I was busy listening to the audio file Ben sent to me concerning the site he went to.

"Miss Skylar, who is there? " I asked and I heard the creak sound of the door.

"Sir it's… . " Before Miss Skylar could finish her words, I heard that troublesome kiddo's voice, why is she here?

"Been awhile Brother, I missed you" I heard her footsteps closer to me, the little brat hugged me and I chuckled.

When did she come back from country tour?

"Little brat?" I called and she pulled away.

"Come on Vin, I'm not little Brat" She whined and I chuckled.

"So what are you?You are still a little brat, when did you come back?" I asked and I heard her giggled.

"Today, right now" She said and I scoffed.

"That means your Mom didn't know you are back?" I surprisingly asked.

"Come closer" I said and I trailed my hand on her face and grabbed her ear. I twitched her ear and she yelped.

"Ouch! " She yelped and I chuckled.

"You should have informed her" I told her and she huffed.

"I see you have a new secretary, she is damn beautiful, You should have seen her" She said and I scoffed.

"Amelia, You know I'm after how hardworking they are, not their beauty" I recalled and I heard her huffing.

"Come on, live your life and forget that bitch Nina, the bitch looked miserable now" She added and I breathed out.

"Amelia" I whined, She should stop reminding me of her already.

"Okay, You are done for today, wait Where is the Old Gaizer?" She questioned and I chuckled.

"You still remember his name, I sent him to one of our sites" I told her.

"Okay, Your Secretary will follow us then" She said and I sighed. I know she will not let me be whenever she is around. Even Though her mother restricted her not to get involved with me, she is so stubborn and has a good heart. She is just sixteen yet she acts like 18.

I hopped down from the cab and rushed into the Hospital, I can't wait to see my baby. It's too late to back off from work. It's damn stressful and that Boss' younger sister is such a pain in ass. She is somehow rude, I wonder who she took after. But obviously, she likes My Boss more than anything. I opened the door to her ward but she was not there. What?

I rushed to Doctor Sam's office and I was told they changed her ward already.

"Annie" I called out her name as I entered into the ward not minding those that are in there, I pulled her into a tight hug.

"Skylar" She called back huskily and I patted her hair.

"Thank you for surviving, Thank you so much" I mumbled and she chuckled.

"Nurse Lois said I will survive so I know I will" She said and I laughed.

" And for that I got you a gift" I said and She raised her brows smiling already.

"What is that?" She asked and I chuckled.

"Ta-da" I brought out a Headphone from my bag and her eyes widened.

"Holy Goodness! I can't believe this" She exclaimed and I chuckled. I know she will be happy, the last one Dad got for her on her birthday fell and broke.

"Sister, I love you" She giggled and threw her arms around while I only chuckled. Forgetting there are people in here.

"Annie, people are here" I whispered and she chuckled.

"I'm just too happy" She said and I stroked her hair.

"I'm happy that you are happy" I told her and she smiled.

"So tomorrow, you will get discharged, but baby, Anita will be the one to pick you up, I will be at work" I said and she nodded.

"But wait, you got a new job? " She asked and I chuckled softly.

"Yes, why? " I asked back and she smiled.

"I like this new job more than the one you are doing before, I love the way you dress" She said and I smiled. She is so smart.

After making sure she sleep, I boarded a cab home looking so worn out, I'm damn hungry. I walked down to our neighborhood as I opened the door to our apartment.

I perceived this aroma and I smiled.

Can Anita be less Amazing? I mumbled.

<NEXT MORNING>

I walked into the company and sighted Evelyn,

"Hi Skylar" She smiled and I gladly returned the smile.

"Good Morning" I replied and she waved at me. I walked into my office and I breathed out.

I look out to His office, He is talking to Mr Ben and seems he heard something amusing. He smile widely and fuck me, the Smile is so beautiful. My phone rang interrupting my staring moment.

"Mrs Abigail, Good day ma'am" I said quietly and I heard her clear her throat.

"Is he falling for you already? " She asked and I gulped down.

"Not yet, I want to gain his trust in me " I said and he scoffed.

"Okay" With that she hung up, so much authority for powerful people.

I breathed out and rested one hand on my akimbo. I look at my boss through the transparent wall, what should I do to start moving closer to him?"

Ben has already left his office, so I need to get his coffee first. I came back and knocked on the door, I heard his voice then I walked inside.

"Good Morning sir" I bowed slightly and he stopped trying to find with his hand, I think he is looking for something.

"Miss Skylar, How are you this morning? " He asked.

"Great and here is your coffee sir" I said politely and he nodded.

"Bring it closer" He said and I did so, I was about to hand it to him when the Coffee split on my hands making me yelp.

"Ouch!" I yelped and he became alerted. He quickly drops the coffee.

"Miss Skylar, are you okay? Let me "he said stretching forward his hand while I refused at first.

"Sir, it's fine" I rejected but he insisted. I leaned my hand closer to him and he held it in his.

"You should have been careful" He muttered and he brought out an Handkerchief from his pocket and wrapped it in my hands.

"The handkerchief has been bewitched to heal faster" He said and I chuckled.

"Thank you sir" I said and took away my hand.

I think I just took a step closer to him.
