Training and Torturing... Same thing? (13)

I can't keep my cool after seeing that destructive power. The moment I got up from the roof, I sat in a meditative state and calmed my mind. I trained chakra all these years but I haven't been able to do anything remotely that cool.

The only thing that I have been able to do was reinforcing my body with chakra making me strengthen my strikes more than usual. But comparing that to what the fox and purple samurai did. It's laughable. I need to be able to reach their level.

Unfortunately for him, he didn't know any technique that chakra could do. Reinforcement was what he only knew so he focused on it. He kept working on it for hours until someone barged in the rooftop.

When he turned back he saw Velvet there looking at him while panting heavily. "Faith! School is starting! Don't tell me you forgot!?" Right! School is still a thing. He quickly got up and went with them. His team waited for him at the door.

"Why didn't you go to our room to sleep? Don't tell me you slept on the roof." Coco looked at him with disappointment.

"It's not as bad as you think. It's like sleeping on the sofa after your girlfriend and you had an argument that you can't win and reluctantly gave up. Accepting the consequences."

Yatsu chimed in and intervened. "That was oddly specific but we're almost late so let's run to class." He began running leaving them. "Well 'Team Leader', one of your subordinates abandoned the rest of us. Don't you think punishment is necessary?" They soon quickly followed Yatsu to class.

"Hmm. What do you have in mind?"

I began laughing. "Well I was thinking increasing training. Tomorrow there's no school so how about it." We both began talking about plans on how to tort- I mean tease Yatsuhachi. But I swore I heard someone saying 'I have joined a team of maniacs.' I thought it was Velvet but she would never say that. She's too nice to say something like that.

(Now that I think about it, they're like a group of siblings. I'd say Yatsuhachi is the big brother, Velvet is the cute little sister, Faith and Coco are the annoying twins that are in the middle. Always annoying and using their siblings.)

The day went by quickly. And they all went to sleep preparing for their next day. I woke up early at the exact time of 6:15 and did my daily routine of brushing my teeth, taking a shower and eating PB&J. It was now exactly 6:40 and I was about to do the most annoying thing to anyone. I took a deep breath and...

"Wake up you lazy b*tches!! We're about to go training immediately!" The scream immediately woke them up as they fell from their bed at the surprise. A couple of groans was heard. "Get yourselves ready! I want all 3 of you ready and be at a private training ground at exactly 7:10! If even one of you isn't there, I will double the training!"

They soon got up and prepared themselves. At 7:10, they were all here but were all tired or were half asleep. "All right maggots! Get your body ready! And no I didn't mean it that way Coco so let's start with doing some warm up."

I went to my bag and picked a couple of things before getting back to them. "Alright I already have a plan on what to do today. So we will follow the schedule. I don't want to see anyone complaining like a twat because they aren't able to handle such simple training. Velvet!"

I look at her with a glare and I could see that she was afraid. Her ears always respond to her emotions and right now they were lowered in a sad/cute way. Everything she does is cute. Get back to the topic Faith! "I have a special arena that I personally made in this academy. I've been using it for a while so you will use the obstacle course. If you get past the first level than you can get a break of 20 minutes before going to the next level. Got it."

She nods her head profusely. "I can't hear you soldier!"

Velvet gritted her teeth and shouted on top of her lungs. "Yes sir!"

"Good! You can go over the obstacle right now. Seems like at least one of you has enough will to go through hell."

'Did he just say hell?' A moment of doubt was placed inside their heart.

"You two will be training with me. Don't worry I'll be with you all the way." A sigh of relief they didn't they had was released. "Yes, that's right… I'll be with you. We'll be sparring for every single millisecond until Velvet finishes her obstacle course."

Yatsuhachi couldn't take it anymore and yelled out. "I thought you said that you'll be with us!" A small chuckle escaped my mouth. "That's right. You both will be going up against me. We'll be testing your teamwork, strength and combat prowess. You should be able to survive since you're not alone."

At this moment, I activated my scales and Sharingan while running at Yatsuhachi signalling the start to this fight. I personally wanted to know how far I could get by strengthening myself with chakra. I normally used it for burst of speed or when I launched an attack. Making my attack heavier and my speed faster. But this time I would constantly keep it up circulating the chakra I had in my body.

I launched myself at him with a kick. He quickly reacted and brought his sword to block it but I used it as a stepping stone, holding his head and kneeing him in the face making with activate his aura and disorienting him enough for me to charge at Coco who already had her gun ready to shoot. Only waiting for Yatsuhachi to get out of the way.

Activating her semblance, she shot out a horde of bullets at me. I pulled out my spear and went to the side dodging them and blocking a few who were to close. I could feel my hands stinging from her bullets. 'Her semblance really is strong. Simple but effective.' I tossed my spear like a javelin with a powered shot at her head on. When she saw what I was about to do, she quickly transformed her weapon back to her suitcase and blocked my spear pushing her off balance but disarming me.

Only for I to jump up and grab the spear and swinging it down with all my might. Luckily for her, Yatsu came here in time and pushed her out of the way and blocking my attack. I back off a bit and fire a couple of shots which were quickly blocked by him. Coco fired again but I was too close now for her to recklessly shoot.

Yatsuhachi was there waiting for me swing his weapon down at me. I easily saw through it and twirled the spear and hit his sword just enough for it to divert from its trajectory missing me. I jump up and kick him sideways in the head. The spear was out now and I swung it at Coco's hand disarming her suitcase that she had prepared to transform into her minigun. I easily trip her and made her fall to the ground.

"This is embarrassing. Is that all you guys can do? After all that big talk, you guys can't even do anything against me! It's been 1 minute and you're all down. Of course 1 minute in a fight is long and I don't expect a 3 hour fight but I expected more from you. Get up! We're starting again!"

I turned around and looked at Velvet to see her progress. At that time, Velvet had just fell off her obstacle course and saw the state they were in.
