Chapter 10

Erskine woke up and looked at his surroundings .He did not remember much after the people at the base were trying to carry him to the hospital .just as he was about to get out of bed Sam came inside .

"so, you were alive hu?"asked Erskine in a sad tone he was not at all happy with the tricks that Sam had played on him and the others at the base .

"ya" Sam just agreed to it

"so where am I " asked Erskine

"before I tell you that let me show you something"said Sam his shadow came out and then took form of Sam .

Erakine's mouth was left wide open .

"That day hydra attacked me, but I was saved due to this power .I don't know where I got it from but at that time all I wanted was revenge on hydra so I tried to kill Schimidt and I succeed but then I realized if I could use the power and resources that Schimidt had for protecting people it would be so much better ."

"Sam I don't agree. you have changed too much "

Erskine still had an aversion to hydra, and he felt like the Sam in front of him was not the same as before.

Sam ignored Erskine remark and said

"so let me ask you a question what would you do after the super soldier experiment succeeded?would you go on creating an army of them as I don't think that would make things any better than they are now the war would never ..."

"I was going to suicied"Erskine cut Sam of and said

Sam had expected this kind of answer

"That's the reason we need Hydra so that we can hide and show our selves when the time is right and there will be no threat of their betrayal because you know the loyalty of these brainwashed soldiers"

Erskine was still hesitant it took nearly a week for Sam to convince him .

"so what is your order suprem leader"

said Erskine in a teasing manner .

Erskine had already guessed that his friendship with Sam was not the only reason due to which Sam had saved him.Sam controlled the embarrassment he was feeling as the old man read his thoughts like a open book and said "I have two jobs for you first is to create a weaker version of the super soldier serum and the other one is a serum to stop people from aging ."

Erskine's mouth opened wide he tried to clear him ears, and then asked "did I hear that right or my ears are hearing things "

"no you heard it right "

"the weekend version should not be a problem, but the other serum, I don't think I will be able to complete it before I die ."

" use the weekend version on yourself you should be able to live atleast 50 to 60 years more "said Sam in a firm manner closing all exit routs for Erskine .

"tch, won't let your own teacher and friend live in peace "

groaned Erskine

but Sam could already see the excitement in Erskine's eyes .

Sam knew that for a scientist like Erskine knowledge and funds for his experiments are the most important things,, and that's exactly what he had delivered to Erskine with only 2 requests.Erskine could never refuse such a tempting offer.

Erskine left Sam's room .

Sam then thought about the request he made for one last time to see if he needed to make changes to it .

'The main reason for the weekend version is that it will not have the side effect of amplification of my feeling and the age serum is necessary as I don't know how many years, I may have to live in a different worlds '

Sam spent the next 6 months training with different weapons and his shadow power .

To understand his own power properly Sam made a unit to understand and weigh the shadow energy . After setting the measurement, he looked at how his shadow energy had grown throughout his journey.

-first time when he got his power without the energy serum it was nearly 20 units

-after taking the energy serum it grew to 1000 units

- After coming to the marvel world some restrictions were removed and his shadow energy multiplied by 5 time and was 5000 units.

-and currently after mastering its use it was 5300 units

but the greatest increase was the efficiency of using it which had doubled in the past 6 months.

Sam was currently in the middle of the training ground with hydra agents coming from all sides.He engaged in fist to fist combat with 5 of them at the same time .

He hit the first one flying with a fist and dodged the kick sent by the second guard by bending and swiping his leg to make the guard fall .The other guards attacked together in response to their team attack Sam gymnastically locked a guards neck in his legs and launched him at other guards .all the guards were defeated and were lying on the ground they got up after the fight as if used to all this and retreated.

Sam did not feel happy with his current training .His mission was over and now all he had to do was to wait for the serum to be made . And from the past few days he feels that training with these guards was not helping in his growth anymore.

'I need someone at my level to help me grow my strength' thought Sam as he left the training room.

While walking Sam suddenly started laughing

John the head of security came rushing and asked Sam

"leader what happened I heard a scary noise "

Sam did not know that John made this remark genuinely, so black lines appeared on his head when heard John call his laughter scary.

Sam just ignored it and said

"nothing yet but it will soon happen"

John shivered ,he felt his spine go cold .

'God please save the person from our leaders wrath for some reason I feel scared .'

prayed John as he saw Sam's figure disappear from his place .
