chunnin readiness: the diverting lines and sand meeting

The sun rose over Konoha shining the light of the new day but under the village, there was a secret meeting between the shinobi of shadows and Orochimaru sitting on at a table created from earth release.

"what's the meaning of this I thought the sand was the only one attacking?"

Danzo was very pissed but kept his composure as he hoped the snake had a good reason.

"hehe relax I'm sure the village will survive if you send your ROOT plus you'll have more of an excuse to start the 4th war doesn't that sound enticing plus you'd have your chances of being hokage"

Danzo's mood improved a bit but he kept his same neutral expression.

"very well I'll be waiting then"

Orochimaru got up before poofing away.

Sasuke was his original self from before his death and was falling he looked at himself to see he was translucent and while he was falling there was a continuous unraveling scroll showing the normal events of the original Sasuke's life from his happy childhood to his final fight with Naruto. Then another scroll appeared showing his current changes that unraveled thousands of other timelines then a blinding light appeared.

"it's seems you've already caused waves ind-no young Sasuke I'll be keeping watch of what you do and I hope your ready for what's coming"

that's when Sasuke felt his eyes get heavy until everything went dark

Sasuke jumped out of bed and drew his blade but his hand was grabbed.

"Yo Sasuke I taken your dream wasn't a good one?"

Kakashi said keeping up his calm attitude despite what would have happened if he was too slow.

"Oh Kakashi morning...wait why are you in my room?"

"I was here to tell you to meet me at the training ground 7 for an announcement"

"alright then see yah"

Kakashi flashed away leaving Sasuke alone. Sasuke got dressed in his full gear and left at high speeds to the training ground. Kakashi had spent their month of break literally training them to the ground in weights. Naruto somehow even with him when it came to the amount of weight they were carrying being equal to Lee though Sakura was 2 steps behind she was doing leagues better than before. Sasuke arrived meeting up with his team.

"so sensei what's the occasion?"

"Yeah I was looking for some new clothes"

Sasuke raised an eyebrow.

"you changing outfits I'm glad you realized it wasn't it"

"wasn't it? what are you tryna say!?"

"that you obviously have no taste in fashion like Sasuke"

"sense in fashion that's a girly way to put it"

"while getting a change of attire might be needed that's not why your all here I've got much more important news"

Kakashi pulled out some papers to the team.

"those papers I just gave all you are for participating in the chunnin exams which happens once a year and this year it's hosting by us"

"so your saying if we take this we'll get promoted!?"

Naruto asked a little too excited.

"yes but It's not a guarantee you need to show your worthy of being promoted of course I'm not going to give any hints but if course all parties have to agree"

He said before pulling out his book.

Sasuke looked to see their reactions Naruto didn't looked pressured by the exams at all and signed up Sakura only looked slightly nervous before also signing the paper Sasuke signed up after and they all gave him the papers.

"glad you all agreed otherwise you'd wouldn't be able to take it"

Sasuke decided to walk away Naruto and Sakura yelled at him before also leaving Kakashi sighed before reading his favorite book.

Naruto and Sakura were walking down the main path.

"hey Sakura do you want some ramen I promise I'm not asking for a date"

Sakura eyed him suspiciously Naruto sweated a bit wondering what she'd do but to his surprise she gave a sweet smile.

"sure Naruto if it's just lunch I won't mind"

Naruto face brightened up immediately

"alright let's go!"

Naruto started running to where the restaurant was but he tripped over a box and fell on his face He groaned a bit before getting up and looked at the box colored like a rock he rolled his eyes and kicked the rock so hard it flew off on the other side of a building. To no one's surprise Konohamaru was revealed under looking shocked.

"woah boss that was amazing"

"that's nothing Konohamaru tell me why you were in the middle of the road"

"I wanted you to play ninja with me!"

"sure I don't mind but I'm going to take Sakura to Ichiraku first!"

"huh who's that the pink haired girl over there why would you take her there? her forehead reflects the sun!"

Naruto paled and looked back at Sakura who stopped right next to him and now had this scary look he looked back at Konohamaru.

"Y-you should run"

"huh!?"

"I'm gonna pummel you!"

Konohamaru sprinted off being chased by Sakura Naruto followed behind trying to be the voice of reason for once until Konohamaru bumped into someone. He was picked up by a boy with face paint in a hoody with something tied in wrapping behind his back.

"hey kid why'd you bump into me didn't anyone teach you manners?"

"let me go I'm the son of the Hokage so you'll be in big trouble!"

"oh yeah sure you are and I'm the Buddha kid"

"Kankuro let the kid go we shouldn't start things before we even get to take the exams"

"don't worry Temari I won't kill em I'll just teach him a lesson"

he raised his fist about to punch him but someone gripped his hand hard.

"let him go"

Naruto gripped tighter on Kankuro's hand forcing him to let go and grasp it.

"You little punk I'll k-"

Kankuro stop as he looked at Naruto's kyuubi amped eyes he stepped back in fear. Naruto seeing that he got his point across deactivated the chakra and turned back to Konohamaru with a smile.

"you ok Konohamaru?"

"Yeah boss thanks you were so cool!"

but suddenly the mood became tense as someone else showed themselves.

"I hide my presence of 5 minutes and you go off and started trouble"

Both the sand Shinobi got a cold sweat Kankuro more so looking at a nearby tree seeing Gaara.

"Gaara I-"

"shut up before I kill you especially for embarrassing our village"

he appeared on the road looking back.

"You can show yourself as well"

lightning struck the road as Sasuke appeared.

"Gaara of the sand I've heard a lot about you my name is Sasuke Sasuke Uchiha"
