[Ore Dungeon]

After killing all the moving masses of ore, which took five days, I managed to become level 39. I also got the passive stat growth skill, Dwarven Dexterity.

[Fairie Dungeon]

After killing all the spirits, fairies, and anything in-between, I defeated the boss, finishing the dungeon. I was now level 62. I managed to get the passive stat growth skill, Elven Agility.

[Spider Dungeon]

After burning their entire nest to the ground with my new spell, Fireball, I cleared the dungeon. I also got the passive skill, Eight Eyes and, the active skill, Web Spinning. I became level 71.

[Orc Dungeon]

This one was hard. It took me nearly a month to beat. I had to keep using Hibernate and putting off death to even survive. Orcs are scary. I became level 83 and got the passive stat growth skill, Orcish Vigor.

[Giant Dungeon]

The difficulty keeps spiking. The need for a class was getting clearer and clearer to me. But, I did manage to clear it. I became level 89 and got the passive stat growth skill, Giant's Strength.

[Automaton Dungeon]

I killed the boss. I was now level 100, and I obtained the passive stat growth skills, Rock Skin and, Mental Hardware.

The skills, Rock Skin and Tough Skin, combined to form Steel Skin.

Finally, after a five month intensive grind... It was time to go home and sleep.

I woke up, a familiar ceiling above me. My entire body felt full of power, yet I didn't want to get up, even after sleeping for a week. But I had to.

"System, evolve my race," I said.

'Hmm. Exalted Demon is pretty good, but... Mourning Demon Unlocks more possibilities for my next evolution, synergizes with the necromancer class, and also increases wisdom which I'm sorely lacking,' I thought to myself.

I selected The Mourning Demon, and then I could feel it. In real time, I could see my body changing.

My white skin became a muted gray, my nails a deep black. Then I felt it, my skull and shoulder blades... Two black horns protruded from my forehead, and raven like wings spreaded behind my back.

I was officially a demon.

In the game's lore, Lesser Demons were once humans or any other humanoid race who became corrupted with demonic energy. Lesser Demons basically looked the same as before they became corrupted.

"Good," I said brusquely.

For all these stat growth skills... I had to drink giants blood, betray orcs I befriended, eat spirits, eat fairies, and eat the flesh of an elf, absorb the soul of a dwarf, and then, finally, install a chip from the automatons into my head.

I had to do a lot of terrible things to a lot of creatures. Some were just monsters, others, intelligent creatures. I felt like I had officially earned my title of "Demon."

I could sit here and ponder about all the things I had done for hours, but I wouldn't. While I may be a demon, I was still human, I had decided. The sadness and guilt, while faint, was indeed there. While demons may feel many things, so much so that they're "human like," but sadness and guilt for the ones they killed were not one of them.

I had just done what any human desperate to survive would do. Sacrifice others for my own gain, and I was okay with that. I had never thought of myself as a good person in the first place. But only now, did I realize what lengths I'd go to, and trust me, it was far.

'I guess I need to go see Greed,' I thought. I was... hesitant to see another one of the sins to say the least.

Sitting up with a sigh, I got off the bed, and headed to my desk. Picking up the magic fountain pen, I started writing a letter to Greed.

'Dear Greed,

May this letter see you well.

This is to notify you that I'm coming to your Domain. I have things of great value, that I'm sure you'll love.

Sloth.'

Greed. The creature with the largest treasury in all the realms. Filled with all sorts of things he deemed of value. Including magical tomes and grimoires.

Meeting him I'll strike three birds with one stone. While it'd be worrying, I couldn't wait.

Hopefully it all goes well.

Using my new racial skill, Summon Raven, a magic circle appeared on my palm. Out popped a raven, perched on my hand after a small flash of light. Rolling up the letter, I handed it to my raven and sent it off to greed.
