Chapter 7 - Application

Hearing the basic information about Jiro's overall quirk began to analyze the things that helped improve her quirk. 

Even before his profound change, Izuku had been fascinated by many different quirks and therefore took in depth research of all kinds of quirks.

The only thing that he was unable to know was All Might's quirk. It was still a mystery how vague articles about his quirk were displayed in the public.

"Gideon, Please show me the file of all sound related quirks and give me the database of ways to help her."

The two women confused who he was talking to only when his watch suddenly produced a holographic head. 

[There are a total 88 sound related quirk folder and several application in combat]

"Artificial intelligence? I thought only people from I-Island have this?"

"That's kinda cool, it's like those supercomputers from movies?"

"Hahaha yup! Say hi Gideon." 

[Greetings, Momo Yaoyorozu, Heir of Yaoyorozu Group and Kyoka Jiro.]

"Hello, it's fine to just call me by name. Are you the one who made her, Midoriya-san?"

"Got that right! It took me a while to finish programming her but eventually succeeded."

"Amazing! Your intellect and martial art alone could already make you a hero."

"Thanks! I was planning just that but a minor miscalculation gave me a quirk."

He laughed it off while Yaoyorozu could not help but admire the young man who, despite his setback, proved to everyone that by working hard and not letting the world get in your way would persevere till the end. 

It made her more interested to learn more about him without realizing. Jiro noticed this, opted for a frown and felt slightly jealous. 

"Here we go! Jiro-san, can I ask you a few things about your quirk?"

"Shoot."

"Your quirk allows you to transfer sound, correct?"

"Yeah though it depends on the device I plug my earphone jack into."

"You can't control the volume or frequency of sound?"

"Unfortunately, no." 

"Alright, done. Let me ask you, Have you made a hero costume yet?"

"I was planning to order before I got to UA."

"Well can you tell me what you are planning to give?"

"Sure actually I have my design saved in my phone."

Jiro proceeded to show him the design, finding that some features of them were uncreative and lacking the use of her quirk.

He saved the photo to his phone before a hologram showed the entirety of Jiro's Costume showing how she would like wearing it.

"Is that how I look?"

"If it's alright but I plan to change a few design choices to your customer since some features of your speaker like the frequency manipulation and also add earbuds to protect your ears from the sound. Furthermore…"

"Wait wait your mumbling too fast!"

"Oh sorry old habit of mine especially when it comes to quirks!"

This is how he usually acts when a new quirk comes his way, getting in his own world of analyzing every little detail. 

Jiro and Momo find it cute that despite his manly figures still had this child-like side of him.

"What are the new features that you plan to add to Jiro's costume, Midoriya-san?"

"You know how different frequencies affect people and things surrounding them?"

"I understand, if Jiro is able to manipulate the frequency then she would be able to disrupt a person's balance."

"...and here I thought I was smart."

She blushed from the compliment and for the first time recieving a guanine praise rather fake one that she always hears. People always wanted to get close to her because she was the daughter of the Yaoyorozu group. 

"Great analysis, that is exactly what I planned to do. You Jiro-san, your quirk is OP if applied correctly."

"Wait, is that true? My quirk to be that strong?"

"Actually based on how you design it is basically copying Present mic, right?"

"Well yeah...I hadn't thought of using it that way."

"Alright, Gideon placed the project of Kyoka Jiro."

"Wait, are you planning on making my costume!?"

"That depends if you want. I don't mind it since this also helps me further improve my machinery. And those piles of scrap would easily be made into fine machinery."

Jiro was unsure if to accept his assistance as it would make her indebted to him for the second time and did not want to bother him by requesting to make her the costume. 

"I can't bother you and from yesterday I feel like I'll just be indebted to you forever."

"Is that so then I'll just transfer the upgrades then let the place that you originally intended to order it."

Izuku respected her decision giving a bright smile that made Jiro avoid his gaze from rejecting his offer but did not regret it. He transfers the full detail that Gideon is able to come up and surprise Jiro the many applications of her quirk can be used. 

"Thanks, Midoriya-san!"

"No problem, now it's your turn Yaoyorozu-san. Can you tell me about your quirk?"

"My quirk allows me to create anything so long that it is not a living being and I need to know the atomic configuration of said object in order to reproduce it."

Momo proceeded to demonstrate her quirk by making a doll in a rather quick manner showing it was her first creation at how proficient she was.

"I first imagined the necessary parts, followed by the materials, then the assembling process and, finally, the coating. Also I need to expose my skin in order to make them."

"Hmmm living being? So you can still produce both organic and non organic materials?"

[A/N: the author said it that only living things that she can't make. ]

"Precisely, also I use my lipids as materials and depending on the object could cost more lipids to be used."

"To be honest that's broken if the application is correct."

"Can you further explain?"

"Well what if you have secrete nitroglycerin then find a way to ignite it? Boom explosion quirk! Or like midnight gas, sleeping gas!"

Momo's eyes wide from the sudden realized her flaws instead of always trying to make solid objects that would make the chemical structure and do what Izuku explained. 

Izuku recalled his good friend Bakugou and his quirk that used the same application by using his sweat like nitroglycerin. He wondered if it was possible to use the same to Momo's quirk. 

"Also you can make armor or even claw like those old comics the wolverine."

"I never thought of it that way! Thank you, Midoriya for opening my eyes!"

"Don't mention it! Oh hey how about letting me see your costume?"

He was confused when momo became flustered recalling how her original costume looks. 

"Remember how I said I need my skin to be exposed?"

"Oh I see where this is going. You need to tell me but hey since I made a redesign for Jiro, why don't I do the same to yours?"

"It's alright you don't have to…"

"No, I insist since your friend is Jiro-san then you're my friend as well. I can't leave you doing this. Also think of it as payment for giving me more research materials regarding quirks."

Momo wanted to stop him but he was persistent and decided to give up letting him do the design of her costume. He expanded the Holograph as Izuku intently began to design her hero costume.

"Okay apply that, that and that. This should be longer. Alright, it's coming nicely."

They watched as he seemed to move several times than the person shocking them and immediately thought it was his quirk. Izuku was too invested to even notice the subtle change when he was in the zone.

He made Momo Customer expose more skins without appearing too elicited and took a few minutes to finish the process that should take an hour. 

"Done! pe you like it!"

Momo was surprised that the design was relatively similar to hers but added some changes like her chest wasn't exposed rather her abdomen and back was. It was a full description of the schematic that would guide the one making her costume.

"Sorry for making you wait for an hour."

"An hour? It's only been like 3 minutes."

"3 minutes? Oh I forgot that I had a quirk!"

Izuku only had his quirk for like 2 days? It would be strange if he had already gotten used to using it. He may be smart but that does not mean he is great at everything.

"We told you our quirk but hadn't told us yours?"
