When the spectators saw this, all of them whispered to one another as they watched the scene in front of them.

"Huh? What happened?"

"I think the fight is… over?"

"That's no way impossible! Look at the man named Fenix. He looked enrage the way he looks at the other man."

"What would happen next?"

"Well, let's see for ourselves then, the result of this fight between them."

More and more gossips around them but the fighters at the center didn't bother to listen as they prepared for another fight.

After that, Fenix took his hammer from his behind and without saying a word, he charges forward at Ryan with killing intent as he released his power, with an intention of killing him.

"Let's see if you could dodge this! Always remember that a mere E-Ranker like you would always be nothing but an ant that can easily be crushed!"

Fenix shouted in rage as he strived forward to attack the other person and Ryan, on the other hand, became alerted because he noticed something from their early fights before.

When both of them fought with bare hands without their weapons earlier, he noticed that there seems to be a faint dark aura that surrounds Fenix from that time and he didn't know if his eyes were tricking him or something, but Ryan wouldn't mistaken that kind of ominous aura for something else.

'I don't know if what I saw is the one that I knew about, but this is not the time to think anything! I need to do something to counter his attack!'

He thought as he prepared for the incoming attack and since it comes to this then, Ryan doesn't have a choice but to reveal his power in order to counterattack that ominous force coming from this Fenix guy since normal swordsmanship wouldn't do him damage.

However, revealing his power means exposing his true identity in this Empire and if words come out after this incident, it would be a disaster for sure.

That means he owes an explanation to Scarlette since he was with her.

At that moment, he clenches his fist and prepared himself to reveal his power in order to counterattack that ominous aura coming from this Fenix guy who charged towards him with much killing intent that he didn't bother to conceal it.

'D*mn it! Is he planning to kill someone in broad daylight?!'

He thought as he cursed mentally and as he was about to reveal his power to counter that sinister force, Ryan felt something in the air.

"AHHHH!"

Ryan snapped when he heard that scream coming from his opponent and frowns as he haven't done anything yet but in a split second, a familiar silhouette stood in front of him and that person only lifts her finger to stop Fenix's attack and when the hammer touched its fingers…

*BOOOM!

The hammer breaks into pieces and the handle turn into dust because of the impact that happened and the spectators who were watching the battle protected themselves and some of them were protected by the guards who were with them.

However, because of the impact that happened from suddenly breaking that hammer, some of the pieces had scattered around and most of the spectators who happens to be at the closer area were screaming and running away in order to avoid those scattered pieces that were thrown over because of that sudden explosion.

As most of them were busy running away to cover themselves from those scattered pieces, they noticed a barrier that was deployed within their range and protecting them from those unforeseen attacks and all of them shift their gaze at the familiar silhouette at the center where the battle happens.

That familiar silhouette that most of the natives of this empire had recognized and noted that she somehow stopped the battle before it escalated even more.

The surrounding area where the battle took place had damaged the streets, and most of the stalls within the area are now wrecked because of this incident but it seems that no innocent people had been injured since there is a barrier that protects them.

As they saw the magic circle from above them and looked around to find out who was the one who cast the barrier but failed to identify their savior.

Jeffrey, on the other hand, almost cursed under his breath when the crimson-haired woman immediately interfered with the fight between those two adventurers, and no one had noticed how she immediately cast the barrier to protect the other spectators within the area.

'Phew! That woman…! Thank goodness that she immediately cast a barrier around them before she turn that hammer into pieces and scattered around the area! I don't want these people to get hurt or injured fatally because of this incident.'

As much as he wanted to help but Scarlette's words keeps on reminding him about his own mission and because of that, he felt frustrated but didn't have a choice but to comply since his secret mission given by the Emperor himself is much more important and he didn't want to risk himself to be exposed within the public.

'Also, why did she interfere in the fight just now? Did something happen?'

As he thought of any possibility for the crimson-haired woman to interfere in this fight, the Marquis made sure that he was out of everyone's sight as he didn't want to be recognized by the people in this city.

"Ah! Look! It's Lady Scarlette Overland!"

Jeffrey snapped from his thoughts when one of the spectators shouted her name and all of them looked at the familiar crimson-haired woman at the center where the battle takes place.

'Ah! She got herself exposed instead!'

Jeffrey thought as he clicked his tongue in annoyance as these people keeps on clamoring the crimson-haired woman's name as if it's nothing but ordinary.

Since her hood had been pulled off and everyone saw her signature black veil and her fiery crimson-colored hair with her unique mismatched crimson lilac-colored eyes, they had confirmed who she was.
