cloud is going through a process of [Aragamification]..." - Soma muttered as he clenched his [God Arc] shaped like a saw-edged sword - "We have to go help him and take him to the medical area so they can stop the activation of his [Oracle Cells]..."

"Relax, that's not [Aragamification]." - Lindow answered seriously as he gained the attention of his two companions - "Before I became the leader of this new squad, when I was still working as a lone soldier, I saw many [Aragamifications], and I can assure you that that's just a new form of Cloud's [God Arc]..."

"Are you sure?" - Sakuya asked as she looked at her leader.

"90% sure" - Lindow replied as he took out a cigarette and lit it - "But something tells me that thing Cloud is using is dangerous, so we'd better concentrate on giving him tactical support."

"An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, motherfucker!" - Cloud roared as [Incursio] penetrated [Aragami's] eye.

"AOOOOOOO!" - [Vajra]'s roar of pain was not long in coming as he released even more lightning from his body.

Cloud gritted his teeth as he felt his body seem to cook from the power of the electric current.

"ROAAAAAAAAAAAAR!" - [Vajra] roared as he watched the blond with his eye fiercely as he released a powerful lightning breath.

"!" - Cloud quickly leapt to dodge the attack, only to notice the claw in front of his face - "OK, this is going to hurt!"

Cloud flew away from the tiger-like monster's attack, only to notice the beast come out chasing him.

[Vajra] was about to attack, but jumped back when he felt the presence of Lindow who had appeared without him noticing - "ROAR!"

"Sorry, little kitty, but I can't let you keep playing pingpong with blondie" - Lindow replied as he shrugged his shoulders, only to jump back when he noticed how the furious beast was watching him coldly.

"I think it's time to get to work" - Soma said as he looked neutrally at the beast.

"You don't know how much I've held back" - Sakuya said as she pointed her assault rifle - "Come beast, I'm going to put a bullet in you for attacking my man!"

"Your man?" - Lindow asked with a huge grin on his face.

"Sh-Shut up!" - exclaimed Sakuya with a red face while shaking her head - "Ignore what I said, now let's concentrate on this battle!"

"Ok, but then I'm going to tell Cloud about this" - replied Lindow while dodging not only the [Aragami]'s attack, but also her teammate's attack.

"I think it's time for you to take this seriously, Senpai" - Soma said neutrally.

"Ugh... that hurt like hell..." - Cloud muttered as he groaned in pain. He could feel how his entire body had been torn apart by that last attack, though slowly the pain began to fade - "Though it's a relief that I have this passive ability..."

Cloud slowly closed his eyes, only to notice how his body seemed to have adapted to the pain - "OK, I understand... you're not going to let me rest for a moment..."

Cloud knew very well that at this moment the [Tyrant] was using the opportunity to corrupt him some more. With a quick movement, he deactivated [Incursio], only to feel how his body was now much heavier - "Ugh..."

[Incursio's Corruption: 35%]

[+350 to all Stats]

[Will: 400]

". . ." - Cloud closed his eyes for a few seconds before letting out a sharp sigh. He understood that such a drastic increase in his will was due to the fact that he had fully activated [Incursio], in the process making his instincts much more fierce.

"Etto... Are you okay?" - Lenka asked as he approached where the blond was standing.

"What are you doing here?" - Cloud asked as he gave the boy a look - "I thought we told you to take your partner [God Eater] out of here and get to safety?"

"I left that guy in a safe place, but something inside me told me to come and help" - Lenka answered seriously.

Cloud gave the rookie a blank look, only to let out a sigh, though his expression changed when he noticed the message that had appeared on his retina.

[Activating first decision: Destiny - Part 1]

[Lenka, the protagonist of this world has come to the combat zone despite the orders given to her because her destiny is to be in this place. As you enter this world as an anomaly, your destiny is not affected by the laws of this place so you can decide whether to follow the script or not]

[1- Kill Lenka, there is an 80% chance of getting one of his innate abilities as well as his prominence. This decision will cause your reputation to suffer a hard blow and your relationship with [Fenrir] will become Cold].

[2- Advise Lenka, help the boy to follow his destiny. Making this decision will make no change in the world and your relationship with Lenka will become a bit closer, there is a 25% chance of getting an Innate Skill from Lenka when your relationship enters the maximum same-sex ability level]

[3- Completely ignore Lenka and wait for them to come pick him up, this will make Lenka not fulfill his destiny. This option will cause Lenka's prominence to diminish, but you will not get any benefit]

". . ." - Cloud was silent as he read this while squinting his eyes. Killing the boy in front of him was an extremely easy thing to do, but honestly it wasn't an option he could accept because the boy had done nothing wrong to him. "Boy, you shouldn't be here" - Cloud said as he chose the second option. He decided he would follow the script, at least for now - "That thing is dangerous, look how it left me."

"I know, but I can't stand idly by while you guys fight that thing" - said Lenka seriously as he clenched his [God Arc] with all his might - "I came to [Fenrir] because I want to be strong, I don't want to keep feeling like a nuisance, I want to keep watching those beasts devour our human brothers."

". . ." - Cloud closed his eyes as he thought about how simple a protagonist's decisions were. They practically had such a basic line of thinking that one could practically be sure what they would do next, in the case of the boy he had in front of him, it was to throw himself into battle without a second thought in order to help his companions - "Ok.... I'm going to help you this time..."

Cloud slowly stood up and took the boy's weapon, a huge blue sword, only to open his eyes in surprise - "Oh? Did you complete it?"

"Complete?" - Lenka asked as he raised an eyebrow in confusion - "Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt you!"

"Relax, I'm not angry or anything" - replied Cloud as he shrugged - "And to answer your question, yes, complete"

"What do you mean, Mr. Cloud?" - Lenka asked with surprise.

"Sir?" - Cloud muttered as he was surprised to hear this because he never thought to hear something that would make him feel old, although in retrospect if he counted all the years he had lived, he would be the right age to be called 'Sir - "Ahem! Sorry about that, what I was trying to say, was that this [God Arc] is special."

"Special?" - Lenka asked as he frowned.

"Exactly, special" - replied Cloud as he handed the gun back to the boy, only for the boy to notice something strange - "A trigger?"

"Exactly, activate the [Oracle Cells] inside the gun with resonance" - Cloud answered seriously as he gave instructions to the boy - "After that I want you to concentrate your body's energy in your hands."

"Like this?" - Lenka asked, only to widen his eyes in surprise at the change in the weapon in his hands - "It transformed!"

"Exactly, this little one is based on my unique weaponry" - answered Cloud as he stood up. He could feel how his body had returned to normal, no, that was wrong, he was now much stronger than before - "As you may know, my weaponry has the ability to transform into different weapons, as for this little one, this [God Arc] has the ability to shape shift between a Long range weapon and a short range weapon."
