C31- Praying Mantis

The grin on the chimera ant's face was replaced by a frown, the slash not only cut through his paw but the skin of his right paw began to rot in the process prompting the ant to cut off the rest of its right hand "Hahahaha, not so funny is it, just because you rag dolled me do you think you have won, I am a 3rd-Circle swordsman who had trained since he was little, you think a puny ant like you can defeat me" Shelby roared running towards the chimera ant.

Once again Shelby with his full power up was rag-dolled around as if he was nothing but an actual doll whose only purpose was to be thrown around by a hyena half-ant Chimera, at this point it was getting difficult for Shelby to keep up with the speed of the ant and his body was full of claw marks, the more blood left his body the harder it because for him to control his Kai zone.

"Come on is that all you've got I demand you entertain me more" the chimera ant spoof looking at the elf with a mocking gaze before laughing, mocking sounds coming from the hyena's mouth enraged the elf as he thrust his sword forward with every bit of energy within him.

However, the chimera ant sidestepped narrowly evading the sword but Shelby had expected this as he swung sideways, the ant docked down at an impressive speed, and a smile appeared on Shelby's face as he slammed his shield against the ant.

Shelby looked down and saw a clawed hand pierce into his stomach, but how his shield was supposed to protect him as it was placed before him, then he realized that the attack had come from his back, and before he could look back the hand pulled out his spine crippling Shelby immediately then a sweet voice entered his ears "H why didn't waste too much time, the queen requests your presence at once" the voice sounded like the sweetest melody Shelby had ever heard, somehow the voice made him accept his death.

He felt like he had already fulfilled his density which was by dying at the hands of the strange people he couldn't even see as life faded from his eye, "Tsk... You should have let me have more fun, things were getting more interesting I was learning more from that elf" H the hyena ant chimera said, he looked around, half of the buildings around had been turned into dust by the power of the strange sword, it looked at the sword which had appeared back in its sheath with was attached to the shield.

It picked up the shield with a smile on its face "I can give this to sister in case the Queen gets angry because of the delay" he mused nodding his head.

"Anyway how many of the supplies reach the nest," H asked.

"Ohhh, about 6000 elves, and 500 demi-humans, I must say the Queen would be pleased with this, you did good," the voice belonging to a praying mantis chimera ant said, the praying mantis chimera Ant had the body of a praying mantis with 4 arms, it stood on two legs that belong to an ant.

The hyena Ant chimera smiled at the thought of being praised by the queen "Okay we are done here, but I still have one more thing to do" H said as it bent down and opened its jaws before beginning to eat the dead elf, it didn't take more than 1 minute before most of Shelby's body was eaten by H "That was strangely good" H said before communicating with the remaining ants to head back to the Nest.

Before H left it used its sharp claws to sharpen a wood from one of the many fallen buildings and placed Shelby's head on a spike leaving it there as a gift for the Lord of the Town whenever that person comes back.

All the ants within the Town began to March out of the town, some carried the dead elves while some carried things like fruits and other stuff, Shane who had been hiding in a corner watching the battle between the H and Shelby finally left his hiding spot, he saw something that caught his eye and that was the shining ring Shelby had in on his finger, he didn't see H take the ring so he hurried towards Shelby's badly eaten body.

Shane almost threw up after seeing the mingled body of the Elf and his head that was on a pike, but he didn't want to waste any more time, normally shane wouldn't have thought of looting a dead person but when he stumble upon the battle between the Elf and the Chimera ant after going around terrorizing the weaker ants between level 2 to 4, it because difficult to find the weaker ones, he had gain more stats point but since he didn't want to make a wrong choice distributing the points he planned on waiting till he got back to the Lord's mansion.

When he saw the two fighting, he noticed something glowed on the Elf's finger and the system told him that it was a Storage Ring, a ring that has a subspace within that can store any inanimate object, he was fascinated by the ring but he had no way of getting it so he focused on the battle, during the battle Shane learned one thing and that was he was weak, he saw how the Chimera ant had played with a 3rd-Circle warrior as if it was nothing.

Shane had met some 1st-Circle warriors in the lord's compound and the Aura from their bodies was enough to make him feel tense not to mention a 3rd-Circle warrior that could kill someone like Shane a mere [Mortal] 500 times over without even drawing his weapon, even being this far from the battle Shane was still affected by the Aura from the two beings.

But in no time the Elf died and the Ant ate part of his body before placing his head on a spike, anyways Shane looked around for the Ring, and not far away from the elf's body, he saw the ring still on a finger, he picked up the finger, removed the ring before running away as fast as he could, it was time to head back to the mansion and distribute his stats points.

Not long after Shane ran away from the body, 3 figures could be seen flying towards the Elf's body. "I hope he's still alive, it took us too long to finish off the other Ants," a white-haired Elf said with a hint of worry in his voice, this was the Leader of the Town's adventurers Guild, he had gone around the Town killing the other Bishop ranked Chimera ants until he met a praying mantis Chimera Ant, that almost made him lose his will to live just by her voice but as a [Expert] mage he was able to push her back, the Ant was stronger than he had thought, during their battle, it became clear to him that this Praying mantis Chimera ant was above the Bishop rank,

It was clearly a Knight ranked creature, but as they were facing each other with the ant having the upper hand because of her deadly voice that could make a mage of his level lag a little bit the ant suddenly ran away and soon all the other ant also began to match back to the Ant dungeon, he immediately fly towards where he had left
