CHAPTER 2

While Ling Lan was cultivating nonstop Ling Feng has been talking to Phoenix.

Ling Feng: [Hey Phoenix I was wondering, did you some how make mom dress Ling Lan as a boy? Cause if I remember correctly someone in the side branch is trying to take my father's military benefits and only his son can take it. And you don't need to have 2 sons to take the benefits. I am a boy and Ling Lan is a girl, so she doesn't need to dress as a boy.]

PHOENIX: [ Of course it was me. Who do you think can make her change her desicion? If we change Ling Lan into a girl , the whole novel and timeline will be destroyed. It's original MC was dressed as a boy but if it changed into a girl what do you think will happen? Everything will change and everyones fate will change too. I know you're a very lazy person , so you definitely don't want to replace the MC and become the new MC, right? 🤨🤔😲]

Ling Feng:[Yeah, you're right. I definitely don't want to work hard. I should let the MC do the dangerous, laborous, boring, IQ and EQ required stuffs. I will just be a good baby boy👼. I don't want to kill my brain cells when I can lay back and watch the show 😃☺]

Ling Feng: [Finally I can earn points. Will I be able to buy stuff from animes, mangas or other worlds powers? Cause if I can buy them then I will become very OP.🤔😃😎]

PHOENIX:[Hmm, I don't think you're allowed to buy other world powers. You're only allowed to buy stuffs that are from this world or the stuff Ling Lan has because her stuff are considered to be from this world. You should wake up, it's time for you to eat. 😗😂🤭🍼]

Ling Feng:[Shut up, I know you're just jealous. Hmph. 😌😎]

PHOENIX:[You should try to strenghten your body. Because your spiritual power is tier-3 but your body fitness is only A rank. If you don't make your body stronger you will have to live like Ling Lan's last life. And in this world only the strong is respected, the weak is weeell you know. You should try not to change the events and most importantly try not to make anyone suspicious of you. Because you're not protected by this world's conscienceness.]

Ling Feng: [ Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're just like a nanny, also so annoying. Yada yada yada .... I'm not a baby. All you have to do is remind me, I can (might be able to) handle the rest.]

PHOENIX:[You can't and aren't allowed to interfere in Ling Lan's life because she will become who she is/who she will be in the future. You just have to strenghten yourself and go with the flow. You CAN change some stuff if you're stronger than the world's conscienceness, just so you know.]

While Lan Luofeng was feeding Ling Feng, he was talking/bickering with Phoenix and Ling Lan was sleeping/cultivating peacefully.

The last 2 days waiting for Ling Lan to wake up was quite boring so Ling Feng has been looking around the room, talking to Phoenix or talking to his mother (baby talk/ blabbering).

After Little Four to woke up Ling Lan from her cultivation she started to cry loudly. Hearing Ling Lan's loud crying chamberlain Ling Qin came in and told mommy that Ling Lan might be hungry. While mommy was feeding Ling Lan I asked her what she was doing and told her not to do that again. Then told her why mommy wasn't too worried and because I distracted mommy by acting cute, or else mommy would be too worried to eat anything.

I made her promise to eat on time and not to make mommy worried. A month went by quickly, and it was the time for the Federation to officially announce the inheritance.

While Ling Lan decided to take everything slowly, the day the Federation will officially announce the inheritance came. By officially announcing the inheritance Lan Luofeng will be acknowledge that her husband Ling Xiao has died to the public. Ling Lan was still clueless about what the inheritance was. While the twins were waiting in the room 2 maids came and picked them up from the bed and walked downstairs to a luxurious hall.

While the twins were assessing the hall the maids gave the twins to their mother. The twins knew that they were from a rich family but they didn't know that they were this rich. When Lan Luofeng held her two treasures in both her hands she got the courage and the strenght to oppose the greedy people.

Lan Luofeng calmly announced "These are Ling Xiao's children. They are twin boys. Only they have the right to inherit their father's legacy."

At that moment an old geezer whose an elder from the side branch spoke up "We need to ensure that Major General Ling Xiao's sacrifice is not in vain. We are not denying the twins right to inherit, but only wish that the Ling family will choose the most outstanding child to inherit Major General Ling Xiao's premium military benefits, and Major General Ling Xiao unfinished duties can be picked up by the most suitable candidate."

Lan Luofeng turned a sharp gaze at the elder. He is the grand elder of the side branch who is appointed by the family to protest the Ling twins inheritance.

The twins could feel Lan Luofeng trembling from anger and try to suppress her anger.

Honestly, they have never met such a shameless person. If his words were to be believed, what was the point of military men risking their lives to protect their country? When they die, was is it ok to take their inheritance from their flesh and blood? Even if they are from the same family?
