It was clearly a Knight ranked creature, but as they were facing each other with the ant having the upper hand because of her deadly voice that could make a mage of his level lag a little bit the ant suddenly ran away and soon all the other ant also began to match back to the Ant dungeon, he immediately fly towards where he had left his Vice guild master and on his way there he met the second in command for the Town's guards.
As an [Expert] mage flying was something that came naturally, so he picked the two up by their hands flying them towards where he had received a report of the battle between the Shelby and another powerful Chimera ant "Am sure the Commander will be fine" the second in command for the guards said, he was a young Elf around the age of 40 who had exceptional skills that he received training from both Shelby and the Town lord, he was a dark elf who could use both Mana and Kai just like the town lord.
"Welmark, I also pray that he is alive, but those ants were different than we had thought, The Chimera ant I fought was a mixture of a praying Mantis and an Ant it had strange power that affected the soul in a way that I can't explain, its voice was able to strip me of my will to live," The Guild leader said.
The trio flew towards the Eastern side of the Town on their way there the group remained quiet, they saw different buildings destroyed, dead Elves, and ants everywhere, some elves were still fighting the Ants that had not left the Town, getting closer they saw an open plane devoid of anything be it buildings or grass not even any dead bodies and in the middle of the plane was a head mounted on a spike.
"No no no no.....no, how can this happen, how is this possible, this must be a dream right..... Someone, anybody please wake me up" Welmark said as tears poured like an endless stream from his eyes, this was so unreal for him, Shelby had always been like a father figure to him, and he had admired Shelby a lot, he wished to be like him when he grew older, a strong caring man that would do anything to keep his Town safe.
Although they were both in the 3rd-Circle realm the strength and experience between them were leagues apart, while Welmark continued crying the white-haired snow Elf and his vice a beastman from the were-lion tribe, he was a tall man standing at 8 feet tall his thick mane proudly swaying along with the wind stood silent, the white-haired elf spoke to the were-lion through his mind [This is messed up, the guild is going to get blamed for this..... How the fuck didn't we notice this anomaly]
[I don't know Leader, there had been no sign of Mana fluctuations within any dungeon around the Town, so how did this go unnoticed] The were-lion replied. It was clear that the guild was going to get blamed for the death and destruction of half of the Town.
Most nobles hate adventurers because they are seen as commoners trying to make themselves something they weren't supposed to be, 'An Important figure' to the society, and because of the powers, the adventurers have because of the constant endangerment of their lives to Rank up, when a adventurers reach a certain rank the kingdom would offer a nobility title to such adventurers to tie them to the kingdom.
[There is nothing we can do about it, this is my mistake and I will take responsibility for it when the Lord returns] The white-haired elf said.
[We will have to put up a quest immediately, we can not allow such a threat to exist, we have to contact the other guild around to send their top adventurers too] The were-lion said, which the Elf nodded at, as it was the best thing to do they couldn't allow such threat exist so close to their Town, as their was nothing stopping the Ants from attacking again.
The were-lion bowed to the Elf before leaving to inform the Adventurers Associates which was in charge of the adventurers guild stationed around the world.

Shane had managed to sneak back into his room, it wasn't much of a sneak as most of the guards were busy maintaining the Town, he got into his room, and took a long bath before he could check the stats he fell on his bed and off to the dream world he went, he had been running around the Town eliminating the weaker ants that he was so tired that immediately his body touched the bed he slept off.
It was only after dark did Shane woke up, his stomach rumbled as he yawned, and he stretched his exhausted body filling a new sense of energy after his slumber.
"That was oddly refreshing, now time to check what's inside the ring, so how do I use it" He asked the system which had advised him to get hold of the ring when the Elf fell in battle.
[Wear the ring then apply a little bit of your mana into it, since its previous owner is dead the ring should acknowledge you as its new master]
Shane did as he was told, he fused his Mana into the ring, and after hearing a click sound the content of the ring entered his mind "Wow what are those" There were strange rocks, some swords, clothes, fruits, and some other things Shane had never seen before, that was to be understood as he hadn't spend more that 2 weeks in this world.
He willed out one of the strange orbs, the round orb appeared in his palm, the orb had a dark color
"Identify"
[Name - Mana crystal
Rank - Belong to a Bishop rank Chimera Ant]
That was all the information he got apart from the Rank it wasn't very useful, he had no idea what to do with the crystal, if it was useful for him, or if it would make him some coin.
As he was wondering the system's voice entered his mind
[Boy you are very lucky, those are Mana crystals, directly absorbing the Mana within the crystals would increase your Mana, but I wouldn't advise you to absorb the Mana from a Bishop rank monster yet as your body could explode, try looking for a pawn rank Mana orb]
Taking the system's advice he brought out all the orbs inside the ring, there was a total of 17 orbs, and lucky enough only 3 were Bishop-grade crystals, the system explained to him how to absorb the Mana within the crystal and those Shane began absorbing the Mana within 14 pawn grade Mana crystal.
