"Why not? Roselyn is allowed to have a lover of her age, she won't stay with an old man like me forever." Oliver laughed at his daughter's silliness and patted her head, but she wasn't having it, this wasn't a joke or just something to laugh about for her.
"No! I don't want to lose my mother! She is mine! Nobody can take her away from us!" Bella shouted, getting up from the bed and throwing the soup on the floor, making a mess and surprising both Oliver and Roselyn, they didn't know how to respond; Bella lost her mother at a young age and has been looking for one, for ages before Oliver married Roselyn, so it will be hard for her to let go of the title, of Roselyn being her mother, but she has to because Oliver doesn't want tie Roselyn to him, he doesn't want her to love her life in a dull mansion, taking of someone her age and with a man, possibly if not surely, older than her father; he wants her to live life and enjoy it to the fullest.
