Chapter 16

Four Days later.

Boom

There was an explosion throughout a forest then there was the sound of swords clashing. Jumping out of the forest line was Ji-Yoon who had a smile on his face. Then appearing above him was Uriel frost reaper in hand swinging downward towards me reaching into a Gate of Babylon and pulling out a sword if it could be called that. The 'blade' of the sword has the shape of a cylindrical, drill-shaped pillar made up of three independently rotating segments engraved with crimson cuneiform with a gold grip and hand guard and the hand guard covered my hand.

I raised the sword and clashed with Uriel then the segments started to spin releasing red energy. I swung the sword knocking Uriel away. As I landed on my feet a man appeared to my left a fairly tall while his hair grew to waist-length with shoulder-length bangs framing the sides of his face, covering most of his right eye. Although still relatively young, more prominent creases had developed under each of his eyes. At times, he wore crimson armor with numerous metal plates, forming protective guards along his chest, waist, shoulders, and thighs. His eyes were blood red with three black tomoe in each eye and his hand was an orange-brown gunbai which had a long black chain running up it.

The man swung the gunbai and a massive gust of wind knocked me back looking behind me standing was Aizen with his and in the air reciting a chant.

"Seeping crest of turbidity. Arrogant vessel of lunacy. Boil forth and deny. Grow numb and flicker. Disrupt sleep. Crawling queen of iron. Eternally self-destructing doll of mud. Unite. Repulse. Fill with soil and know your own powerlessness!! Hado number 90 Kurohitsugi!"

The sky appears to darken as multiple boxes of black energy appear, each of them topped off with cross-shaped spears before they multiply and enclose me. Landing on my feet I felt the heightened gravity force down on me.

"Ok, time to get serious." Mana exploded off my body and with a roar my mana shattered the Hado spell.

As the spell shattered I saw Madara casting a technique.

"Katon: Gōka Mekkyaku." then a sea of flames was expelled from his mouth.

I prepared to cast a water-based attack but my body was suddenly frozen in place by two separate means from the corner of my eye I could see thin threads binding me and I could see a faint purple hue around my body. Turning my head with a lot of force to my left I saw Mio standing there with a giant clock behind her with two guns in her hands one flintlock pistol and a musket and to her left was a girl who looked like she was in her early teens. She has short black hair, with a pure white strip on her bangs. Her skin is a light, healthy tone and her eyes are an unnatural red. She wears a tube-top and hot-pants outfit, adorned with straps around her waist and legs. Along her back is a stripped cape with a high-fur collar. This cape has eight strips which represent her spider-like nature.

'Huh, not bad.'

The sea of flames consumed me and then multiple bolts of black lightning came crashing down on me causing a massive explosion. Then my body started to release energy erasing both the threads and the time distortion. Jumping out of the smoke and dust just in time to get out of the way of a slash from a male with long silver hair and deep golden eyes gives off an otherworldly divine beauty he looked androgynous albeit girly 15 to 16-year-old adolescent. The main outfit from this point consists of black pants and a black sleeveless long shirt accented with white boots and white stripes respectively. The arms have black detached long sleeves with golden ornaments at the top as well as a golden collar piece around the neck. The white rope-like belt has a metal loop at the back for the purpose of tying the scabbard of a sword. They can also occasionally be seen wearing a cloak over top of this outfit.

Looking around I realized that I was surrounded. Preparing to attack once more I felt a sword pressed against my back.

"Huh?"

"Bararaq Saiqa."

I was suddenly blasted by a massive bolt of lightning that sent me through two mountains. I got up groaning in pain.

"I'm getting jumped I started it but I'm getting jumped."

Appearing in front of me were the rest of my 'opponents'.

"Master you are the one who agreed to this you are aware," Uriel said

"I know it was a bad idea," I said regenerating from my injuries.

I got up brushing off my outfit.

"Thanks for obliging me with this guys."

"It's not a problem master."

"Yeah, Mio, Rimiru, Sinbad, and Ariel with me."

"Right!"

I created a portal back to the main dimension. Strolling through the portal appearing on the roof of the house I turned my attention to Sinbad and Ariel then spoke.

"You two know what to do move out."

"Right!" and with that they vanished in a burst of speed.

I shifted my outfit to my hunter attire and put on my mask Mio shifted into a black suit and Rimuru shifted into his demon lord outfit.

"Alright, you two let's go." I vanished from my spot with the other two following.

I decided to run to my destination instead of teleporting I found it nice to just stretch my legs. A lot has happened in the four days I was in my personal dimension after I created Mio I went on to create two more monarchs Madara and Ariel and two more Rulers Rimuru and Sinbad. Throughout the four days, I also started to spar with the Monarchs and Rulers I had created and through this process, I ended up raising my stats.

All I have to say about that little training arc was that it was painful very painful but hey it got the job done. I would occasionally leave the dimension so Jinah wouldn't get suspicious. Now with my current strength, I can comfortably say that I can fight any S-ranked hunters and win so what I'm doing today is I'm going to do a re-evaluation. It didn't take me long to arrive at the Hunter Association building landing outside the building I walked in with Rimuru and Mio following closely behind. As soon as I stepped in I saw a familiar face.

"Hey, Jin-woo!"

Jin-woo who was talking to one of the assistants turned to look at me and he gained a slightly surprised look on his face not expecting to see me.

"Void, what are you doing here?"

"Oh me that's simple I'm here for a re-evaluation. Aren't you?"

Jin-woo nodded I walked over to the receptionist's desk and asked for a form for a re-evaluation which I signed. Then one of the assistants walked up to me and led both myself and Jin-woo to another waiting room with more people waiting as well. Jin-woo sat next to one another and Mio and Rimuru sat next to me. Eventually, I zoned out playing with mana strings until I sensed Jin-woo's mana in the testing room with an amused look on my face I got up and walked into the room since no one was there to stop me.

"Just a moment. We'll try again. Huh? This never happened before. I'm sorry we'll try once more." the woman at the machine where the score would pop up was freaking out.

"There is no need for that," I spoke

The woman and Jin-woo turned to look at me.

"Mister Void you shouldn't be in here yet."

"Calm down, Jin-woo take your hand off the orb."

Jin-woo looked at me and then complied then the machine returned to normal I walked towards the orb that was testing Jin-woo's mana.

"The reason why the machine was malfunctioning is because Jin-woo has too much mana for it to be calculated. Something like this for instance." I said placing my hand on the orb.

I mana started to channel my mana into the orb and the orb started to glow white. In my prereferral, I could see the screen on the machine flashing red. Then cracks started to appear on the orb and smoke started to be emitted from the machine then the orb shattered and as it did a man walked into the observation room with the woman.

"What happened?!" the man asked.

"I'm not sure, sir when I was doing Jin-woo's re-evaluation the machine was reading his mana as an error then Void entered the room and told Jin-woo to remove his hand from the detector when he placed his hand on the detector, and the machine overloaded and got fried and the orb shattered."

After the man heard the explanation gained a shocked look on his face and started sweating he then asked the woman.

"... how long have you been working here?"

"It's been six months… did I do something wrong?"

"No. Get Chang-Shik over here immediately."

"Huh?"

"The washroom isn't the important issue right now. Get him over here quickly!"

"Assistant manager? What's wrong?"

"This isn't an error. It's 'Immeasurable' do you not understand what that means? It means our detector is incapable of measuring their magic power!"

"What? Then? They are South Korea's 10th and 11th….!"

"That's right they are S-ranks."

While the two Hunter Association people were talking I and Jin-woo were having a conversation of our own.

"Soo Jin-woo I see you became stronger last week when I saw you last week you were barely S-rank but now you're much stronger what's your secret?"

"That's none of your concern."

"Aw come on."

"That's none of your concern," Jin-woo replied, his expression firm.

"Aw, joy kill."

After a while, the man started to lead us out of the room and I started the conversation.

"I apologize for the detector."

"Uh, it's no problem your and Jin-woo's magic was beyond its capability to be measured. I need to get permission from the higher-ups to use a more precise detector can you visit us again after three days?"

"Sure," I said with a shrug and Jin-woo nodded.

It was then sensed a large mana signature entered the building and Rimuru and Mio stood up to my left and right.

"Huh? That's…"

"No way!"

"South Korea's best guild 'Hunters'...!! A representative from that Hunters!? It's Choi… Choi Jong-In!!"

"Why is a man called the 'Ultimate Soldier' here?"

Choi is a lanky young man with red hair in a curtain hairstyle that is parted over the left side of his right eye. He wears a red-striped business suit.

'They call this Ultimate?'
