7 The Beauty : Ms. Deng Tia

Rong Chi understood that Tang's pace was reducing so he started using more force on his strokes using his saved-up energy to catch up with Yan Xuan.

On other hand Yan Xuan was focused on the finish line with his handsome face showing no signs of exhaustion at all. He was using only half of his strength and is saving up energy for some reason.

There was some yelling from spectator stand, "It seems that Yan Xuan is saving up his energy for the tussle at the end."

I turned towards XiXi and asked, "What last tussle is that person referring to?"

With complicated expressions she replied, "OH its always this situation that Rong Chi and Yan Xuan fight for the 1st position and it is said that as of now Rong Chi is the only person who can fight with Yan Xuan till the end."

She gave me a smile and said, "They are both best friends but when it comes to swimming contest, both of them behave like they are enemies and always have a healthy competition amongst themselves."

Mo Hua was happy to know that even though they are competitor but that didn't affect their friendship.

She grabs hold of XiXi's hand and said, "XiXi, no matter what, we will stay like this forever. Right?"

XiXi nodded her head happily.

Mo Hua slightly patted her hand and said, "Even if in future we have to be on opposite sides due to some reasons, it should still not affect our friendship. Okay?"

XiXi was very sensitive. And when it came to Mo Hua, she was over protective and affectionate as she spent almost entire life till now with her. With almost choking voice, she said, "MoMo, I will always be on your side no matter what. But just in case if such situation occurs, I promise I will not let it affect our relationship. You are more like a sister than a friend to me."

Mo Hua saw tears ready to flow from XiXi's eyes, so she immediately pulled her in her arms and gave her a side hug.

Just as they were not focusing, the swim contest had reached its end which can also be a turning point.

There were commentators shouting with continuous remarks rising the anticipation and excitement of the surroundings,

"And we are at the final few moments of the contest."

"Anxiety is rising that who would win this contest? Yan Xuan or Rong Chi?"

"Rong Chi seems stronger than before."

Everyone was holding their breath in anticipation.

"Here comes Rong Chi with great force side by side to Yan Xuan."

Both of them nodded at each other. Both took a dip inside water again and started stroking with full strength.

"Yan Xuan is lagging behind. Rong Chi is moving faster this time."

Unknown of the reason but Mo Hua's eyes closed naturally and she was praying for something. She was trying to hear the comments from people but not daring to open her eyes.

"Is it the day that Yan Xuan's record will break?" The person sitting behind her asked his friend.

She ignored the negative comments and tried to focus on the face she saw today morning with those obsidian black eyes staring at her with unknown emotions.

Yan Xuan wanted to win today as the love of his life was watching him from audiences stand for the first time. And moreover, she had given him a beautiful smile before the contest begun. So, he didn't wanted to disappoint her.

When Mo Hua's smiling face flashed in front of Yan Xuan's eyes, he suddenly felt more stronger and some unknown passion was driving him crazy to win this contest.

He started with long strokes splashing water behind in high speed. For spectator it was a view as if Yan Xuan was chasing something, he is afraid to lose.

All were sitting on the edge of their seats.

Commentators said, "Woah!! Yan Xuan is swimming with crazy speed. It seems like he is determined to win."

Just then someone from spectators exclaimed, "He is moving in ghostly speed… Wow…"

Yan Xuan raised his head from water for a moment to calculate the approximate distance between him and the finish line and then again took a deep dive in water.

He was long legged and more agile than Rong Chi giving him advantage for longer strokes.

Just with few strokes he surpassed Rong Chi and started swimming with enormous speed like that of a sports car towards the finish line.

Mo Hua's eyes were shut but she was feeling happy from inside. There was no specific reason but she knew she was supporting him to win this contest.

In the very next moment, everyone saw a hand tapping the finish pole on other side of the pool.

There was an uproar and everyone in audiences was yelling and shouting to cheer for the winner of today's contest.

Commentators were continuously repeating, "Its Yan Xuan again. He is still the Aqua King."

"He won today's competition."

"There was bidding of 90 thousand yuan over him and the winners will get a free pass for next tournament."

When Yan Xuan was announced as a winner, he was directed straight to the locker room. He wanted to find Mo Hua but his coach was more worried of Yan Xuan catching cold so he didn't let Xuan waste any moment near the pool area.

Mo Hua was feeling a bit sad that she didn't get to see Yan Xuan as all contestants surrounded him to celebrate while dragging him straight in the locker room.

A girl with dainty figure but cute face came up on little podium built for the award ceremony. She was the host for the final ceremony.

With her pleasant voice she said, "Hello Everyone, this is Ling Chu and I am here to host the final ceremony for today's contest."

When she saw everyone taking their seats, she continued, "Now, please welcome today's highest bidder – Mr. Deng Wen, Chairman of FirstGen Informatics which is a leading company in game development industry."

Mr Deng stood up from VIP stand and started walking towards the podium. Following him was a young girl probably in her early 20's.

She was wearing pink off shoulder floral dress with her hair loosely hanging down on her bare shoulders. She had pouty pink lips and feline eyes with arched brows. Her skin was pale in colour enhancing her beauty.

She was walking slowly with her hips swaying in elegance making an illusion of a princess walking along the red carpet.

Ling Chu glanced at the girl walking towards the podium and continued, "Today Mr. Deng is accompanied by his daughter Ms. Deng Tia, who has enrolled in University of Beijing directly to senior year with major as Economics."

Everyone started clapping and some even gasped at the beauty they saw walking in front of them.

When Mr Deng and Deng Tia took their place over podium, Ling Chu started with next part of her speech, "Let's welcome Yan Xuan. Aqua King and winner of today's contest."

Girls were going crazy when they saw Yan Xuan exiting the locker room. He had a devilish smile on his face which was very rare to see.

Yan Xuan was showered with number of questions and celebratory wishes in locker room by his fellow contestants. He just wanted to get done with changing so he can head out and find Mo Hua again.

When he was done with changing, he hurriedly walked out towards the exit of locker room when Rong Chi stood in front blocking his way.

He was burning red in anger when he saw teasing smile appearing on his best friend's face. He wanted to smack his face but then realised that he should hurry and walk outside so he can catch up with Mo Hua.

After their first encounter, even though it was just with eyes, he felt connection with her. He had a feeling that Mo Hua also liked him and that feeling gave him the confidence to talk with her.

"Stand aside..." He said coldly.

Rong Chi smirked, "What if I don't?"

Yan Xuan almost yelled at him, "Let me go out fast. I am in rush."

Rong Chi hiding the fear rising in his heart, stood grounded not giving Xuan way out. He then said, "What's the rush Xuan. Host has yet to announce your arrival."

Yan Xuan, "…." Glaring at his friend's face.

Rong Chi diverting his eyes from Xuan's face said, "Is it coz of the beauty Ms Deng Tia over there on podium?"

Yan Xuan started to boil in anger. Shoving his friend aside with enough for not to hurt him, he said, "I already have the most beautiful girl in my heart. No one is even close to her beauty. So, don't worry I will leave rest of the girls for you to choose from." Saying this he started walking towards the exit when he heard his name was announced.

His heart warmed up just by the thought of seeing Mo Hua again and he increased his pace with a devilish smile pasted on his face.
