"Goal!" Cheryl jumps as she just kicked the ball into the goal.
"Ok, I'm kicking this back to you! Watch out!" Oliver kicks the ball out of the goal. The ball flew so far, it could literally fall at any time.
"Joey! Watch out," Eleanor says to Joey, but before Joey could even move, the flying soccer ball had already hit his head, causing him to fall to the ground.
"JOEY!!!" Taylor and Eleanor both screams as they run towards Joey. The other students also gather around to see Joey.
"Let's take him to the nurse's office," Taylor says to Eleanor.
"Yeah! Let's go," Eleanor replies to her sister.
At the nurse's office...
"Well Joey..it's good to know that there's no damage in you. The hit from the ball just got you feeling a bit dizzy, but it will get better," The nurse explains to Joey, Taylor, and Eleanor.
"Thank you nurse," Taylor thank the nurse.
"You're welcome kids," the nurse replies to the trio before leaving the room.
"Are you feeling better, Joey?" Eleanor ask while looking at him in the face.
"I'm fine, just a little dizzy," Joey replies to Eleanor while touching his head. "Man, I didn't know Oli had a high kick."
"None of us knew," Taylor replies to her best friend. "But it's good to know that you're ok," Taylor continues her sentence.
Joey smiles at his best friends. He then look down at their knees and saw that they were dirty.
"Umm..guys, your knees," says Joey while pointing at both Taylor and Eleanor's knees.
"Oh..we got panicked when the ball hit you. We bend our knees on the ground, so I think we got them a little dirty," Eleanor explains to Joey.
Joey later grabs some cottons and water. He wet the cottons with the water, and bends down to clean both Taylor and Eleanor's knees.
"Umm..Joey, it's ok. You don't have-" Taylor was about to finish her sentence.
"It's fine! Don't worry about it," Joey says to Taylor while still cleaning both her and Eleanor's knees.
Taylor's POV...
You're just making it harder for me to just see you as the person I knew from childhood. You're more than a brother, but how will I ever be brave enough to confess? I feel like I'm loving my own brother. Joey, don't make me fall for you in a way. What will my sister think if we ever get into a relationship? All this time, she could even be loving you, and I wouldn't even have any idea. Just like me..when did I start having different feelings for you?" I thought as I kept my eyes on him. He was cleaning our knees with affection. This guy..can he stop giving me so much attention of affection?
Eleanor's POV...
How will I ever see you the same way again? How can I stop feeling this way, when you always give me attention and affection? These days you seem closer with my sister, and I don't want to hurt her if she actually have feelings for you. One thing, she's been acting different since the play. I just don't want to ruin a good relationship. Me? I wish I knew when did I start falling for you." I thought as I look at my best friend, who had just finished cleaning me and my sister's knees. Wow, love triangle is hard!
"Done," says Joey to both Taylor and Eleanor.
"Thanks, Joey," Eleanor says while looking at her now clean knees.
"Yes, Thanks Joey," Taylor replies to her best friend with a smile.
"You're welcome girls," Joey replies to the girls with a smile.
After school...
"Bye girls! My chauffeur's here," Joey says as he waves goodbye to both of his best friends. The girls waves back at him before he enters his car.
At Joey's house...
Joey is reading a book in his room. A mystery novel, which is his favorite. He then heard a knock at his door.
"Come in," Joey says.
A tall figure with brown hair enters the room. It was his older brother, Kyle.
"Bro! Mom just told me that she wants you to finish your homework, before reading that book again," says Kyle to his younger brother.
"I already finished all my homework! That's why I'm reading this now," Joey replies to his older brother.
"That's good bro," says Kyle. He then walks near the door. He was just about to exit when he sees a photo near a small table near the door. It was a picture of Joey, Taylor, and Eleanor, together at the arcade.
"So...how are the girls?" Kyle asks Joey while looking at the photo.
"They're good," Joey answers, not leaving his eyes from the book.
Kyle stares at the photo for a few seconds, before asking his younger brother another question.
"And you haven't date any of them?" Kyle ask in curious.
Joey looks at his brother before replying. "They're my best friends, bro! They are my sisters, not lovers," Joey says with confusion on his face.
"Bro.. I think you're really missing the point here," says Kyle to his younger brother. He managed to make Joey close the book and focus on him.
"What do you mean?" Joey asks Kyle.
"Joey..these girls like you," Kyle tells Joey with a serious look.
"Bro, of course they like me! I'm like a brother to them," Joey answers casually.
"You really can't read their expressions, can you?" Kyle ask his little brother.
"What?" Joey ask, still not getting a clue that his best friends like him.
"Bro..Taylor and Eleanor likes you! As in, LIKE," Kyle says to his now surprised younger brother.
Joey was surprised on what he just heard. "Like as in..like love?" Joey ask his brother. Kyle gives him a nod, which made him more surprised.
"Wow," Joey says, he is now literally out of words. All of a sudden, he just heard from his brother that both of his best friends like him? This was all too new for him.
"I'm good in reading people's faces, if you forgot. Anyway, take care of them, Joe! They're good girls," Kyle says, before leaving the room and closing the door.
Joey was left alone in shocked. All this time, he had no clue that both Taylor and Eleanor had feelings for him. When did it start? Was it the play? Maybe that's for Taylor, but what about Eleanor? With all these thoughts running in his head, Joey eventually thought about his own feelings for the girls.
But what about me? Do I even like one of them? Joey thought.
To be continue...
