As she shut the door, I took a deep breath as I sat down on my bed, running my hand through my hair. She's already got a hold of me, way more than I was expecting. I haven't known her for long but I love her already. She's going to be an amazing Luna. When I saw how she protected the pack, I was beaming with pride. I can barely hold Slade back from marking her too early. I heard the shower turn on and I stood up, stretching before walking out of the bedroom.

I walked downstairs and started bringing everything in from the truck and putting it away. As I opened the last box, Angel walked out of the bathroom in a cloud of steam, only covered with a towel. Slade immediately started to push forward, causing me to fight him back.

"Sorry, I forgot to grab some clothes before taking a shower." Angel whispered shyly as she walked past me.

"You're fine. I put away most of your stuff already but you're also welcome to wear one of my shirts if you want." she smiled and nodded before walking into the closet. I took a deep breath.

Slade, you need to calm down. We can't force her.

But she smells so good!

'I know but we need to give her space. I don't want to scare her off.' I sighed out. He whimpered softly and retreated to the back of my mind. I ran my hand over my face and Angel walked out, wearing one of my shirts. It came down to her knees because of our size difference.

"Better?" I asked, smiling at her softly.

"Yes, very. Thank you." I nodded and grabbed some clothes out of the dresser to change into. I headed into the bathroom to change.

When I was done, I walked out to see Angel sitting on the couch flipping through movies. I smiled seeing her small figure curled up under my shirt.

"Do you have something you would like to watch?" she asked, still looking at the tv.

"You like horror?" I sat down next to her and pulled a blanket over both of us. She snuggled into my side, finding a movie and starting it.

'Hey. Could you bring up some dinner for Angel and I? ' I mind-linked Jack.

Sure boss. No problem.

'Thanks man.'

A minute later there was a knock on the door.

"Come in!" Jack walked in with two plates piled up with food. He set them on the table in front of us.

"Thanks again man." He nodded and walked out, softly closing the door behind him. Angel smiled at me as we dug in, watching the movie as we ate. After we were done eating we sat back and cuddled on the couch. Towards the end of the movie I looked over to see she was sleeping soundly. I smiled and turned off the TV, picked her up carefully so I wouldn't wake her and carried her to the bed. I tucked her in and climbed in next to her, pulling her into my arms. She pressed her face into my chest and I sighed in content.

I woke up to Angel cuddling closer to me. I smiled looking at her sleeping face and kissed her forehead. She started to stir, opening her eyes then blinking rapidly to adjust to the bright morning light. She smiled at me sleepily.

"Good morning love."

"Good morning…" she mumbled back groggily. She pulled back and stretched, the shirt riding up slightly and exposing her thighs. I closed my eyes tightly as Slade began to stir inside me.

"Are you okay?" Angel asked as she put her hand softly on my cheek. I nodded and opened my eyes to see her worried expression.

"Yeah. Slade keeps trying to push forward."my eyes flicked down and her gaze followed mine. She blushed and pulled up the blanket, covering herself.

"Sorry.." she mumbled, burying her face into the bed. I chuckled.

"No need to be sorry. You're new to all of this. I can't expect you to act the same as others. That wouldn't be fair." She peeked at me and smiled.

I reluctantly pulled the covers back and stretched, getting up and walking towards the bathroom.

"I'm going to take a quick shower. We can go get some breakfast when I'm done. Sound good?" She nodded and I walked into the bathroom, closing the door behind me.
